Omg. I wish you didn't make just a medley but re-did every song from start to finish. This is so epic. If they ever make a movie out of the series, they should hire you to provide the soundtrack.
I love what you did with "Al the Killer" and the transition into "A Favor", but your arrangement of "The Light & the Glass" was what impressed me most of all. You manage to convey as much emotion as Claudio's best solo acoustic recordings. By the time you reached the transition to "21:13" I might have been tearing up. (And that's hard to do, when you're a shark.)
Hello Mr. Sanchez, I know you gotta be here reading this. 👋 you've helped aligned my heart and soul in a positive way with you're music and vocal talent. -- (Matthew Chastney, thank you also. The familiar sounds are a natural serenity with "stabs" of exciting vibes.)
This was all of the amazing! The world has no more amazing because you invested it all in this arrangement. That second repeated chorus of Al the Killer... Oh my god...
He originally said on Reddit that he does plan to do them, but that they would be a long while away. He has to do them in his spare time between other projects.
At first I didn't think I would listen to the whole thing, but I honestly did; that epic Light & Glass outro gave goosebumps, so good job capturing the same feeling you would get from listening to the actual album. Looking forward to more.
You sir are amazing! I freaked out when I saw this on my subscriptions feed. Your SSTB medley was amazing and I have been excitedly waiting to hear your take on my favorite Coheed album of all time! You did not disappoint!! Every bit was perfect. God I hope Claudio hears this, it would be a crime if he doesn't. The feels man the feels!!!!!
Fantastic work man. You did a great job painting a landscape with this composition (from some awesome source material). For a lot of it, however, I could only picture Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli slaying some orcs
I was listening to this with my door open and my cat walked in. She never comes in here. Sat right next to me on the bed and took off when the music stopped. She has the feels.
Hey, man. Awesome job. Hope you don't mind if I ask you something... What software did you use? I'd like to do some similar job, but I don't have any idea about where I should start. If you could give me some tips... :P Thanks. (: And really, I can't wait to hear "The Afterman" version. Pretty sure that's gonna be awesome.
Man, excellent job. I loved all of your sonic ideas and what voices carried the melody at different points. I'd love to know how long it took you to arrange/compose this.
Thanks! It took quite a while but the arranging isn't actually the most time consuming process. The production parts are what took most of the time; programming the software instruments to sound realistic, mixing the entire track etc. This one took a bit longer than the Second Stage one because in addition to the orchestral parts there are also the synths, electronic drums, effects etc. Overall I probably spent 4 weeks on-and-off on this when I had the time between my work projects.
Matthew Chastney Thanks for the respond man, one more question if you don't mind. Did you use any live musicians for certain parts? Some of those instrumental samples (if they are just samples) sound UNREAL.
Reagan Schweers I wish I could have some live musicians in these but I just do these for fun, so I don't really have a budget to pay them with. The samples are very good, there is a learning curve to using them effectively but once you figure it all out then you can get awesome results.
Thank you for making this. I will never forget the look on my husbands face when I walked down the isle to the intro of The light & the Glass.❤️
Forget big budget composers for the film. If Claud finds this, he'll be a fool not to hit you up.
I completely agree. This is just amazing. Can you just imagine the opening credits with that Ring In Return piece? WOW.
+Zach Pegg I can't wait for the film! I'm anxious again now that you remind me... Screw Christmas, THE FILM IS THE REAL DEAL
2113 starts at 21:57 so close...

This is my first, and only, UA-cam comment; I created the account just to let you know how fucking AWESOME this is. Thank you.
I'm a huge Coheed fan and I just found your covers and listened to all of them. This shit is incredibly inspiring and amazing work truly.

This is incredible.
This is amazingly beautiful and deeply underrated, awesome work Matthew 🤘😎
I can listen to this front to back and just remember my childhood listening to Coheed for the first time in highschool....thank you for this.
This was all of the amazing! The world has no more amazing because you invested it all in this arrangement. That second repeated chorus of Al the Killer... Oh my god...

I can't even describe to you the emotions I feel when I listen to this. Thank you! Forever, one among the fence.
I appreciate all the time you allowed for The Light & the Glass. There's so much movement in that song.
I want this to be the soundtrack to my life.
this is the best thing ever. i mean it. please please please do a full album. or another CoCa album. i'm begging you.
Listened to this 3 times since yesterday, and still cannot get over how amazing that crescendo is at the end of The Light and The Glass.
End of The Light & the Glass gave me chills
And excellent work on The Light and the Glass. This was the way that piece was meant to be heard.
Simply brilliant. I can't think of anything else more appropriate to say.
Only criticism I have is that Cuts has an amazing chorus with an amazing buildup and you skipped it/didn't utilize it. Other than that this is great!
Fantastic arrangement! I'd love to hear it live, it would be an amazing show to listen to!
7:45 - that part from "Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow)" is just so sweet.
12:45 - Blood Red Summer (what did I do to deserve~)
Everything about this is fantastic. From the string section in "the Crowing" to the outro of "The Light & The Glass." Great job, sir.
At first I didn't think I would listen to the whole thing, but I honestly did; that epic Light & Glass outro gave goosebumps, so good job capturing the same feeling you would get from listening to the actual album. Looking forward to more.

Simply amazing i can't believe it. Are you going to do this for every album eventually?
You should do one of these for every coheed album.
6:10 Pull the trigger, and the nightmare stops. ♥
wouldnt it be "Dear my friends in the time we've spent forever after beyond this when will our nightmare ever end?"
+ECxTheMaster yeah, that's the verse before it :)
I would pay for a completed cover album if you were willing to make one.
The end of The Crowing part reminds me of something Hans Zimmer would do. I LOVE it.
This is beautiful :)
And I cried when it cam to "The Light and The Glass"
this is fucking amazing
This is fucking amazing.
