Another great vid, Alex. Also some good advice given. Keep the faith, pal. My dad and all my uncles were trawlermen in Hull and i used to stand right where you were fishing to watch my dad sail away and arrive back 3 weeks later. God bless all the men who lost their lives in a very dangerous industry. Cheers, Alex and all the best.
I started fishing at the age of 6, my dad took me and my brother out most days to put food on the table, nowadays i return most of what i catch, i've not had whiting for years, my mum certainly knew how cook whatever we caught, great memories, getting woke up in the early hours of a winters night to head out into the middle of morecambe bay in the freezing weather, fishing into the sunrise, brilliant

How did you keep it mate till you got it home and do you believe in bleeding fish? I mean, commercial trawlers can't possibly bleed every fish, they just gut and put on ice don't they.
