Hi Lost Things! Thanks for checking out my channel. The bungee really helps me. The TreasurePro is really light. I just have arm/shoulder issues so now I can swing for hours again. That’s a helluva first detector! I’m jealous. I can’t wait to see your metal detecting adventures and awesome finds! 😊 GL&HH! Jay
@@Gaptains_vloG thanks so much! I've been wanting to do it for years and I'm lucky to be able to get the nox, going to make a video of picking her up and first hunt tomorrow! So excited! Looking forward to seeing more of your hunts!
I def plan to film it all, called my local detector shop to make certain they had one! How long have you been detecting? Love when you say "rinse rinse rinse" Haha
I’ve been detecting since 2015. My daughter wanted a detector but got bored when almost everything was bottle caps. Mind you we were detecting a beach on a military base so there were a lot of beer bottle caps to clean up. It took a month for me to clean off the beach. I found all kinds of cool stuff while doing it. Jewelry, a bunch of coins, a couple watches, and a few jars of fish hooks and sinkers. Then I retired and moved back to Florida where I detect while the kids are at school. 😂 I had to rinse, rinse, rinse when the wet sand didn’t filter through the scoop. 😂😂😂
Hi Nora! Thanks for checking out my channel and the kind words! I always remove the trash. It would bother me if I didn’t. Lol I subscribed to your channel. I like that you get to travel and you find treasure! I get to live vicariously through you. 😁 GL&HH! Jay!
The little gray scoop is a feed scoop that I got in a pet aisle in a hardware store. The whole scoop is a 64 oz Rubbermaid scoop. I drilled 1/2” holes in them.
Thanks for checking out my channel, Jaclyn. I love finding coins. Most of the time when I go detecting, I’ll be lucky to find any change. I mostly get pulltabs, bottle caps, can parts, and random metal bits. I’m normally out detecting for a few hours and I’ll stumble upon a tone or target that I don’t normally get. Sometimes it’s a piece of jewelry. Most of the time it’s bent bottle cap or crushed can. Lol. I’ve subscribed to you! I can’t wait to see the adventures that you’ll go on. Good Luck & Happy Hunting (GL&HH)!
I never use that detector before but I called it when you dump the can I was like that's got to be a soda can I got a Garrett Ace 300 I want to upgrade but I'm poor ghetto trash so I can't really afford to LOL life is sad
I’m getting pretty good at identifying the cans before I dig them. Practice makes perfect. 😂 I like the Garret Ace 300! I’m saving up to upgrade myself. I want to get into the water and be able to submerge my machine. Supposedly that where all the good things are. Lol Thanks for checking out my channel. GL&HH!
Csabo1725, thanks for checking out my channel. Flip flops and a plastic scoop are what I have for the beach. Not all of us can afford waterproof detectors, long handled scoops, and hip waders. I’m making the most of what I have and enjoying myself. 😂 Again, thanks for watching. GL&HH! Jay
Thanks for stopping by! By the time I’m done my pouch is more trash than treasure. It’s just as easy to throw it in the trash as dropping it again. I can’t leave sharp metal objects on the beach. I’d feel bad if someone got hurt.
Hey what's up Bro, Love UR Video, can you please help me out? I have the metal detector U R using, can you please tell me what's the best settings for wet sand and about 1 foot in the beach water? Thank You and God Bless!
Hey DJ, thanks for checking out my channel! When I’m in the water at the beach I’m in Beach mode and start with sensitivity on 5 (I adjust up or down depending on chatter but 5 usually works well). Just make sure if you do have chatter to use the Manual Tracking over the wet sand and then make your make into the water. I have a quick video on how to use the TreasurePro’s Ground balance/Manual Tracking if there’s any confusion on how to do it. It’s about a minute. God Bless, good luck and happy hunting! Jay
Hi Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by. The bungee is hooked to my camelbak (you can use a backpack or sling as well). I have shoulder, elbow, and carpal tunnel issues in my right arm so the bungee really helps out. Just make sure you use a bungee, strap, sling that is the right size for you and it will take all the weight and you can swing with ease. I’ve tried all kinds of slings from camera bag straps, duffel bag straps, and belts cross looped around my neck and shoulder. The camelbak and bungee, for me, was the most comfortable and practical. Plus I have lots of water to stay hydrated.
Love the Look to the left and Right when u saw the ring. Not obvious at all lol. Thats how u get peoples’ attention. U better work on your acting a little better
I have shoulder issues and I couldn’t swing for an hour without pain. I needed a way to swing without the weight of a detector. Bungee cord was the easiest, most practical, least expensive choice. I already wore the camelbak filled with ice water. Figured a bungee would hook onto the shoulder strap and onto the upper shaft. Easy peasy! Lol

Thanks for checking out my channel. The Whites TreasurePro is a fantastic machine. It does everything I need it to do with only two AA batteries. The 10” DD coil allows for depth and with great surface coverage. The TreasurePro’s automatic and manual tracking/ground balance lets me use it in highly mineralized locations like the beach in the wet and dry sand. I’ve taken it into the salt water without any issues. It’s not waterproof so the control box cannot be submerged. It is weatherproof and can be used in the rain. The controls and large display are intuitive. The TreasurePro is easy to use and accurate. It weighs only three pounds which means I can swing it for a long time. It’s a great machine with a lot of options. I got mine online. It came with a Bullseye II pinpointer and was about $370 at the time. GL&HH!

Thanks for checking out my channel! I have shoulder issues so the bungee cord really lets me swing longer. I hope it helps. You’ll normally get some chatter if you transition between wet and dry sand. Once you’re Ground Balanced walk parallel to the water and stay in the wet sand so you don’t have to keep ground balancing between wet and dry sand.

I just got the TreasurePro. What settings do you use for in the water and on dry sand?
I use Beach mode with a sensitivity starting at 5 and adjust up or down depending on if my machine starts chattering. If you start getting random beeps every time you swing use the Track function. Find an area where your machine starts beeping, normally in the wet sand with bands of black sand, and press the Track button so it reads “Tracking” pump your coil up and down until the beeping stops and your machine is ground balanced for the wet sand. I have a video showing how to use the Ground Balance/Tracking mode.
On dry sand I just use beach mode and start off on sensitivity of 5. You’ll normally get some chatter if you transition between wet and dry sand. Once you’re Ground Balanced walk parallel to the water and stay in the wet sand so you don’t have to keep ground balancing between wet and dry sand.

yea the mx sport does the same
The good thing is we don’t lose depth while swinging at a low sensitivity in the salt water.

Thanks for checking out my channel. I’m gonna be honest, I’ve only ever had three metal detectors so I can only speak on those three. I know that Whites Electronics and Minelab makes fantastic gold finding machines. At least that’s what the videos on UA-cam say. Lol
I wish I could help you more.
GL&HH!

I honestly don’t know. I’ve never seen them. Fisher does make fantastic machines. I wish I could help you out more.
