Edit: oh just to answer some of your questions-
The main story is still being updated! The global server is a year behind the CN server and that is still going, plot wise. Also the main story isn't like the dating Sim part of the game, the main story is basically entirely investigations for different trials. The different cards you pull from the gacha have the dating stories on them lol. Also marius isn't in the main story until ch 2 so if you wanna interact with him before then, you'll need to pull an SR or SSR for him 🫡 -a max level player

@@miohoshikawa8092it's a fun like daily thing to do! It's less work than genshin and the artwork is absolutely fantastic. Def beginner friendly, DAVIS (the little blonde boy), gives a tutorial every time you encounter something new and will usually walk you through it

Yesss! Me too! And yeah, Marius is absolutely my favorite! Everything about his behavior SHOULD bother me with how cheeky he can be and all, but I just can’t help but be hands-down in love. I’m saving up all my s-chips for his next magnificent card-I may end up just waiting for ToT’s 2nd Anniversary coming up though lol

As someone who is maxed levelled themselves and been playing daily since global launched, colour me surprised when I saw this video. My favourite is definitely Artem, a large majority of my SSR cards and MR cards are on him, but Marius always comes out of nowhere and hits my heart whenever he pulls the jie-jie card.

@@bhavya5692 If you try it out and find yourself liking one of the male leads, then just continue, if not, then you can quit. All card specific stories can be viewed online and all cards of the same rarity are equal, minus skills that the card uses. Just wait around for events and you'll slowly get yourselves a good deck.

Artem Wing. Definitely Artem Wing. For a while Tears of Themis kinda presented him as this shy awkward Mr. Darcy type of character. He's smart, successful, can sing opera, is very emotionally supportive, family oriented, can dance, he's rich, can act, he knows it all. He's basically an Ace or Jack of All Trades. But what separates him from the other boys is how in a realistic manner, he IS the standard partner. Vyn is manipulative and will use psychology (as proven in his story and cards) on you to get what he wants or lead you to the answer you're seeking, and the others I don't know much but compared to Artem, she (us/Main character) really shines with him. I like him because he helps MC, but he only helps to push her or encourages her and he's just beside you as a guide along the way so most of MC's emotional or intellectual development happens when she's guided by him. Which is cool and I love how she can depend on him so much!
Plus, tears of themis REALLY upped their game for Artem. His 2nd Anniversary Banner, his Gufeng SSR Card, His 1st birthday card, wings of exhilaration card, and also atmospherics. They're all so sensual that it convinces me that he's main character potential lol.
Even if Tears of Themis *might* lean into Luke being the "Main Lead" in the main story (even if they're all the male leads), I still believe that it's really Artem who's had a big impact on her (evidence is Artem's Main story chapters w/ Rosa (us)).
Anyway, that's for the rant. LOL.

I know he wasn't any similar to Artem but Like loves the MC and wishes nothing but happiness for her. He's like a dog who is loyal, protective and a tad bit possessive at times.

Vyn is perfect. He is mysterious and can be a great villain. Other MLs are handsome, but he is beautiful. He is like an onion, full of layers of mystery. I am psychology major too so I can definitely related to him.
Artem is totally green flag. You will be safe with him. Luke is like fluffy blanket. Warm and definitely safe too. Marius is so cute. I like it whenever he says jiejie/onee-san.

I was so surprised when I saw that you started playing. I've been playing this game for a month and I'm already obsessed! I'm wishing that I started playing sooner, but I never had enough room on my devices and it just felt weird at the time. However, this game has many of my favorite things: Romantic sub-plots, Greek mythology references, mysteries to solve, humor, and reasons to take out my tinfoil hat to theorize. Seriously, it feels like Christmas playing it, like it was made for my enjoyment. (Though I never expected to be the target audience of ANY otome game.) I've been keeping up with the older updates to the CN server because we'll eventually get those updates and I'm so excited to pull for the cards in July for the 2nd anniversary! I won't spoil them, but they are so worth waiting to pull! (At least to me!!!) I've never spent money on a game before, but now that I have a job, I might just spend money for that.
To answer some of your questions: You will be able to interact with the guys, just later. It'll be a mode you unlock. Yes, the game is updated with story, just like Genshin and Honkai Impact. The first two chapters are really for introducing the guys and getting your first impressions of them. You'll meet Marius in chapter 2. As for Raven . . . You'll have to find out who he is on your own.
As for which guy I like, I was first roped in by Luke. He's the MC's childhood friend and I really connected with that. He also reminds me of Tartaglia from Genshin. I always imagine his voice in English to sound like him. I fell for Vyn because I joined during the release of part 1 of his sweet chapter and you spend the first fourth of the game just talking to him about the myth of Pygmalion. Pygmalion is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE GREEK MYTH!!!! Anyone who wants to spend even five minutes talking about it with me wins my heart. As of late though, while I still like them, I've started having a soft spot for Artem. I was playing through his blossom-chapter-thing and he's just so endearing! I won't spoil any of it, but I just love it so much!!! It has to be my favorite out of all of them, to be honest. It makes me laugh, cry and yell at him through the screen. Usually only really good books make me do that, lol.
All in all, 10/10 game! I can't wait to see you get further in the game and hear your other thoughts on it and the other characters we'll meet! I'm currently in part 1 of Episode 6 (Which takes FOREVER to upgrade your cards to get to that point, but it's SOOOO worth it!) and I can't wait to see how far you get!

You'll get to meet Raven in Chapter 5 (if I'm not mistaken). I won't spoil anything.
My favorite is Luke ever since I first interact with him and my least is Vyn (I'm still scared of him and I don't want to go into deep conversation with him, just not my thing).
Luke is the childhood friend trope but there's more to him than meets the eye and it's always fun interacting with him.
I love the game but the most frustrating part might be the event-limited cards and badges (I wished I could have gotten the Skadi badge, it's so cute). There's a lot of event-limited cards in the game and they're so pretty that it hurts me to skip most of them bc of my lack of s chips fund T^T

I used to play ToT when it came out pre-registration, stopped playing cause omg the story progression is slow, and ofc the gacha drop rates sucked. I never got my SSR until I fully hit pity. 😭
