Thanks for your comment, Harry. Unfortunately the company that put my music on Itunes put their fees up massively - so I decided not to renew. I think that if you are paying more money to have music on Itunes than you make from it it's probably an idea to stop!!! It's not really the learning that takes the time to be honest, it's the arranging of melody, chords and bass line so that it fits into the smaller range of the guitar!

I purchased your tablature over a year ago, in hopes that I would one day learn to play this song. I just played this video for my three month old son, and he was rapt. I just wanted to say how beautiful this arrangement is, and that it gives me a quiet kind of joy to listen to. I don't know if I'll ever be able to play it, but it would be a lifetime achievement.
It's actually easier than it seems, you basically play the same 4 chords over and over again but with different taps, except the main solo and beginning (those are easy) if you've played guitar for a while you will master it in a week ;) Good luck!

Beautiful Les, thank you. You gave me lessons (I say 'gave'!) in 1991 when I was up in Fence Houses looking after my grand parents. You recorded one of my songs for me (Well it's a happ day ...!) I think the hardest part that I have, being self-taught, is choosing the right chord shapes to make this easier to play rather than harder. I think I just need to watch this over and over, and then practice and write down the hand positions to go with the tablature (which I purchased years ago, thank you for making this available).
I close my eyes to feel the sounds and it's like some kind of peace... then I combine this piece with the sound of the pieano on my head and it was like... I don't how to describe it, but I feel so good...

I've happily paid a few measly dollars for a copy of this tab. After seeing and listening to Les Cheetham's performance, I simply cannot see any other arrangement of this piece for guitar that comes anywhere near close to this superb thing. Well done Les!
