@@NgiamTeeEe find a project you want to create with code and seek advice from people who have built projects similar to that in the past. They'll give you the best advice You can pick pretty much any language online and learn the same fundamentals of programming, but it gets really boring and really stupid really fast when you dont know what to do with the basics. You will end up just watching a bunch of tutorial series and not learning much if you dont start with a goal
So vague, what coding should one learn? and to what extent?(how deeply should they go?) If its basic programming and you don't plan to be in the computer science field then its simply not worth your time. However no one has ever been hurt in gaining a new skill
Well, you can learn it out of your inquisitiveness. To me, you should learn to code simply to extend and broaden your thinking capacity. You don't have to be some sort of high-end coder but you gotta know at least the basics of how things are and operate.
hmm yes a video with 8,000 views is going to aspire hundreds of millions of people to learn coding to effect the working economy to bring down the wage of coders so he can hire a few website developers for cheaper, all part of his master plan, yes very clever you are.
No he gave an analogy in an interview that you'll get paid more even if you are a barista if you know to code because of leaving his coding job for barista.
By all means, dont learn to code. Its an incredibly useful skill, but you wouldnt want to play right into this guy's hand right? Youre too smart to fall for that. God knows you cant do *anything* with coding skills outside of a job
Learn to code is more easy than learning a language
As a developer, I agree and support his argument.
I'm not in this field, where should I start physically?
Html or what language?

@@NgiamTeeEe Code Academy is a good place to start. Python and the Full Stack Engineer courses cast a pretty wide net.

pick something and try to build it. google that sh*t
What type of code? Data science? App development? Web Development? Front end code? back end code?
physics, its the search for truth and the law
Bro there's a whole no code movement going on look it up
But you can't make new open AI with no code.
But you can't say Hello World with no code.
lol why
No code is coding with a high abstraction
yeah they are dumb
of course he wants more people coding so that they can bring down the wages for such jobs.
I like this comment!
He clearly said "not so much that you can become a professional coder"

Are there specific coding/programming teachings you can recommend Naval?
For children? Adults?
