19:00 Sadhguru said that there is practice in which by investing 15 minutes a day after 6 weeks a person can bliss out. Interesting that he didn't specify what this practice exactly consists. Making the audience thinking that the solution can be found only in his inner engineering course. Great selling pitch
Another reason could be, if Sadhguru tells, people just copy everything what they hear and try to do similar thing, once it doesn't work, they think that Sadhguru is fake or something instead of realising that they could have made some mistakes in following the whole process.
@@ipshitatripathy120 you don’t know the meaning of enlightenment if you’re saying that. According to you Naval is more enlightened than Buddha, Vivekananda, Adi Shankracharya etc?
@@ipshitatripathy120 Because you don’t understand what true enlightenment actually means. Sadhguru is an enlightened being like Buddha, Vivekananda and many others who have achieved the highest state of human consciousness-nirvana, satori, or transcendental awakening. Enlightenment is not the same as being intellectual. Look up the definition of Nirvana. While Naval is wise and intellectual in living a good life and building a successful business, Sadhguru has reached a different level of human evolution. I follow both, so I am well-informed on this topic. There’s a reason why Naval is the one interviewing Sadhguru and not the other way around. He knows the difference in their consciousness.
I also used to think all sadguru do is yapping. But his organisation is doing a lot of good work with the help of ancient yogic ways. He is not bad. Isha foundation is actually helping a lot of people.
Naval ravikant also experienced that out of body state. He did it by trying to be aware before sleep body sleeps mind sleeps but you will be aware that state out of body difficult but possible.
Because there are no straightforward answers. We look for simple answers to put our minds at ease: "oh rich people are evil and they are the ones destroying the planet" vs "things have gotten out of hand because we as a collective have made the pursuit of happiness through enjoying external things one of the most important missions of our lives". The former makes it easy to externalize the locus of control: to blame others and evade responsibility. But if we can truly understand the latter (and more importantly live by the maxims) then we can work towards creating a better planet.
20:02 it is interesting how Sadhguru answers the question about problems that he might face in his life as an opportunity to talk about his awakening and his naif goal of awakening the rest of the world, 4bn people. Humility should be his prominent quality
The 11th annual Asia Summit in Singapore this conversation was focused on the topic, "What role can inner and outer technologies play in crafting a conscious planet and creating more resilient individuals?". On the other hand, their own event described as Sadhguru was as exploring the nexus between technology and well-being. (lol is it an interview or it was a promotion? )
Both Naval and Sadguru are heavily influenced by Jiddu Krishnamurthy’s teachings. So I’m sure Naval felt happy listening to Sadguru as he talks in-line with that of JD.

Sadguru is smart, uses good vocabulary and has good theories on internal peace and happiness. But his methods ( Isha’sninner engineering ) are costly affair only available to rich. Don’t know how effective they are ? His media management , PR,this obsession to be seen with celebrities and “save the soil movement “($) etc makes his activities suspicious. Agree, without money nothing is possible but this goes against what he preach ? He blocked me on Twitter for asking these questions 😊
Have you practiced all his free programs? He has numerous.. Also to say Inner Engineering is for the rich is false. There’s constantly discounts being offered and full price is about $150, if all the free content has impacted you in someway why not invest in a program this man dedicated his life to create? He gives plenty to the real poor that you have no clue about in rural India. I’m sure since your speaking English can easily save up the small fee to purchase a program that would take you away from this negative mind frame and also in turn help the organization give to people who are actually in poverty
