U r d most under rated astrographer of youtube. Whenever we discuss about astrophotography I always talk about u like "Dude, check this guy." Keep posting man..awesome vlogs.
Amazing, Alyn, thanks for sharing this experience! And thanks for the 360 panorama! It felt unreal that Milky Way is so obvious there despite the bright Moon! Incredible work!
Ahh yes! You brought back the sky writing intro!!! My favorite intro. Amazing amazing stuff Alyn you inspire me so much! Loved all the footage you captured and I can’t wait for the book to come out!
Incredible episode Alyn and its fantastic to see you continually pushing the boundaries of your professional. Sorry to hear Ardrien could join you on this one but Im sure you he would have been chuffed for you to make the trip.
Exciting to hear you’ve got a book coming out in the new year. I’m hearing you talk in December and was wondering if you’re likely to have any early copies on you?
i think the flare is really cool! im just an enthusiast, but some of the flaws you described in the Canarias videos were unnoticable or made the picture cooler imho. happy accidents :)
I was blown away by the intro with you waving your arms around orchestrating your signature, and then things just kept getting even better! Despite the Moon the pics are great. Worth the effort with the altitude issues I hope? What an experience for you, thanks for taking us on the journey with you so we can experience it too....but without the discomfort! hehe :)
Great video mate. Oxygen deprivation is one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had, so great work pushing thru the torture that it is and sharing this wonderful site with us.
Hey Alyn. Have you checked out the Starwatcher AZGTi and the Synscan PTZ app? Fully automated panoramas, mosaics , star tracking etc. Definitely worth playing with one at some point.
Chance of a life time! Real big shame for Adrien he woulda got some cracking footage to. All images were fantastic. Time to go view the virtual image thanks!
That was indeed incredible. That sky was so clear - at least it looked that way to me - and the stars so bright! Wonderful! Your time lapse? ... AWESOME, even with the flare from the moon. For me, I liked it. After trying to shoot Orion in 10°f weather with 20mph wind, I feel for you. Were you able to keep your hands from going numb? Lol. Any problems with gear? Great stuff! Well done! Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure.
Seen ALMA, during a private group tour (fund-raising for ALMA). I expected small dishes the size of pick-up trucks. Was I stunned & ignorant. Makes ya really think what signals they've found, that aren't being published. The entire ideology of ALMA, is to detect signals that current large dishes cannot. Oh. It was very frigid, on the top. About -16 Celcius. Calm wind.
Alyn, amazing as always. Dude I'm looking at adding a 3rd body to my inventory (already have a7s2, and a7r3), with all your extensive travels and conditions, have you had any issues with the weather sealing on you a73?
must have been an absolutely amazing experience ! ps: have been some years ago on the aiguille du midi by cable car, the mountain station where mountaineers leave for montblanc. it is also at a bit more than 4000m asl. I was very surprised by the difficulty to breath and the amount of effort it took just to climb up some stairs. the photos with the telescopes are surely out of this world, the 360 pano is simply spectacular ! how did you create it ? a shame you didn't have a drone wth you or were not allowed to fly it there. that would also have been something. anyway, well done !!
@@AlynWallace lol true, for some reason I didn't think of that. in the video it looked as if it were bright day, maybe that was it? there are night videos of drones, although in a city, which may not be the same as 'one of the darkest places on the planet' :)
Thanks Alyn for visiting us! The work you do is really amazing! 📡📡
Alyn, you are my favorite foto-artist, my favorite technician for all things earth to sky and my favorite adventurer 👍❤
Wow! The things you do for your art! Amazing photos.

Spectacular
Thanks... nice Video, good job at this altitude! 😀the Intro is amazing...!
Wow! Awesome! The shots don’t even look real, like something from a Star Wars movie. Damn!
Great video, at 9:39 y'all listening to Last Kiss by Pearl Jam, great band lol.

very good once again ,,
Such an amazing experience! Brilliant images.
i think the flare is really cool! im just an enthusiast, but some of the flaws you described in the Canarias videos were unnoticable or made the picture cooler imho. happy accidents :)
Haha a man raised with Bob Ross. Yeah, the timelapse is alright-ish but that flare meant I couldn't use the images as a star trail so that sucked
truly amazing
Absolutely amazing stuff..
Amazing, really enjoyed it.... Wow!
That 360 image is amazing!
What a location! I really think you did make the best of it, despite being disappointed by the flare from the moon.
I liked that moon flare, very close encounters of the third kind. Fantastic vlog loved it.
Amazing

Wow! If anybody deserves an opportunity to experience that it's you Alyn. Superb images as usual
Amazing video! Such a cool place to shoot! That moon was brutal though, the high altitude def helped there.
What a place to experience! Thanks for sharing with us :)
Awesome. I have tried to get into VLA, not the nice response to my request. Love the work.
Great video mate👍🏻 some absolute beauties! What an awesome experience
Amazing video

Epic!
Lucky bugger, looks insane place to go
Hey Alyn. Have you checked out the Starwatcher AZGTi and the Synscan PTZ app? Fully automated panoramas, mosaics , star tracking etc. Definitely worth playing with one at some point.
Not yet, bit chunky and fiddly for me. Also doesn't rotate about the no parallax point so no good for the kinda panoramas I do
Chance of a life time! Real big shame for Adrien he woulda got some cracking footage to. All images were fantastic. Time to go view the virtual image thanks!
Hi. Will you test new tamron 17-28, im considering to buy one for milky way?
Insane! You do the filming with the Sii?
More Vlogs Pls It's Not Enough :D
Love you brother
I love your intro

mkii Sony battteries are pretty pants in that kinda temps, other than that all fine. Numb fingers are the least of my worries.
Regardless of photography, I bet it was an amazing experience.
Yup, absolutely!

Re the oxygen tank how many hours did you have it on?
About 3

Thanks :) I use ptgui for my 360 panoramas (and no use flying a drone at night anyhow!)
