You hit SOOOO many great truths in this podcast. To your point about being taught both sides... I wish I could share this story in greater depth, but I was raised in southern Louisiana in public school from 88 to 2001. School, and town, were almost exactly half black, half white. Same for the teachers, administration, down to the bus drivers and janitors. ALL of my favorite teachers were black. Especially in grade school. They were soo caring I couldn't have imagined disliking someone for their color. We were all taught both sides and all raised as equals. I was always proud that my generation, even in the south, had mostly gotten past racism. And what's happening now is undoing all of that and it makes me very sad.
Are you around your 40s? It was the same back then here in Australia. The problem is we won. Racism isn't a problem in any way like before. So now how do you get power? Ideological racism. Now that shit never ends. Eternal power
Man…. Pretty much exact same page for me. Grew up in CenLa in a town that mirrors your description. I graduated in 98. I felt like we were past a lot of this then. I feel like we’ve gone completely backwards since then. Make no mistakes, I’m 100% aware that White Privilege is a thing, institutional racism exists etc. But I’ve always kind of gravitated and felt more comfortable around black people, ESPECIALLY in my age group. Again, I know racism is real and still exists…. But now I almost feel guilty by simple association of skin color. I’m white, so I’m a bad guy. And there’s a force out there that wants it this way. Definitely makes me sad. In 1998, I never imagined just how bad things would be for all of us in 2022. We’ve done the exact opposite of “advance” as a species.
Maybe why we see this is because lots of schools and areas have one race majority. If any other. We all grew up together and that was what we learned life was. We just need to mix the kids together. Tim is dead on accurate talking about the problems and consequences of when the wealth gap between the top 1% and everyone else become this big. If you continue to just let cities and working people losing jobs eventually that will catch up and the whole economy will be in a mess. which is our current situation
I saw another video in which he equates wealth to political influence and the dangers of concentrating that power in a small group of people that are out of touch with those at the other end of the social and economic spectrum. Tim is hilarious and incredibly intelligent
The distance between the 1% and everyone else is not important. First of all its called the paredo distribution or Mathew Principal and it cannot be changed. What is important is where most of us are in relation to poverty. Which is well above it. The 1% are not cartoon villains dude. For the people who worked to get themselves in the 1% without any advantage you would actually be the villain being envious of something you didn't work to get.

Its a type of social credit where you hurt someone's image or credibility with the public. And, yes, as we've learned, it has spread to the government. What do delta 8, gambling, and capitalism have to do with not getting kids educated?
@@TastyChevelle go ahead and give kids weed i wanna see what happens, lol

Kids in my little brother's school were smoking theirselves stupid on the juuls just for clout (social credit) now imagine 1.5 g delta 8 Afghan Kush disposables
Dont you know weed makes you more productive and career focused? Joe Rogan says so. There arent any dropkick loser stoners, thats a right wing conspiracy theory
Andrew telling us that it's not a problem that America hollowed out every city except 2 or 3 is truly perverse... very ugly and out of touch
yup. 110% true!!
I'm an Independent Latino, Thank you Guys!!! ❤️❤️ 24:56 Thank you Andrew I love how you analyzed it through. Just awesome.
Tim is dead on accurate talking about the problems and consequences of when the wealth gap between the top 1% and everyone else become this big. If you continue to just let cities and working people losing jobs eventually that will catch up and the whole economy will be in a mess. which is our current situation
Is that intentional ?
Yea his "jokes" seem extremely close to the mark

"There are so many brilliant women out there. None of them are on the view."
-Tim Dillon
yup. 1000% right!
The greatest thing about Tim Dillon is that he never laughs.
Holy shit. Mind blown. I have never heard Dillon laugh to this day.
He chuckles occasionally
On the old patreon episodes he laughs a lot. He kinda lost that😂
This is serious
He laughs all the time...
I've learned through watching several of these podcasts that Andrew is actually a pretty out of touch guy
I like the guy but I agree with you
SO out of touch bro. Either that or he's INTENTIONALLY shilling. Like connect some fkn dots bruh!
I like that he doesn't get defensive and angry when Tim tells him what's up though
For the record, Tim stole all these TRUTH bombs from Q and put his own comedic spin on it whilst talking shite on "qanon"(media coined term) to gain notoriety and take the credit.. There is no "qanon". There is Q, and there are "anons". Q is legit, many anons are not. And he KNOWS THIS. Shill grifter.

Regarding the Whoopi situation..when your show is the very same entity that panders to and gives so much power to cancel culture and censorship culture, they will inevitably do the same to you. We live in a world where cancelling and censorship has gotten so out of hand, that someone cannot even say something without malicious intent, still apologize, be corrected and educated on why they were wrong, but then STILL be fired/suspended. It's ridiculous and it HAS to stop.
Amen to this. They are basically ambassadors for cancel culture.
Only smart thing Obama ever said was that the left is a circular firing squad. Well that and don't underestimate Joe's ability to f shit up
No one’s being canceled stop being mad about nothing
@Gus Fring you sound like a leftist propagandist. Whoopi called to censor Joe roagn a day before her own stupid remarks. So for the sake of karma, cancel that bit.ch.

I think its ironic that the cancellers done up and cancelled THEMSELVES!!

I absolutely love Tim and Andrew, but it made me uncomfortable to watch how they had this conversation without him… while he was present…
Yeh totally weird.
Akaash hasn't got a lot to contribute. Tim Dillon is too sharp
Akaash is lame and he doesn’t have original thoughts or opinions he’s borderline social justice warrior and opinions he doesn’t agree with from a person who is smarter than him makes him uncomfortable

You all miss how social credit score affects the schools you can go to, the loans you are allowed to get, and if it is low enough, mandatory visits from government officials who will come and have a 30 min to 1hr long meeting once a month or once a week to tell you how to be a better citizen.
Cancel Culture is basically trying to implement a social credit system.
@@rynecology not at all? Cancel Culture is people trying to hold other people accountable, Social Credit Score is the government holding people to state standards
do you know how many people there are vs government officials. how many houses a day would you think? 365 days a year.
@@Plamler cancel culture is people trying to take away someone's source of income/career based on what they perceive to be socially unacceptable behavior/saying or doing something that hurts their feelings. To prevent that person from making money to buy the things they need. To take sponsors away from people like Rogan or Tucker Carlson. Its a type of social credit where you hurt someone's image or credibility with the public. And, yes, as we've learned, it has spread to the government. The white house administration now taking aim at these people (more recently Joe Rogan) or anyone else they choose to label racist/mean/evil. Kinda like Trudeau is doing with the truckers. Maybe it doesn't have the same OFFICIAL holding, but unofficially it can hurt you by tarnishing your image.
