Good to see you again ! A buddy of mine has been loading and casting for his shotguns (m4). Went out a week ago with him to test loads.. was a great time.
That's awesome! I'll be showing more shotshell reloading on my channel to and may even get in to making my own shot. Lead is hard to find right now though
Awesome to see you guys get into sporting clays... got into it with my son a number of years ago. Unfortunately, some of my other shooting activities took a bit more of a back seat due to it, but absolutely no regrets... love it! Went so far as to pick us up an Atlas wobble thrower to practice with.
I am doing almost identically as you are. The only difference is I am using Alpha small primer brass and cci450 primers. Peterson is superb and the Alpha 6.5CR small primer cases are as well, so far. I love my FA primer seater and my Universal Seating Die set. I get .00005" OAL error most of the time as well and I attribute that to the Sierra MatchKing bullet more than I do with the die. The micrometer on mine is very accurate and easy to read too. This setup is a very solid handloading setup!
UDATE: 6-23-21 Hello Mr Vaughn, how are you sir! I hope all is well! Just thought i would take a minute to stop by in here to tell you that i DID buy the Frankford bullet seater yesterday. Set up was so stupidly easy. I like it, it works very good! And you`re right, the mic on it is dead nuts accurate! Great channel brother, you never disappoint! Keep them videos rollin!
As always Mr Vaughn, excellent video. Can not wait to see your next video on how the shoot went with this load. I was checking out the FA seating die kit for a bit, i liked what i saw. So far every one i`ve looked at, the quality was outstanding. I think i may just go ahead and buy the FA seating die mainly because its NOT a one trick pony. I`ve got a couple other calibers i`d love to use it on. It`ll save me money, lol.
I've had the F.A. Bullet Seating Die set for almost a year, and that's the only die that I use for rifle loads. I recorded a video, comparing it to the Hornady micrometer Seating die, and I couldn't find any difference in concentricity. Looking forward to seeing what criteria for entering the Wheeler Fat Wrench giveaway. One of those things on my wishlist that I keep putting aside for other more important things.
Great Vid! Good to hear you are doing well after the wreck! Can you do a video eplaining how the universal die set works with different bullets in the same caliber? Runnout comparison (Sierra vs Hornady vs Berger?) Thanks and have a wonderful memorial day weekend!!!
@@aminkhashm One bushing/sleeve is always stored within the inside the die body. And Mr Vaughn is correct, it DOES include the .308 bushing/sleeve. Every set i`ve seen so far, the .308 one was inside the die body when you open the box.
As someone who just purchased a new Bergara B14 HMR 6.5 rifle, I'd be really interested in seeing your barrel break-in technique if you guys thought to film that part. Stumbled onto your channel a few months ago when I got into reloading and have really enjoyed your videos. Thanks for keeping them coming!
Great to see you again, this load looks fun.
Thank’s you just convinced me that I can’t live without th FA bullet seater. 👍🏻👍🏻

Looks like a good seater.
Great video my friend. Keep them coming I think you have convinced me to buy that universal seating die. Thanks again.
Nice! I have that same die but have not used it as of yet. Thanks for posting on YT!

Welcome back. You were missed

I'll see what I can do!
When are you going to get the next load development video out?
Which brank shell holders do you use with the FA Univ. Seat Die?
Ah yes the mythical powder they call H4350. Great vid.
BR-4 primers, cant wail until I can get them again....
And BR2s...
it says Universal Bullet Seating Die but I don't see 308 0r 311 is that covered by .325 cal
There is a .308 in the set
@@vaughnprecision nice!

I have one of those bullets eating dies like you got there and I love it
What barrel twist you run these ? I have 1:8 but I think there bullets recommend 1:7.5... be curios if I could shoot em
Thanks
The barrel I have is a 1-7 twist, yes they recommend a minimum of 1-7.5 for the 150gr
Nice!
