I had to learn mostly by doing so i felt quite often dumb on the ice, even taking class. You way to break down jumps make it easy peasy, i do a lot of yoga and it just feel the same =D
For me even with the videos it’s still the same. Like she makes it looks so easy and breaks it down to the simplest steps but if I try them on ice hahaha yeah mostly still a failure.
I'm quite awful at it but consistency and body awareness might be the key, each time i'm making progress it's when i practice daily, even just a little. Like, even after almost a year of pandemic break with only bodyweight stuff at home - and no jumps, it gave me the S with no efforts (it didn't like me before!) and i wasn't far from the A. But then i had to take a break again Also, usually people have a better leg and are more comfortable on either the toe, or the edge, and there are so many diff skills in figure skating, some tricks must be easier for you :)
Michelle - you have no idea how much I rely on your videos- it’s the absolute best. I have a coach but watching and practicing your off-ice tutorials is such a great add-on to my training. I can’t thank you enough!!
You are freaking amazing!!! I have been looking for this exact thing to help me with this. I'm a lefty so having a video I can watch a thousand times saves my coach so much trouble 🥰🥰 and OFF ICE practice too!
ive been backspinning in my kitchen everytime i get food so, ive accidentally figured out how to do a lutz and ive been wanting to do a lutz for ages, cant waait to try on the ice
Not pique - coup de pied. Which unfortunately my coaches have gotten after me for, (habit from ballet) saying my foot must be beside the other and hips in parallel, closed.

So excited that you are motivated to get this jump :)

Why did I think doing a lutz was with the opposite foot of what you normally tap do a flip jump with, this made it so much clear, thank you❤️
Love this ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
YAAYY! So glad you enjoy.
This is great! I’ll be working on this!

Dear Michelle thank you so much for sharing so amazing technique. Is it the same for skating? I mean, with wheels?
Sooo helpful!! Thank you. Could we discuss where on the blade (forward, middle or back) our weight is assigned at different points?
