    How durable are the skates if you keep you pad clean but use them a lot (now, 1year later) ?
    edit: double comment my bad the first one disappeared for me xD

      Also I did take a lint roller to it everyday before using it

      yo did the same thing but then i felt like it wasn’t enough. My big but kind of cringe tip: Put masking foil on you pad whenever you don’t use it and change the foil if there is dust on it next time. (not resource efficient/ good for the environment though) 🥲 xD
      But ever since then, it remained really fast just as it was in the beginning/ after 2 weeks. Still have a wardrobe full of artisans though 💀

    is the otsu smoother in texture than the hien? it looks like it but before i go through with it i wanted to make sure lmao

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  2 роки тому +3

      Yes it is quite a bit smoother!

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  2 роки тому +2

      It’s in between the smoothness of the zero and hien. Considerably smoother than the rough textured hien. Still a little textured but not nearly as much as the hien. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend gaming with an arm sleeve. While my arm is perfectly fine with a hien, I still wear an arm sleeve to prevent dead skin from getting into the pad due to the rougher texture.

    I have superglide v2s on my Superlight 2 with an artisan hien soft. I was looking into the tiger ice for a slightly more controlled experience while still keeping some speed. Would you recommend these? Also were these the v2 tiger ice skates?

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  7 місяців тому

      Sorry, I was logged into my other channel and didn’t see this til now! That would definitely be a good combo with the tiger ice v2. Honestly I’m not sure if they were the v2 Tiger ice skates or not. But if you wanted a bit more speed with a little more control, you should try the tiger ice dots. The less surface area of the dots creates less friction giving you more speed, but because they are dots it also allows you to push down onto the mouse/pad for a bit more control. You should definitely give the dots a try IMO. But the tiger ice v2’s will definitely pair great with the hien!

      @@notblazedfordays9536 I've been seeing the dots around a lot I'll have to give them a try. I just got the tiger ice v2 and its such a better experience over the superglides on speedier pads. So much less jittering. I actually prefer them with my hayate otsu mid so I think this'll be my setup for the time being. Thanks for the info!

    Are tiger ice feet good on the Hayate otsu? I’ve been using glass skates for a while and they’re decent.

    • @notblazedfordays9536
      @notblazedfordays9536  2 роки тому +3

      Yea, they’re definitely the only PTFE that I like but they will definitely work well with the otsu. Glass skates are better suited for the hien or a cordura pad. I personally prefer glass or ceramic dots over any PTFE skates but it all comes down to personal preference and the only way to find out what’s best for you is to try it.

      @@abdalrahman7204 what mousepad are you currently using is what I was wondering. If you want to have the best balance of control and speed I would say go with the hayate otsu. If you want more speed then control then I would go with the hien. Hayate otsu will probably be your best bet or if you want even more control then go with the zero
