Hello. I followed these steps. And when I add the password to the wifi. It shuts the module off and it turns red. Then it says the password is incorrect.
But what do you do if it is blinking green? It won't allow you to change wifi, when you click the option it it just says "Discover Device", but it never can
unfortunately while attempting to connect our module to our new wifi it won't connect after several attempts and we are definitely using the correct wifi password as it is used throughout our house on various devices without issues.
Appears different from my newer Blink cam and module. Software is different too. Also if a camera like this is not “on” it is still consuming some power to keep the motion sensor running.
I did exactly what you did to change the Wi-Fi on my Blink Sync Module 2. It is on my 2.4 WI-FI. My Blink Outside Cams are connected “ETHERNET”. They are battery cams and do not have any cables or cords attached. How do I change them to the 2.4 WI-FI? Thanks!
I cannot get my blue light to stop blinking. The grren light is steady. My network is screwed up, and I'm trying desperately to connect my blink system HELP!
One of the two cameras I have suddenly stopped working. It has a red light blinking sometimes on the motion detection thing. I have changed batteries to new one and reset the module. The other camera works but this one still does not. It sometimes says "Camera is busy" or "Live view failed". Any suggestions?
You use to be able to change it from the blink servers to your own Wi-Fi and then your USB clips would show up immediately after recording. Now for some reason it doesn't record to usb immediately. So frustrating!
So let’s say i wanna sneak out and i want to unplug the wifi and unplug that main source does the app get a notification? and does it still record a motion sense no right?
Doesn't work. Say's incorrect wifi password. I'm 100% certain the password I entered was correct. Entered the same password on every other device in my house.

It can’t recognize my new WiFi modem. It keeps on trying to sync with Blink____ instead and can’t! Complete fail.

Try changing location bring it closer the base, see if its a range issue.
@@ISAACTECH I have tried that also. Nothing. Someone told me that I had to reset the camera. I didn't know that one could reset it.
@@hotelphotography Little late but: Make sure you are using alkaline batteries, like Duracell, others dont work sometimes..
Thanks so much I can’t access any of my cameras or doorbell 💕✝️🦌🇺🇸🏡👴 don’t know what’s wrong!

I want to de-commission the sinc module
My internet went off and was off for a couple of days. it wouldn’t scan and said number was not associated with this unit.
So let’s say i wanna sneak out and i want to unplug the wifi and unplug that main source does the app get a notification? and does it still record a motion sense no right?
The app will get notified that its disconnected from internet, it will not record motion.
your sinc module is not connected with USB, so no local videos
I changed my wifi password and I can’t reconnect to my sync module anymore
Mine wont connect after adding the pasword on app for my wifi but wifi is working green light keeps blinking whats going onnn
What if you don't own a paper clip?

I can’t log in to the damn thing
Thanks but you talk to fast.
how do you find your wifi network password ???? thanks
The WiFi password to your router should be located on the bottom or rear of the router.
This system is shit My won't change to another net work setting and I have followed all of the directions. This camera system sucks.
this thing is crap.
