it says its as hard for a rich man to enter heaven as it is for a camel to jump through a eye of an needle,ok some people says it means a eye of a barn ok well have you ever seen a camel jump off of all fours so the bible says its impossible for a rich person to go to heaven
His offense at Texas Tech was the most electrifying thing I've ever seen to this day. We were getting there at Mississippi State. Hail State, Coach Leach.
A true one of a kind human who developed connections and special relationships. A football legend but also a legend of a human that will be greatly missed.
Mike Leach was An Original. He was a trailblazer. A daredevil football coach, pirate, philosopher. He will be greatly missed. College football won't be the same without him. Rest In Eternal Peace Coach
What a memory to have. Dude was one of a kind. We all want to leave our Mark here. No doubt Mike did that- and then some. Godspeed on your next adventures Mike. You are already there. A Pirate to all of us.
I woke up that morning and saw he had passed. Tears. Besides the coaching, he just inspired thinking out of the box. And to always be ready to learn something new.
Leach the reason I became a fan of TTECH and college football. Everyone did a boring run game. Not this pirate he swung his sword and won games even when down by 3 Tds. What happened with his firing was awful F Adam and Craig James. I definitely remembered that Alamo bowl.
There was a made up story by a player that claimed Leach locked him in a shed so you must be thinking of that. He has a pretty solid reputation as a person and coach.
that was all bullcrap. Craig James an espn person and craig james’s spoiled son complained about getting punished and Texas Tech administration majorly majorly over reacted and fired him. I was there at that time. The majority of students really hated the dbag Meyers guy who was the TTU athletic director in the pocket of the spoiled rich boy who was like, a third stringer and his ESPN talker daddy who had previously been exposed for taking bribes at SMU in the 1980’s. Then that crappy athletic director turned around and hired Flommy Flubberville to be the next coach and everybody hated him too. I say this as a TTU alumni who loves TTU but really hated that shitty athletic director who did that to Leach.
and because Craig James was with ESPN, ESPN took his side and made it seem like people turned on Leach which is probably what you heard when in fact it was a shitty spoiled third stringer rich boy and his espn daddy and a Texas Tech administrator who had it out for Leach before the supposed incident anyways and used it as the excuse to over react and fire him
It was like politics. 90+% loved Leach. 10-% were pious prudes that didn't understand his antics. We depended on a court of law to right the damage. The crooked judge we waited so long for to make things right chose to side with the elitists. Our opposition (Hance) ran an insurgency, stacking the deck with new, salacious material regularly. A lot of people didn't know what to think. Tell me the increase in Hance's net worth after he fired Leach until he retired?
I doubt he got jabbed. He was the ONLY coach to speak out against the stupid masks...i heard he had pneumonia. Probably didnt want to go to the doctor after they revealed themselves to be crooks
Our man Mr Leach was not a coach. He was a philosopher. I stumbled across his Bigfoot and alien discussion on a radio show one lonely night and immediately admired the guy. I'm not a sports fan, but I love my man Leach - the modern philosopher.👍🫂
Mike Leach was one of a kind. Gutted that he’s gone. Swing that sword in heaven, Coach!

I’m so glad Washington state and M state enjoyed him as much as we did at Tech. The pirate was un matched

He changed so many people's lives in a positive way.
He was such a great guy. We are gonna miss him so much and I’m a Clemson man. But I loved Coach. He was one of a kind 💔

Probably the only coach that i would give a second thought at their passing. Original, inspirational, Mike Leach.
This is great, what a guy
Man I am going to miss this guy
I’m Speechless. Sad. What a life!
Guy was an absolute genius
It brings me peace to hear nothing but good things about this man. Rare
Texas tech stood out to me with Mike leach. The way he built that team is stuff of dreams

identify opponents strengths and avoid them and find weaknesses and exploit them. the art of war.
Seem like a very fun and goal driven man. So sorry for your loss.
Brilliant man. We dearly miss him at Mississippi State.
I want one of those posters for my party cave. Blessings to all that knew and loved him.
Coach Leach. He kept busy and accomplished more than people could dream
That would have been an awesome class to take.
A guy who knew how to swing his sword. Always flying the pirate flag. Godspeed, Mike. You'll be missed.
I’m so jealous of the kids that got into that class. This is a huge loss.
You know that’s a great idea. It looks like they have video of it. If they filmed each class it would be great to offer it
I don't know why this one is hitting me as a child I used to watch Texas tech all the time even being a razorback fan this guy was a pure legend

A national treasure. Gone too soon. Hope they allow swords in heaven.
Wasn't it like 10 years ago everyone turned on him because he was a mean coach lol. Sad that he had to die for everyone to love him again.
We MSU fans loved him dearly. Sail high, pirate.
