Trivia: Marshall beating Notre Dame and Georgia Southern beating Nebraska were on the same weekend in 2022, along with Appalachian State beating Texas A&M in College Station. That was a great weekend to be a Sun Belt football fan.

There are a lot on this video that absolutely belong, but a lot that don't either. Just because someone beats Alabama doesn't make it the biggest upset in CFB history. It just makes it a good win. Especially when you've got the team beating them as a top 25 team.

Yeah, I mean TCU lost nearly all of their starters and no one had any tape on Colorado. And officials wouldn't call any penalties on Cu in the first half. But I'm not bitter about that. 😉
Baylor vs #1 Kansas State in 2012 should’ve been on here. Game was a stomping and Baylor was like 4-5 unranked at the time while k state was undefeated
my son's senior year in HS, they were in 4th place with 3 weeks left and had 3 opponents that were still undefeated to end the season. they beat the first one 28-3, 2nd one 45-10, and last one 28-27 to end the season 9-1 and won their conference and make the playoffs. the last game they were up 28-21 with 35 secs, but the refs blew a call that allowed the other team to score a TD at the end. the other team decided to go for 2 instead of 1 pt to win and son's team intercepted it in the endzone.

The FSU loss to JSU is definitely up there with some of my most painful memories in sports. I remember thinking we needed to go searching for another coach, but I am so thankful we held on to Coach Norvell. He rebuilt our program from the ground up! I hope he sticks around for a long time.
I’ve played, coached, and watched CFB for 20+ Years and The 2022 Alabama vs Tenn game is hands down one of the worst officiated games I’ve ever seen at any level. Tenn got away with: - a brutal Targeting hit on Bryce - several blatantly PI’s - a stop with 12 Defenders which if called would have been 1st and Goal at the 1 - A reversed Fumble right after Alabama created a fumble and scoop and score on the Previous drive putting them up by 7 late. - The same drive as the previous BS was a game ending interception at the Endzone Pylon which was returned 40+ YARDS before suddenly until the Referee who was standing under the Goalpost threw a Flag for “Pass Interference”. The side judge that was 2 yards away from the interception didn’t throw a flag, but the Ref that is 25 Yards away from the play “Horizontally” waits until it’s returned 40+ Yards to throw a flag. Another one that could be added is the Utah win over Alabama in the 2008 Sugar Bowl. The Utah Utes ran a no-huddle offense and led 21-0 in the first quarter before Nick Saban knew what hit him. EVERYONE was saying that Utah had been lucky all season to end up at #7 (and they had had some lucky breaks), and that Alabama was going to wipe the floor with the Utes. VERY satisfying as a Utah fan to see all the Alabama fans just stunned, and to see Coach Saban so flummoxed. Those were days never to be forgotten. Cheers.
If I’m correct too Utah was the first Group of 5 team to go fully undefeated too. That 08 team was magic. One of the beast teams Utah’s ever had. They should’ve had a shot at the title that year.

The Arkansas -Texas game wasn’t that big of an upset. When Arkansas beat #1 Texas 42 - 11 in 1981, I think, that was a big upset. When Arkansas beat Oklahoma in the 1978 Orange Bowl it was a huge upset. When Arkansas beat Jimmy Johnson’s Miami team in the mid 89’s IIRC that was a huge upset. Whoever put this together isn’t qualified to state these are the greatest upsets ever as their knowledge is limited. There are other booger upsets than these Arkansas upsets. Just thought of another 2 big Arkansas upsets. Texas A&M in 1975 and then Georgia in the 1976 Cotton Bowl.

I was at Surfside Beach, SC. It was labor day weekend. When Michigan got the big pass we all thought they would escape with the FG.
