I recommend also taping the window so you dont get it on the window as well, but thanks for the video, my leak looks exactly like yours, hopefully this solves it, Ill check back when im done
Thats because the leak is likely not from the roof to skylight but where the acrylic on the skylight is, or the condensation gutter is. This technique used in the video will not help many out unless the roof was put on incorrectly
Nope! I even wire-wheeled all around the base of mine skylight that is on a metal roof and it leaked. Applied a few coats, let it dry and even topped it off with expandable foam. Leaks!
Hey I am happy to say there’s no leaks still. There has been a few heavy rain storms since this video. Can’t say how long this will continue for but right now 3 months and still no leaks!
yeah i just happen to find a way to fix it without having to pay a contractor hundreds of dollars. Its over two years now and still no leaks. If you have other solutions, thats cool let us know.

the challenge is finding exactly where the leak is. its not always obvious

Used it, it did not work!
key is to locate the leak which could be feets away from the drip
@@ThatGuyReviews use pure silicone - unless you want to repeat the same repair again, again, again ...
@@lylejenish23 guess i have been fortunate I have not had to reapply it. Had two update videos since, almost two years and still counting
This seems like such a shitty way to do this…
