Drew Carey would eventually find his way to the Tonight Show in 1991 as well. His routine was good enough that he was invited by Johnny Carson to sit by his desk and chat for a few minutes, which was huge for any comedian in their first appearance. During that conversation, he brought up his Star Search appearance a few years prior.
It’s an amazing coincidence that Brad Garrett & Ray Romano both were on Star Search before the show Everybody Loves Raymond became a huge hit of 9 seasons! Love them!❤️

You left out the fact that Kevin James had another hand up being good friends with Ray Romano, even sleeping on Ray’s couch before he made it.
I always thought of Sinbad as a humble person from the first time I saw him on star search and everything else he did after, one of my favorite comedians!

Adam Sandler was in five films before and during his time on SNL. Going Overboard, Shakes The Clown, Airheads, Coneheads, and Mixed Nuts. He then did his first string of successful films... Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, Bulletproof, The Waterboy and Big Daddy. He also was involved with Dirty Work in the role of Satan.

my mom and dad saw Sinbad in Windsor, Ontario at Caesars Windsor and they were in stitches
It's sad what has become of Sinbad. He had a major heart attack in the spring of 2017. Has not recovered and was unable to walk at one point. He is pretty much retired.
Britney had such a powerful voice, so amazing. It's too bad, that management and producer made her sing like a "baby" when she had such a rate and volume.
U can't ask who's our fav when it's to many great ones on ur list. First I was like ok ima comment Sinbad, than u sais Kevin James, martin Lawrence, dave chapelle, Adam Sandler... Like c'mon idk anymore lol. U can't make me pick, I won't do it 😂😂😂

What's happening now is not forgettable it's iconic and people remember it. They use to show on Tvland and there are memes and giphys from it. People always mention it .
It's a sequel to What's Happening but no Fred Berry. Gave us Anne Marie Johnson who joined In The Heat Of The Night with Carol O'Connor after What's Happening Now was canceled.

Thomas the Rescue Engine? Use to watch that as a kid. I'm old enough to remember Shining Time Station. Thomas debuted on that show then was spun off to it's own program.
