Islam is teaching domestic violence against women ( Quran 4:34 )
And the god of islam thinks that women are "farmland" ( Quran 2:223 )
Muhammad was teaching that women's mind is "deficient" ( Bukhari 2658 )
Muhammad could f "any believing woman" ( Quran 33:50 )
Muhammad even fucked a 9-year-old child ( Bukhari 5133 )
He had sex slaves ... he even raped married women. ( Q4:24 + Tafsir Ibn Kathir + Sunan Abi Dawud 2155 )
And of course he attacked innocent people and kidnapped the blonde women ( Tafsir al-Tabari 9:49 )
Considering all of these... yes... you made a HUGE mistake.
And you better don't read about these.
Don't ask questions!
Just wear your hijab and shut your mouth!
Otherwise the iranian police will beat you to death!

Love from Mauritius. I totally understand how it feels because my mom and dad are reverts and both of their families are non-muslims. It feels like they judge you and think that covering and fasting are too extreme. Sometimes it feels like talking to a wall when you try to explain. I really love the way you show patience and try to slowly educate her about Islam. ❤ May Allah Subhanah Wa Ta'allah give you strength and let you persevere, sister.

I m writing this for telling you it's not necessary to peel the skin of tomato all the times but if you want to do so there are some other ways like putting it in the freezer and then freeze the tomatoes . It will make it very easy to peel the skin off but still it will be uncomfortable to handle the tomatoes as they will be so cold .
Overall it's easy as compared to the hotter one .

Assalamu alaikum sister. Its not only people who are really religious who only have dates and water. Maybe you've seen it differently but the majority of Muslims do break their fast with dates as that is the sunnah of our prophet sallallahualaihiwassallam, or water if there are no dates available. After that eat whatever. The actual iftar is the dates you have to break the fast.
It's brave of you to make a curry on your own for the first time but it looked delicious. You can add plain yogurt to the cooking which would reduce the spice or have it at the side to eat with the food, which is more delicious.
I think she meant those who ONLY eat dates and drink water for iftar and nothing else

Please make it easy on your mom by sharing these tips: 1. Eat a large handful of nuts preferably cashews in the AM; 2. Eat a lot of cantaloupe or honeydew in AM it will help retain water in the system longer; 3. take Electrolytes supplements to avoid headaches, muscle weakness (guess what’s in dates: electrolytes). Fasting is extremely beneficial for the body: see Nobel Prize winner for confirming atrophy and cancer treatment using fasting to help reverse cancer.
