Yup I just stopped in Poway today myself to do this same thing on my way back to Vegas. I actually stopped at Rancho Bernardo HS though because that's where Tom met Marks sister, and eventually Mark and Scott Raynor. Then I went to see Toms house, Marks house, had a meal at Sombreros and spoke with the employee there who told me some stories about the guys, and I even went to Escondido to see DML studios even though it's a coffee shop now, I was willing to go in and buy something but they had just closed 15 minutes ago :( pretty cool stuff
Right on, that’s awesome! I went by the studio where Blink filmed “Buddah” in El Cajon on Saturday. Place was a dump and a bunch of strange dudes outside so I scrapped it. Another spot to hit is Lou’s Records in Encinitas.
Sorry I had to pause the video really quick at 1:47.. $31 Dollars?!?! Lol that's freaking ridiculous!! But if i could Live anywhere in the country, I'd definitely live in San Diego.. Anyway.. lol. Back to the Video 🤘
For real! A bit pricey even out here. Cheaper places and better for sure, but had to try it once.
@@kvon432k ahhh man, don't blame you!! If you (or anyone lol) goes there because of Blink.. Yeah, you have to get something.. I live in the Midwest, which anywhere you go is getting expensive now but when you said, it came up to $31 I almost spit out the Mt Dew I was drinking.. haha, but you're right about the portion and it did look good. Haha!! 🤘

Their first real concert was at Soma San Diego, Soma is still there but it's in a different location now from where they performed at regularly from 93-95. I thought about going to the original location but I think it changed a lot because its a small building now.

I worked in Powys, Ca from ‘87 to ‘92, and lived there from ‘89yo ‘90,.. it’s a nice place if you don’t mind being to far from the beach, But my point is sombreros, gives you way to much filler like lettuce and beans, Now being born and raised in San Diego and living on Carney side of burritos, Roberto’s is the best!!! Hands down no competition

To be honest they have a sombreros in Arizona and it was the first time I tried their food it was actually very disappointing is there a Taco was plane no cheese no sour cream no lettuce Annie no seasoning on their meat and the chips were not authentic tasting either they kind of tasted stale I don't know if I ordered wrong or not but whatever it was very disappointing❤❤❤ but other than that I do love Blink-182 still to this day because they made it possible for me to feel comfortable in my skin and accept my disability and be able to run with it and create dreams for other disabled people and teaching the world along the way that disabled people are among everyone else just living in their life and I'm glad to see Tom DeLonge back with the band❤❤❤
Well said! I can honestly say I wouldn’t have went by if I wasn’t in the area or a Blink/Tom fan as well. It was cool to see the places they grew up though for me. Thanks for the comment!
