I remember when The Weather Channel debuted on cable. I would watch it for hours, drove my wife crazy. I say that to make a comparison. Your live feed coverage of these storms is by far the best I've ever seen.

I was watching Ryan from Iowa during the tornados last week, switched to local cable news with Ed Wilson as the line approached Des Moines. Cable weather was unwatchably slow and late. I couldn’t believe the difference. Cable weather is in quick decline along with their dead cousin cable “fake” news

I used to look forward to thunderstorm until the next block over was destroyed. Didn't even realize how close it was until the next day. People who have never gone through it don't understand. The sound it makes, the sound of the house creaking in the wind like it's about to be sucked away. Not a fun time. I'm sorry to everyone whose had to go through that experience, and I totally feel your pain. Looking to move out of the south, somewhere west in the next couple of years. So I live in northwest Minnesota. We just got a ton of snow and it is still snowing. Before the Monday storm came the weatherman out of Fargo said we are only going to see 4-6 inches. We ended up with 13 inches. Ok. Last night he said that we are only supposed to see a trace to 2 inches and so far today we have 7 inches and the snow is still falling! I'm listening to you Ryan.

The soundings for this first round for the slight risk could pick up as the event gets closer. I'm interested in seeing what the soundings are after this sytem moves on by. Because this reminds me of 2011 when we had the multiple rounds from the April 25th- 27th 2011 event. It destabilized the atmosphere considerably for the main event that had the massive outbreak on the 27th of 2011. I know that event was off the charts on that outbreak. I think its something that needs to be paid attention to. I will definitely be watching the live stream. Of course this is in my area for both events this week. And it looks like more storms will be hitting one right after another if the models stay along the same look.

That is interesting to know. I wasn't paying that close attention to the details of what set up the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak, but one of those EF5 tornadoes grazed our subdivision in North Alabama that day and our local area was devastated by all the nasty weather that day. We now live a little north of that area, so this is good insight for someone like me. Thank you for sharing!

@@oneofmany7051 Yeah I live in Lauderdale county. And when that storm hit Hackleburg, Phil Campbell, Moulton, through western Morgan county, across the Tennessee river into Limestone and Madison. I remember watching WAFF48''s coverage and the weather camera on top of the radar off hwy 72 just east of Athens caught visual of that massive wedge 🌪. Like I said, the event from 2011 was off the charts with the soundings. I think what may happen with the Wednesday the 29th system is the supercells may be held to 1 or 2 long track rotating supercells that could put down a high end tornado. But it's when this system gets kicked out with the more massive storm on its heels. The atmosphere will be very buoyant and unstable cause there won't be any stable air moving in behind it. That low level jet scares me on the 1st. Those winds will be screaming out of the southwest. So only time will tell as to what severity we will be looking at on the 1st. The biggest difference I can tell with the system in 2011, and these that are coming. Is the 2011 outbreak was a negative tilt trough. This is going to be a positive tilt. Still a dangerous storm

After the quad state tornado a few weeks ago...I don't want to get my weather anywhere else. You 100% nailed the report on your live coverage broadcast, and I was able to wake up my family from all around Nashville to get them in their safe spots with time to spare.
