It makes me smile every time he goes "alllll right" at the beginning and leans forward. Am I the only one that loves that? LOL
I have never seen a more friendly, intelligent and correct meteorologist. Thank you for what you do!
@Justin BAMA someone always has to try to knock a man down. Dudes been hammering down trying to share as much info as humanly possible to damn near the entire continent and obviously is creating quite a positive experience with his viewers or he wouldn’t be blowing up the way he is. Finally seeing someone passionate about the weather that doesn’t promote the mainstream propaganda and fear campaigns is a fresh breath, instead of one of the “meteorologist” from the networks that create false narratives by standing in drains to make the rain appear deeper, or have a guy bent down on his knee shaking a stop sign to show how powerful the hurricane winds are a là Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams.
Go watch those _real_ *meteorologist*
@Justin BAMA Neither are the ones on TV. They pretend to be, but they suck.
@Justin BAMA Go away. Any monkey on TV can read a radar. Please stop talking to me. Buh bye
I teach a class of kids with autism. Two of them LOVE weather, so we watched your forecast yesterday. They were so excited!
I love having a weather channel that explains in terms my students can understand, and they were excited that Monday they'll get to play in the snow.
@Lynda Faye they don’t care what he says, they like the show. We weren’t supposed to get snow here on Monday but the latest forecast says 6”. I hope not
@Lynda Faye why do you keep spamming your opinion on several comments? Used to be a good source of information? He's still the same source of information. Slow the audio down for YOU if he's too fast for YOU instead of telling others what to do. 🙄🙄🙄
@Lynda Faye You can slow down the speed of the video if you want to hear him speak slower. Takes less time to use your playback settings, then it does to type out a complaint.
You dear sweet weather explainer have blown your subscribership out of the water in a VERY short time. Congrats to you and you deserve it all for your expertise on weather AND your ability to put it on our level of understanding. Let’s face it, most of your followers are not meteorologists and understand very little of the weather language BUT you have a gift that so many of us “everyday weather” users have been searching for for many a day. I am so grateful for that gift of yours and appreciate all your expertise…and humor!!! Ryan, my absolute appreciation to your wife and little one for sharing you with us because we truly do need you as do they, not going unnoticed the sacrifice your family makes each time you spend time in prep and in taping your take on the storms as they come. God bless your family and keep up your wonderful vlogs!!!:):):)

Hey, y'all! My whole family goes by your forecasts now. They're accurate and... you're a whole lotta fun to watch. You make keeping up with the weather entertaining. You do us proud, fellow Kentuckian!
Same here! An overseas friend of mine turned me on to him on the first of January, and I followed that stream all day. I celebrated the moment he told us western Kentucky was clear of tornado danger for the day
I agree! The best weather channel out there! God bless you and yours.
Just what I want to hear from my weatherman, "the storms gonna act like a bouncy ball and move somewhere up the east coast." I mean with accurate forecasts, I mean, "nowcasts" ,like that, it's hard not to watch. 😆🤣😂

As a huge weather nerd and have wanted to be a meteorologist ever since I was 5 years old in 1994 this is by far the best weather channel on UA-cam to ever be uploaded. Keep these awesome videos coming man
Looking forward to the live coverage tomorrow. When ice forms, phone lines die. That stressful to elderly trying to stay shut in.
People should check on their elderly neighbors.
Thanks for your efforts.
I'm from SW Wisconsin and this storm brushed us yesterday. We got 2" to 3" of snow and some pretty good winds. I saw the video of what was going to happen the day before, and it went down pretty much exactly like you predicted here. Good job Ryan!

As someone that lives in the area around Nashville TN, it always amazes me how I-40 tends to be the line that separates the rain from the snow, the snow from the ice, the severe wind and storms from calmer rain and thunder.
I know! Right?? Isn’t that weird? 😂
Could it be the line between country and western?
This reminds me of that storm back in 2005. I was living in the midlands of SC and that ice storm was no joke! Beautiful but wow! What a mess!
IT'S RYAN HALL Y'ALL👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Ryan, yours is the only weather forecasting I only listen to these days (and that is saying alot as I'm a big fan of Leland from Nashville Channel 5). Rochester, NY here. 6 degrees today and then warming up for the snowstorm on Monday. We had a major ice storm in '91 with people without power for weeks. If you are in the path of the ice storm, please prepare for it. You have no idea what may be in store for you. Thank you for all your hard work and excellent forecasting. I will be checking in with you tomorrow.
Im from central Indiana and yes i sure remember that ice storm!! Our power was finally fixed and turned back on by a crew from Pennsylvania. Big slushy mess is pretty accurate here in south central Missouri (Dixon, Pulaski County). It snowed all morning but the ground seemed too warm so sidewalks and roads melted pretty quickly. In eastern PA, crazy, snow, wind, ice, rain... I think I'll just stay home Monday
After watching your video yesterday, I told a lot of people today about the donut holes and why our area wasn't going to get as much. You explained that really well and made it make more sense as to why we aren't expected to get as much here in my neck of the woods. It happens quite a bit here and snow lovers get frustrated due to the bubbles we often get stuck in. I myself am ok with not getting a whole lot so this forecast makes me happy! Lol I hope you and Stephanie and Echo are having a great 2022 so far and thanks again for all you do to keep us aware and prepared for whatever comes our way!
Raining here in West Plains, MO but it's snowing like crazy in Mountain Grove, MO, which is only about 40 minutes or so from us.

I just found your channel last week I absolutely love watching you you explain everything in detail. You are what’s been missing from weather on television for years. Since I’ve been watching you you have picked up over 50,000 subscribers in a week or two so I know I’m not the only one who likes you. Keep up the good work and I have spread your channel around and helped the best I could as well. Fellow Kentuckian here sayin yours is THE go-to weather source. Even The Weather Channel seems to follow you a day behind most times.
Nice report. It's the first time I've watched your channel and you do a good job - very professional. I live in that bottom corner of N. Carolina around the Cape Fear River and I'm happy to see that all this icy weather is going to stay north of here. The "European Model" which I use because it tends to be more accurate on condition - less accurate on timing, but the most accurate on hurricane track predictions, says the high here tomorrow (Sunday) will be 60 ... stormy, but 60 degrees. Occasionally (VERY occasionally) it pays to live on the center lane of the hurricane highway.
In this part of N.C. the low pressure that passed through three days ago had stronger winds than predicted for this one - 30 mph with 50 to 60 mph gusts. I watch these wind storms carefully because I live on a sailboat. This should be a cake walk for Southport. N.C. Stay safe and prepared everyone.
Well, I'm completely depressed now. I was hoping for snow, a lot of snow. Now, maybe 6 inches but it will pretty much all be washed out by the rain that follows. That sucks on so many levels.
When we lose power here in southern Virginia tomorrow, I won’t be able to hear you any more. I am storing up hope and wisdom now. Thank you.
I kept hearing noises like someone was in my house when I watched this. Then I realized I was hearing your hands hitting the table. New headphones have great sound! Big relief there. Anyways thanks for the videos! Always watch every one! I try to spread the word about you when possible as well.
Ry, you've nailed this storm from the very beginning. Some will get heavy snow, but it will be washed away and I'm OK with it. You should be trending and going viral allover social media. Thx again Ryan.
He’s great but no met nailed this storm from the beginning lol. No model did either. The last 3 days have had an entirely different forecast for the big cities than the entire week before. 😭

Same 🤣 our knoxville neighbors are out here doing the snow dance hoping for a blizzard and I'm out here hoping to goodness we don't get anything 🤣🤣 the plateau is so complicated when it comes to weather of any kind.
Such an amazing and absolutely awesome forecaster. We always wait to hear your forecast. Thank you for all you do!💖🙏💖🙏👍👍👍
Thank you for your work. I depend on you more than my local to look into the future of our weather.
Outstanding play by play again! You do not talk too much!! Keep these videos coming!
Love your videos! Just wanted to pop on here and say that it's 1:30 in the morning here in Upstate SC...AND I SEE SNOW!!!! (Finally, I've been waiting all winter).
Anyway, thanks for the great content you put out! It has really gotten me into learning more about the weather!
