The Dual Controller feature is by far the coolest feature for me. I like my ultra wide monitor when it comes to doing related work. However I feel that dual screen setup is also good for some specific works that are not related and do not necessarily need back and forth switching.

Wow, great to see Pinoy reviews here on youtube! Was searching for reviews before buying it on Lazada. Hey Noel, I heard that the KVM only works if one of the inputs is displayport. Does this mean I won't be able to take advantage of the KVM if I have both HDMI inputs?
Thanks for watching! Good question. I suspect that the KVM or Dual Controller is IP-based, hence the need for the software running on both computers and the requirement that both have to be connected to the same network. The display port / hdmi combo is more for Picture by picture. So you may run KVM /DC but no side by side display. That said, I haven't tested this yet and is just a theory. I can try it out tomorrow!

Hello! Sorry for the late reply, I was out for the holidays. It's pretty straightforward. Just download the PBP software, connect each computer to the monitor (one via HDMI, another via Display Port) and make sure each is on its own network. It should without hitches!

Appreciate the kind words. 60hz is more than enough for gaming. 144hz is really more for competitive gaming for first-person shooters. 60hz has a 16.6ms delay between frames while 144hz has only 6.94ms, hence less lag. That said, it's partially also subjective-meaning it's wonderful to have 144hz but also depends if you can physically tell the difference.

Hello, I am quite interested in buying a wide monitor. Is it possible to tell me what is the real difference between the LG 35WN65C-B 35 "and the LG 35WN75C-B 35" and which one is better? Thank you so much.
I have 2 questions on this monitor. First I do own it, 1. How did you get audio to come out from the monitors built in speakers? I used an audio Jack from my Mac mini to the back of the monitor, then went into Mac preferences for sound and switched it to the display and no sound. Second I have my Mac mini plugged into the usb c port and a PS4 Pro plugged in with HDMI. When I turn on the PS4 pro why doesn’t the monitor auto switch to the device I’m powering up?
1.) The audio jack at the back is for output. I have my speakers connected to this. To use the monitor speakers, I use a usb-c to HDMI. 2.) I'll check on the switching later. But if I remember correctly, I just manually selected input.

Would I be able to plug in 2 separate machine's, have them both show up using the PBP features,but, have a separate KVM switch plugged in use the same keyboard and mouse across both machines. The reason is one is a work laptop and they don't really approve of any 3rd party software, so wanted to check if my using a manual switch only for keyboard and mouse sharing would work with having both screen outputs from each machine visible all the time using PBP (do the machines need any 3rd party software to just be 'visible' on the same display?). In reality if both machines were plugged in and I could see both machine desktops on this single display,to use the mouse from one machine to another would involve a click / button press on the KVM switch to quickly switch between which machine I wanted to control. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

I don’t want to do any scaling since I want the real estate out of the ultrawide monitor. Under those conditions, do you think the text is still comfortable to read (without head leaning forward)? Hi Dahlia, it would be ridiculously small. Can't even read while leaning forward. With wider screen comes higher resolution, so the font would be smaller. That said, the whole point of more real estate is you can fit more of regular viewing in your monitor. Why shrink the font when you can fit everything at sz 12, 100%?

How do you mange the sphere led light of LG 34GN85B. I can't find a software to download nor my LG 34GN85B monitor Menu has an enabled "power LED" feature under general !!
How do you keep the lid closed on both laptops and start up windows on both laptops the next day without opening both laptop lid. Not that I am lazy ,it's that both laptops are on a dual vertical desk stand and it's plain silly to have to remove both form the stands just to turn on.
I think you can go in the bios and turn on with ac power. So after you shutdown windows at the end of a work day, unplug the ac power. Next day plug the ac power into the laptop and windows will boot up.
Does the curve still throw you off when editing photos? Planning to get a curved ultrawide because I game but I keep reading that the curve gets annoying for media work (photo and video editing) they said.
Not at all. As I mentioned in the video, it doesn't distract me from my work, which is video and photo editing. I understand the concern but it really doesn't matter. This monitor is superb!

@@NoelGuevara Well, I found the Mac Dual Control application on the website and installed it. I set up my M1 Mac Mini as the main computer, and the 2019 Mac Book Pro as the second computer. I was able to use one keyboard and mouse to control both computers, however, the PBP monitor option didn;t show up on my monitor menu. So I guess I got a model that doesn't support PBP display. The second computer is connected to the monitor using USB-C while the main computer is connected by a normal HDMI cable to HDMI 1. I don't know if there could be an issue with that, since I think I heard somewhere that the second computer needed to be connected using the Display Port. LG 34WN80C-B
How would be sharing the whole screen with this monitor on MS Teams, the aspect ratio being 21:9? I had a 49in LG ultrawide with AR of 32:9 and texts were very tiny even after scaling down heavily.
I probably wouldn't recommending showing the whole screen using MS Teams! Won't it be better to summarize spreadsheets into manageable chunks of information instead and then laid out on a powerpoint slide?
@@NoelGuevara I work in Accounting so often we work with raw data instead of summarized ppt. I ended up getting the 34W80C and figured scaling to 175% at 3840x1440 kinda solves the problem.

@Apaar Arora Thanks! You know I can't remember but I think I tried iPad + my Macbook Pro and it worked. IPad via HDMI and MBP via display port. The software is really only for Dual Controller-using one mouse for both. The function of displaying from two sources is on the monitor itself. But let me test again this weekend.
I just pulled the trigger on this monitor. Came back to this review after lazada took my money for 24.5k pesos +1k cashback. I hope this is worth it hahahaha Will be using this monitor for video editing.
@@NoelGuevara got a single dead pixel on the top. Weird power management too as it tends to turn on even with my mac on stand by. Other than those, I'm super happy with the colors and performance of this monitor. Great investment. I got better at color grading too lol.
I bought one back in may and everything went great until I watched my browsers maximized or some bright content with lots of white: the right side of the screen has a very noticeable yellow tint. If you watch the same content, in both sides of the screen, it looks like 2 different monitors. It's unbearable. I paid like 1.000 dollars (in my country) for it, so I returned it. For that ridiculous price, I won't stand such a thing. I read that most ultra-wide LG monitors have this uniformity problem. I wish I knew earlier. I don't recommend this monitor. 👎

Agree with both. PDP specifically is a useful feature when I livestream and would need to operate two workstations with one keyboard and mouse.

In theory it should work with any VESA mount. I'm not familiar with the lg monitor mount though so please take this with a grain of salt.

How would be sharing the whole screen with this monitor on MS Teams, the aspect ratio being 21:9? I had a 49in LG ultrawide with AR of 32:9 and texts were very tiny even after scaling down heavily.
I probably wouldn't recommending showing the whole screen using MS Teams! Won't it be better to summarize spreadsheets into manageable chunks of information instead and then laid out on a powerpoint slide?
@@NoelGuevara I work in Accounting so often we work with raw data instead of summarized ppt. I ended up getting the 34W80C and figured scaling to 175% at 3840x1440 kinda solves the problem.

Could you advise if it is possible to use dual controller to connect “a laptop and an iPad” ? (there is no software download for “onscreen” app for iPad)
@Apaar Arora Thanks! You know I can't remember but I think I tried iPad + my Macbook Pro and it worked. IPad via HDMI and MBP via display port. The software is really only for Dual Controller-using one mouse for both. The function of displaying from two sources is on the monitor itself. But let me test again this weekend.

@@NoelGuevara got a single dead pixel on the top. Weird power management too as it tends to turn on even with my mac on stand by. Other than those, I'm super happy with the colors and performance of this monitor. Great investment. I got better at color grading too lol.

I bought one back in may and everything went great until I watched my browsers maximized or some bright content with lots of white: the right side of the screen has a very noticeable yellow tint. If you watch the same content, in both sides of the screen, it looks like 2 different monitors. It's unbearable. I paid like 1.000 dollars (in my country) for it, so I returned it. For that ridiculous price, I won't stand such a thing. I read that most ultra-wide LG monitors have this uniformity problem. I wish I knew earlier. I don't recommend this monitor. 👎
