- Today we open the last product in the Speed Duel line. Containing over 180 cards, this box comes with 8 premade decks featuring characters from the Duel Monster Anime. Each Box also contains several secret rare cards from a set of 30.

Speedduel was fun man,and still is！i pull out these boxes for quick maches with more casual yugioh fans & its a good time.
Shame it was shut down but i really hope they make a couple formats that allow lower power cards so more cards see play,
And answer: Yes Speedduel cards can be used in the main game but only speedduel cards are allowed in its own format ,
(tho i ignore this rule for my houserules & throw in regular cards that are OK in this lower power format)
I'm hoping it'll come back at some point. I found it to be a fun way to get people to at least try the game without overloading them with some of the more modern mechanics.

Bruh this is how i know your not an anime yugioh fan nor play the mobile games. Speed duel is just duel links but the physical route. If you don't play duel links. Its because duel links is far from speed duel and no point to distribute speed duel physically just download the duel links app. You need to do your homework before copying other youtubers when doing card openings man tcg players do your homework please.

This argument doesn't make any sense... If an option to play the game virtually invalidates the distribution of the physical game, so why play the regular tcg when you can simply play Master Duel??
Also the state of duel links right now is a big mess, the power creep is just insane and Konami keeps on releasing broken skill cards.
Having more options to play the game is always good. I play Master Duel and I still collect my physical cards. I own every box of speed duels and play it occasionally with my friends like a cube format or we play the alternative formats that came with each of the specific boxes. So I'm glad that Konami releases alternative formats for us to enjoy.
@hique. Stfu with this I play master duel bullshit you tcg players always spew. Master duel doesn't have enough content unlike duel links. Duel links has events and story lines from the anime if your a fan of the anime ppl will prefer duel links it's literally speed duel even in the app itself it has a label called speed on it in the card boxes they even have rush duel. If you like master duel good for you but what you just wrote was you just trying to sound like your smart because you love master duel. That is good that you like master duel I'm not saying master duel is bad but when tcg players don't do their Yu-Gi-Oh homework your gunna get shat on by veterans who knows more. Just because you play a card game and can follow a recipe/ directions doesn't mean you know everything about Yu-Gi-Oh shit Yu-Gi-Oh has way to much lore . I love the OG anime. So you can prefer either duel links or master duel but Konami realized speed duel physically isn't going no where because ppl collect the TCG&ocg cards more. The sales just wasn't there for them to keep it alive period.
