Hey Rich what do you have your flap settings at for a spektrum radio as in the throw percentage
I dont have the radio with me at the moment. I use abut 10° to 15° for takeoff & 30° to 35° for landing.
I just recently purchased this f-18 it has a 1750kv OutRunner I'm currently flying it with 5,000. how much more flight time do you get with a 6000

I want one badly. Hopefully very soon! But yeah I'm definitely going to go for the high speed high performance version. I do like your modification of white paint mod for the booty. But yeah I'm definitely glad they be fixed the elevator issue!

Ciao ho collaudato l ' f18 qualche mese fa ma dopo circa 1,30 si e fermato in volo , i servi funzionavano ,ed è caduto. Ho comprato una fusoliere nuova ,sono andato in volo nessun problema ho volato alla grande ,dopo qualche giorno sono andato in volo, terzo volo, ed e succesdo la stessa cosa come il primo volo motore non rispondeva ed è caduto. Ho cambiato la ricevente dopo il primo crash, le batteri sono nuove,potete consigliarmi il da farsi? Grazie

I put an 80mm in mine, was afraid it wouldn't slow down enough for our runway. Now I'm wishing I didn't. Nice as always Rich👍

Looked nose heavy inverted... Have you tried going more aft?
I will often fly with a slightly forward CG for greater stability... it is just my preference!

How did you fix the flaps issue?
I wired them directly from the receiver by bypassing the blue box.
Most blue boxes are good, some are better off bypassed:)
@@RCINFORMER thank you Rich, it was on sale here on Australia so I had to get it. It looks like the one I got is already the one that includes the high performance motor and upgraded elevator. Your flying inspired me to buy this one , you made it seem very smooth 😊 I'm getting an as3x receiver in it, as it's my first pnp, don't know what to expect. Hopefully not too much scarier than flying the twin 64mm a10 or 70mm f16 Tb.

....are they put on with screws or glue ?
The wingtip missile rails i think they are held on with 2 screws from memory, would have to check to confirm
@@RCINFORMER yes, and I compared to the real full scale plane and they are rails to which missiles can be attached, that is why they looked odd to me - no missiles were attached.
