Here is the sign on version of O Canada (With Glowing Hearts, 1979), although clearly the tag at the end is from later. This came from a WKBW sign on from 1991.
That's from the RCMP Band indeed. (In fact, they recorded about three or so different versions of this - one of them is an entirely different arrangement of the anthem.)
Does anyone know who recorded this version of O Canada? I've only ever heard it on WNED's sign-offs. I know WNED's SSB was recorded specially for them by the BPO, but have no idea where this version came from?
This was when themes were great and displayed country pride.
Canadians are often proud to proclaim their anthem to be one of the most.................. well, I'll leave you to fill in the blanks!
