There is no explanation why they are all suddenly lost their mind & dont know about the girl, everyone forget her with no reason. But in some scene the boyfriend was struggle to keep remember his girlfriend, everyday he forget her but everyday he managed to know her too. So the boyfriend tried to memorize every moment with the girl, he captured, writing some note just to remember his girlfriend name, but still he forget her someday. So sad man.
