current joys make me cry and reminisce about my relationships and the lover i’ve never had
I reflect on these memories I had shared with others with denial and ignorance, only highlighting the euphoria induced during specific occasions with them as opposed to reminding myself of the blaring complications that were intermittently presented throughout the relationship, which I may add inevitably contributed to the downfall of things. I never payed much care to those indications and cues, I would disregard these unpleasant thoughts due to desperation. Now I'm infatuated with some other girl, and hopefully things pan out well this time around.

Yea can someone help me I’ve seen movies where I feel like that, one movie for example is the movie called daises 1966 and I feel the same way for that movie
I’m sure we all have this one person in our life; the one who came into it unexpectedly and who just stayed, not in a way that it brought you fear or a sense of uneasiness but rather peace and guidance. That person constantly walks in and out of your life, nothing is ever planned with them but they’ll always be around, you’ll always remember them for the fond memories you guys built together and lessons they taught you, and they always come back around, they could leave for a couple days, a couple months, a couple weeks but in the end the love still remains.

I met her beginning of my senior year. I called her blondie because she loved dying her hair anything but blonde. She was a wild card and loved to be free. I was more introverted and kept to myself but she opened me up. She knew I had feelings for her but never wanted to be together because she hated herself and didn’t wanna hurt me. Which I understood. But this girl will never understand how much I love her. I’d buy her food every Friday because we had first period together and she’d never eat breakfast. She lost her knife before spring break and I worried about her so I gave her mine. She’d have withdrawals and I’d be there for her. People would talk because she did stuff in the past and I didn’t judge. Maybe we were both a little broken but that’s why we needed each other. Someone that’s completely whole can’t be with someone broken because they just wouldn’t get it. That’s probably not true but that’s what I think. We never got the chance to be anything more but she kept coming back. Kept talking. Kept smiling. So I knew on some level she always cared for me like I did her.

He's a very, VERY cleverly presented villain, and that's why it confuses a lot of people. He's the main antagonist, not the knight in shining armor.
IN THE BOOK HE LITERALLY ADMITS HE LEFT HER THERE BC SHE WAS SAD AND SHE BORED HIM WHEN THEY WERE TALKING ON THE FOITBALL FIELD AND HE DECIDED HE DIDNT LIKE HER ANYMORE. OMG IT MADE ME SO UPSET

There’s a comment here about their blondie, so here’s mine.
Well she wasn’t my blondie, but I was hers. In reality, she was the opposite of who’d you call blondie. She was a tomboy to her very center, with boy short brown hair. There’s very few words to perfectly describe her, I’m still trying to find them. She said she looked boring, and everytime I wish I could just lend her my eyes, to show her what she looks like to me. She was so perfect in comparison to the world that everytime we got close , I would tell her. “Youre out of my league, in case you’re wondering.” Then she would look at me with these astonished eyes, kiss me and say “I think it’s the other way around, Blondie.” With those charming eyes and stupid jokes, I fell every day. Every text and conversation had me more in love with her than the last. I thought I knew what love was but her? She showed me what it really means to love someone more than yourself. Not just checking in on them, not just giving them the last slice of pie because you care. It’s wanting to be with them, all and forever. Its wanting to know them better than you know yourself, because she’s all you need really. It’s the thought of not being together for the rest of your lives sounding nothing but wrong. it’s sunsets not looking the same, and songs sounding slightly different, every time you’re apart.
So maybe she wasn’t my blondie, but I was hers. Maybe that’s all I needed.

Coming back from the holidays where I met a guy with whom we became friends instantly. We've never been lovers and I knew it doesn't make any sense since we live on different continents. During these 4 weeks, we told each other everything, laughed and spent time on the beach. He opened up to me by himself, he was always calling me 'super cute' and admiring publicly. Touching gently my legs, as if it was not meant to mean anything but giving me the feeling of a deep connection that grew between us. In the meantime, he had a short romance with an unknown girl and I finally understood I might be jealous. But we never told each other anything straight. A beautiful friendship and connection I haven't felt for a long time. When we were saying goodbye he was hugging me and kissed my neck, as if it was not meant to mean anything, again. But now I have his sad sight in my head. And wonder. And see him teaching me how to dance with the music coming from the phone on an empty street at 2 a.m. Still, I am grateful I met him and that I played my role of Eponine.

this song is on a next level nostalgia, takes me back to the times where i didn't think about drugs, had no stresses, no exams, parents who weren't dissapointed, parents who were actually proud. Just makes me wish I could go back and fix my mistakes, make it so now feels like then. I miss it so much.

I believe Coppola (the director) wanted to show how men and especially young men often idealize women. Throughout the movie we see the boys dream and spy on the girls without ever really getting to know them. But that was the point, not getting to know them, and in doing so avoiding to humanize them and see them as they really were.
He left her in the field because after having slept with her he finally saw her as a human and not a manifestation of his own made up desire of her.

Lux Lisbon and Trip Fontaine. One of my favorite movies of all time. I can't believe it came out in 1999, whew, I'm old. THAT'S depressing.
I've been dealing with some stuffs lately and probably it has something to do with my emotions. I don't why but I often feel sad and it sucks cause I can't put it into words. I can't quite describe it. I feel like there's so many reasons behind it but I can't figure out and it also sucks cause it really feels heavy deep inside. The feeling that I can't share it with anyone cause even I don't know why I'm feeling this way. Tbh, I sometimes feel like I'm alone. But I wanted to use this time to thank you Cyborg and also to those other music channels. I'm thankful because of your channel, I've discovered so many songs which I think makes me feel better whenever I feel sad. Especially the songs from current joys. I find them so relatable that whenever I would listen to them it just makes think about things so calmly and peacefully and it's really helping me out whenever i'm trying to cope with all these emotions. Although I haven't met you yet, I know that you're a great and wonderful person and I want you to keep that in mind.

Haven't even seen this film and I'm in love with it. Edit: just watched the film... am saddened. I feel the sadness and beauty of experiencing something you’ve longed for deep in your bones. You’ve experienced it and it’s gone- similarly to how by the end of the movie all the sisters are gone.

Trip didn't love Lux. In the end of the movie he said he experienced "love" but the reality is that he has only experienced lush, or the idealized version of Lux in his head and he has never realized that.

I met this one girl, I still remember I was over by some friends and she was contacting me on instagram. We wrote alot and my friends were shipping us lmao. I forgot about her a lil time because I found someone I fell in love with, he broke my heart more then anyone could ever do, anyways she was there for me everytime she was going thru the same thing I was doing. It's so crazy because we both share the same heartbreak and she she's such an beautiful soul she cares about how much I ate, If I even ate everything she makes me so happy and I hope the feeling I got now won't end soon even tho we live 6h 28m far away from each other but god had a reason to put us that way together I never thought I could have such an good relationship to someone and feel so good by an person that far away. I'm so happy finally after all this months/years being depressed I think I found my home.

@@Camryn.0 so all the girls are under very strict parenting and they had ONE day to go to the dance and have fun, but the oldest one didn’t come home and so after that the parenting got even stricter, they weren’t even allowed to go to school anymore, and all the sister did like a pact suicide to like escape their parents

I met her a in the winter she was amazing. Before I met her I didn’t really feel like I had a lot of meaning to my life. She let me know it was okay to feel a lot of the things I do. She was so open to all my hurt and pain that I had experienced in my life and gave me some of her joy. She took me in and then lightly showed me the way love should be. He heads would be so cold in the winter and I would warm her up. It was like we just connected so much. No matter how many days go by I wake up every day thinking about her and how much of an impact she makes on me. I wish everyone could see her light but unfortunately their are not so nice people in the world and I want to protect her from all of them. I see living a lifetime with her she is like my soul mate and I only want her and her cold hands forever
