Nahhhhhh
Looking at the starting scene, even after only 2 episodes we can start to see some hints towards Uzi’s character progression. I say progression, because she is most likely becoming a megalomaniac (if you don’t know, someone who obsessively wants to gain power). We see the AbsoluteSolver in Uzi, which is a start, and the camera during this zoom out shows robot corpses in the mansion in heartbreak. Seeing how Doll uses her AbsoluteSolver, we can assume Uzi is mastering or already mastered AbsoluteSolver. We can also see that oil consumption plays a role in using AbsoluteSolver, as Uzi was only able to stop Doll’s bullet after she consumed a bit of oil. Now, we see some connections. Uzi is consuming oil to power her AbsoluteSolver, and we see her maniacally laughing, pointing towards her megalomaniacal intentions. This ONE SCENE foreshadows alot, and we are watching Uzi descend into a megalomanic, consuming oil not to survive, but to gain more power over time.
After seeing Liam's past series basically go into indefinite hiatus, it's nice to know he'll definitely get a whole story done, even if it takes another year.

I am a little concerned about the comedy aspect of this series, its not bad but...
Lighthearted jokes wouldn't fit the theme of "edgey angsty rebel robots" as well as it would with "a minor and his cursed minecraft block with desperation for going creative mode going up against the FISA"

Just recently discovered Glitch and Liam because of Murder Drones, and now I'm already going through their backlogs because I am already addicted to Murder Drones, it's seriously perfect.
Loving Meta Runner so far, already binged the movie and am partway through season 2. Definitely gonna check out all Liam's stuff as well. I'm also planning on picking up Murder Drones merch on my next paycheck. You guys deserve all the love and support, seriously I haven't felt this good about a channel in a long time.
Update Edit: Meta Runner was good until the ending, ending was terrible.

To be fair, one of his works, Black Dogs, did have a conclusion, albeit a downer ending.
The problem with that was, as he said, writing the story with the alternate universes was a mess. (if I'm remembering this correctly)
as 3D soup said, making an ending that was conclusive and satisfying would be really hard especially with all the mess done with the 3 universes

The symbol on Uzi's face at the beginning seems to be important to the lore. This can be seen because not only can we see it clearly in the beginning, but it also flashes on Uzi's eye when it turns yellow for a very small moment. Not only that, but it also appears for a split second before the big MURDER DRONES title appears in front of the humongous pile of robo corpses.
The first impression the pilot gave me was vampire trope (drinking blood/oil, and weakness to sunlight.) Which to me begs the question what the heck are one or two hard left turns from robo-vampirism?

1. Mabey the robot's inerfaces are fuled by the spirits of the people who died on the planet and dont realize it
2. Mabey the universe of muder drones is the same as interception cube, since we never hear the company name in that 3 part pilot and both have a supposed specialty in robots (mabey a crossover?)
3. Mabey we meet ware-bots or somthing...

@@b0c58 I personally think it might have to do with N's nanites or anti-nanite regenerative gel that makes up his saliva possibly "infecting" Uzi and slowly corrupting her, adding to the vampire tone of the disassembly drones.
Maybe fnaf lore where there are souls inside and not self aware, but not completely, the behaviors still might leaks, my opinion and at the end,

Episode 7 and 8 will come out in spring 2024, it was announced in GlitchX. It was also said that these two will be the finale of season 1, so thats kind of implying that a second one will probably exist
There is a chance that there will be an season 2 because they say “Final episodes of season 1” implying there could be another season
With how long the gap is between pilot and season, especially compared to sunset paradise, I’m expecting something so much more fleshed out than ever before! I’ll be waiting anxiously for the next trailer!!

Liam’s amazing, chaotic anime horror energy meeting Glitch’s animation team is honestly a beautiful match.
I know for awhile people in his community were hoping for someone to bite on his creative talent so that he could make a full fledged show. More so, Glitch’s clean, video game inspired CG seems to work really well with both his wacky and terrifying elements.
And robots are always a great avenue for when you want your graphic violence to be family friendly, so big logic processor move there. Lol
...

Also, not sure if other people have said this, or not, but the Murder Drones are robotic vampires. Their food source is the "blood" of their prey, they are vicious hunters, and N even says that if the sun didn't kill him, he would have joined Uzi outside (this was right at the very end of the pilot).

Dude we need an app like webnovel but for independent movie/series developers so they can have more organized funding and they wouldn't have to give up their dream and image. We all know the industry likes to "tweak" people's products and an app made for independent makers would make it all about their dream and idea, no middle man. UA-cam is just too chaotic as are others like UA-cam so making a specific platform for creators would be amazing. I need to call my big brother, he's a computer tech, about this.

I'm here for the gorgeous character designs with super entertaining personalities that show up in every Liam Vickers show so far. I really wasn't feeling the move to 3D at first, but the pilot captured the energy and aesthetics I love in Liam's work perfectly, kudos to the 3D team he's working with.

If you watch 0:9 - 0:12 yoh can see uzi laughing and in the ep 7 and 8 teaser trailer you can see the same scene . I didnt notice this until recently where i rewatched all MD content and made notes of this . Pretty cool huh.

Everyone calm down, they did say late, REALLY late 2022. So it may be late October, November, December, or any of that! Give them time. They'll probably keep us updated.

My guess is, judging by the fact they just made community post about Murder Drones, is it's going to come out soon, and probably on Halloween. It would obviously make the most sense for it to come out on Halloween because yknow, spooky murder stuff.

Did anyone else notice that Uzi's eyes were different from every other worker drone? Uzi is considered too much of a fighter, she wants to fight her problems instead of run from them. N is kind of timid when he isn't in murder drone mode. He is considered useless by other murder drones and could have easily been mistaken for a worker drone if you never saw him. That got me thinking, what if N's personality was meant for Uzi's body, and Uzi's personality was meant for N's body. Uzi didn't have any weapons attached, so she made her own. N is constantly injuring himself with his own weapons. It might be interesting to see the changes they both go through as they both experience each other. Maybe they eventually find the truth without looking for it? BTW, Glitch, if this is actually what happens, delete this comment NOW.

I am wondering at Uzi's idea to take the fight to Humanity. Like, I get the being vengeful rebelliousness. But you've got to think that Humanity has expanded to such a massive extent that they're able to send a team of three drones to very nearly eliminate all synthetic life on this planet with (presumably) no intent on recovering any of the units on team alphabet soup.
If they can expend such effective resources without so much as a second thought, it makes you wonder what they use on things they consider to be REAL problems. More importantly, how're the drones going to be able to fight a "war" when they're so comically outmatched?

Perhaps Uzi and the team (if the trio is ever going to be expanded into a larger team, that is) might set their sights on the upper hierarchy of JC Jenson, but first, they ought to take down JC Jenson from bottom of the hierarchy to the top, kind of like Ryuko Matoi's journey when she has to go through the two-star student club presidents first, and then the Elite Four before coming face-to-face with her target, Satsuki Kiryuin.

I wonder if maybe Uzi and N happen to meet another human who is mistreated and miserable, claiming that (s)he hates all humans? This could give the former two more insight into humans on an individual level, rather than broad over-generalization. Then maybe Uzi would realize her quarrel is with JCJenson, not all of mankind.
Who knows? Maybe Uzi and N can travel to different planets and create an alliance of both drones and humans with the goal of bringing down JCJenson to stop the worker drone genocide, and ensuring that humans, worker drones, and disassembly drones can live in peaceful cooperation, while many conservative JCJenson stakeholders and other disassembly drones try to thwart them?
I dunno, that's my best guess as to what could happen.

Time for the "Uzi's mom was a murder drone" theories to get made and revamped, as well as the ones where the theories are that J transfered some murder drone coding to her with that knock-out attack she did.
I'm so excited! I just got my N plush earlier this month and I've been cuddling with him as much as I can. Though I am wondering if everyone's voice actors are going to be the same as they were in the pilot since many shows deal with changing voice actors between pilot and Season One.
