I love these little cars. Years ago, I had '11' of them. Wish I'd kept at least a couple. Maybe I can find another one someday. Had a lot of fun working on, & driving 'em. Great little cars!
This sound is beautifull. I'm 67 years old and leaved in Angola. I remember this sound as one of oldest memories. Thanks. Portuguese word with no translation to other linguage - Saudade.
Very nice! I have a 66 Monte Carlo 850 two stroke. The display engine is really cool. Take both to car shows and you'll be the center on attention. Awesome!
i had a (61) 850 cc Saab and when i was in Vietnam my parents sold it . i guess they were figuring i wasn't coming back alive. so when i did come home i had nothing 2 drive . Rats
Thank you for sharing ... awesome example. Love two strokes especially the Saab 3 cylinder motor. Had a 3 cylinder two stroke motorcycle Suzuki GT380 sounded similar to your Saab.
Grandad had one of these back in Slovakia... All he did with it was church/allotment/wash/garage Eventually it rusted to bits since the garage was humid and cold.In the winter up to -20C
My first car, 1973, a 1967 model with the 2-cycle oil reservoir so you didn't have to pre-mix. 3 Webber carbs . . . fun to drive, but my Dad sold it while I was away at college, forging my name on the title . . . what a fun car, and great to drive.
Cool presentation and engineering. Saab took it further than anyone else in the car industry, but it seems (to this day) impossible to overcome the unstable idle and coasting.
I knew someone had one of these back in 1977 and it was a great car I thought, everyone seemed to consider it a bit of a joke for some reason, It was noisy, possible a blown exhaust or manifold gasket blown, it was quickish for what it was,
Absolutely Beautiful!! The Swedes were dumb to not swoop in and grab Saab back after GM butchered it.

Så bra båda motorerna låter och det är ju alltid bra att ha en i reserv.
