The addition of the Pierce to the Stahl's collection definitely puts them over the top in terms of 'famous' cars, and along with the 'Great Race' movie cars, makes this museum a must see...period!
Oh, I see you have the little VW made completely out of wrought Iron. It was made here in Santa Barbara by a lovely Mexican man who also owned a terrific restaurant (Coast Village Road in Montecito). It was a real car, a bit heavy, and he drove it around now-and-then. Best Mexican food in town too ... we miss him a lot.
He did a beautiful job and it is definitely heavy. We have driven it around a few times in our parking lot and it is so much fun!
@@stahlsauto9002 Thanks for responding. One day I would love to visit! Here's a look at my Dad's MKII. Owned by the Pillsbury's and Dad bought it in 1960 ... spent it's whole live in Santa Barbara.

Gorgeous car; the young women Fatty was accused of murdering, actually died of an infection due to a botched abortion procedure she had a day before.
Very strange Pierce Arrow with out the head lights integrated in the front fenders...
This is a wonderful museum.

I've seen it at the Meadowbrook show. It's paint is metallic and the whole thing is a bit ostentatious.
That is why Fatty Arbuckle loved it!

Music is distracting
In what way is this 1919 model 66 competely unlike any other Pierce Arrow before? They started making model 66 in 1910 and it got the 825 engine in 1912
This model has a custom body that was designed by a young Harley Earl.
