I didn't want to see Canelo fight Berlanga, and I don't think most people wanted to see that fight. I think that is way more egregious than Tank fighting Lamont Roach, but tons of people still bought the Canelo fight... Lamont Roach is not a power puncher, but he is no cherry pick, very accomplished fighter and currently a champion, unlike Berlanga, who had never even fought for a real title. I am not crapping on Canelo, I am just pointing out that Lamont Roach is better competition than Berlanga and that the Canelo/Berlanga fight still did numbers in spite of most fans not wanting the fight. Tank and Lamont have history together, and it is a D.C./Baltimore rivalry, which I find interesting... Being from Maryland, I want to see this fight, but just being a boxing fan, I want to see this fight. Al Haymon will promote this properly over the next few months, and I think this will be a successful fight for both Lamont Roach and Tank.
Let's hope tank goes to grand arrival this time unlike his last fight vs the ghost

Man there’s nothing wrong with this fight. Fans such as yourself are looking for names when it comes to fighting Tank. But as you know…Those “names” aren’t going. So the guys who put in the work & stay out the way are next up, Roach is 25-1… that’s solid. & he’s a Champion, KOed Hector at 130 for his belt. Give respect man & enjoy the fact that Tank getting back in the ring again.
