Just installed this in my 2011 and so far so good. I won't say it's "easy" because it's not. It's located in a very awkward spot. If you're young and flexible with a good back and knees you're going to have a better time! If your old and fat like me with a bad back you're in for a workout! lol But it's in and blowing air again so thanks for the video and the part itself!

I installed this one on my 2010 Toyota Camry. At first the fan was making a funny noise and the fan pressure was not enough. After watching this video I knew the blower was going bad until finally it stopped working. I checked the fuse box under the steering column and inside the engine compartment and they were all OK. I went ahead and bought the blower for my model and installed it myself. Real easy except the awkward position you had to work to remove and replace it. There are three screws like he says that holds the blower in place. But I suggest removing the first screw that is located further inside towards the firwall and when installing the new blower screw it back in last. You definitely need a third hand to hold the blower in place when you screw it back on because you'll be using a sheet metal screw type to screw it into the plastic to hold it back in place. After installing I turned on the egnition and it worked fine with a high volume of pressure coming out of the vents. Thanks for the tutorial.

Spot on! Thanks! My blower motor was in good shape. But it was full of PEANUTS. When I changed the cabin air filter, I learned a critter had carried several full peanuts through the ductwork. When I pulled the filter, the peanuts fell to the blower motor below. I feared my inexpensive maintenance job had turned into a major, expensive repair. The disassembly you described fit my effort perfectly. Back up and running with cool AC air!

Well, I did have to remove the front part of the dash (an extra four screws and a bolt) because of a harness termination and vent that was blocking the fan from coming down no matter how I twisted, turned, and cursed. HOWEVER!, I have to say a big thank you because I decided to attempt this due to your video and actually found my problem with serious vibration to be something in the fan.
We bought the car used and apparently no one ever changed the cabin filter and on high it would barely blow air. When I replaced the filter it was filthy! After the new filter was in the fan had a loud noise and vibration you could feel on the dash and even in the seat. Like really loud! Anyway, my son lived with that for about 6 months since I figured it was a new and expensive hard to replace fan. I decided to investigate a little more since he has a new GF and I'm sure the noise is embarrassing. Glad I stumbled on your video and I will definitely keep you all in mind for auto parts in the future! You just saved me like $60. Although it didn't turn into a sale for you today, I'm sure it will at some point.

I really need to do this on my 2010 Camry. I hear a noise. I think maybe a leaf or debris is in the blower motor. It works fine. We will see. Hoping I don't need to replace it. Although I'm sure it won't hurt. Car has 200K miles. Although I replace the cabin filter once a year b

How did you know you needed a blower motor? My 2007 Camry’s heat just stopped working on the ride home. No defrost or anything will work, but in the past with other vehicles the motor would still hum or make noise when they went out. The Camry is silent

Awesome I'm assuming also this could be a way to clean debris out also while blower motor assembly is out ? Our 07 we recently got had be neglected and cabin air filter which is just above the blower looked like it had never been changed and some debris fell off down near the blower motor while swapping the filter

I assume this is the exact same set up for a 2007 Camry which is what I have. I noticed a chirping sound, and its not coming from the engine, but from exactly where the blower motor is. The chirping stops if I turn the heater off and comes back when I turn it on. Should I replace the blower motor, or clean it somehow?

So I have a 06 Toyota Solara coupe, so this will increase the amount of air that comes out. When it’s on it’s highest setting it feels like it’s just on the lowest setting. It blows out cold air but the force is almost non existent.
