My dad had an 86. Same engine and body as that. He took me to many a baseball practice in that old truck. I'm close to 50 now. That old open door alarm brought back memories. They were damn good trucks.
@Vintagepedshed No doubt. They'll run forever. They were built when Nissan was still Nissan and had no affiliation with Renault. Carlos Gosen practically destroyed Nissan with all of his embezzlement BS. I have a 2010 Titan that I bought new. So far, it has been a great truck.

Story is it was a machine shop and this was its parts runner in the 90s. Shop closed in the mid 90’s and it’s been sitting ever since. They cleaned out the warehouse and it was listed for sale.
It was last registered in 1997. So technically yes, more like 2728 years but I just rounded up. No matter what I’ve been sitting for a very long time in the motor was locked up and I’m very stoked that I was able to get it running again. I am not a professional mechanic, so this is just been a fun project.
