Agree 100% So many UA-camrs are wannabe stars thinking they're making a TV show, this guy just gets on with it and his normal persona is entertaining enough.
When I was in high school, I watched a kid burn up 3 brand new starters on a 318 in his Cuda. I finally couldn't take it anymore, went to looking and he had it 180° out of time. He'd just dropped it in because it only had 40k on it when the car it came from got rolled, and his 318 that he took out had the blues. I kept telling him, you can't run a Chrysler starter that long, he was ready to put the old engine back in.
No argument there… These twats that crank and crank…. Or revvin’ the shit out of the engine…? Don’t ever put your money down on some goofy f’uckers’s that does that.

This was back in 1974 . I really miss those two cars except the tickets. MR Jennings you have a great attitude knowledge . Absolutely love your channel .
It’s simply amazing how you can turn an impossible into a possible. I really like watching you giving life back to these ol’ relics. Keep’em out of the crusher. Rock on and God bless!
Love how this '69 floor is more rotted than a lot of the 20's and 30's cars.. I guess steel got thinner and cheaper over time. This is my favourite UA-cam channel by far..
@@zippityzbrake Geeze I hope so. Did he say that in a video somewhere? Last I remember, he was looking for the motor and waiting for some interior support pieces...
Good ol' 318, mom's 68 Barracuda had that motor. She bought it new, after she passed it came to me, I drove it for another 10 years so 30 years on the road with no motor problems ever. It was her daily driver to school and back and the winters in Ohio did take an eventual toll on the frame. Sold it to a guy who wanted to take it back to factory condition. Probably still runnin' somewhere.
Oh WOW!! I had this exact car in the early 90s when i turned 16.. We were the original owners too.. Restored it, etc.. Man i miss this car, my Dad made me sell it when we moved to the east coast.. Said that it wouldn’t last in the snow and salt. I think he just didn’t want to pay to have it moved 3000 miles. Makes me sick just thinking about it. These days i have the space, time and funds to do a proper restore.. At least from the condition it was in back then. Good to see this one getting some love
Just love the speed and aerodynamics package this car comes with lol 😅. I wish there was a way to give more than one like on a video cause this guy's videos are hilarious 😂 😅

I love watching your videos! They always show that, if there’s a will, there’s a way to get those old stubborn engines running! You’ve shown me a lot of ways to get down, and get her running! Thanks! Cause I hope I will remember the things that you do, and I can use it to get my stuff back! 👍
Super stoked to see the Mail Truck. Always a joy to watch these videos, I'm from over the pond and we never have anything as interesting as these cars laying around, most stuff went to the crusher years ago, so its really nice to see these old big engines coming back to life and living for another day.
Wheeeww... I love the look of that '46 Chevy! What a gorgeous truck that would have been brand new. Another great video, another good engine saved!!! Thanks!!
helluva blast from the past there, when she ran again id say! needed to announce that shes back in action with some bravado haha havent been rooting for anything to succeed like this engine turning in a while, id say! prolly the infectious attitude of yours, the best part of your videos n all, keep em comin ! love ya stuff
I'm glad I am not the only Arkansas resident with a bunch of projects lol. I've been working on 2 white garden tractors and a 1960 chevy c50 with a 348. I also have a 1962 white 9000 td semi i need to get going.

It’s really crazy to think some of those cars and trucks existed and were brand new during times like WW1, WW2, or the Vietnam war. Such different times, those machines came from… almost like a whole different world. It’s great that you get those old cars and trucks running again, instead of letting them rot. Awesome collection
Мне нравится такие старые транспортные средства в таком плачевном состоянии, сразу возникает желание их оживить. Лично для меня такой хлам очень приятный, я бы занимался такими машинами если только мне повернулась бы такая возможность.
I don’t have a clue why you would want to take on a rust bucket like that, but I do give you credit for trying. I had one of those in the extended form (station wagon) and it had the same engine. I always had guys ask me if it had the 440 engine because it says 440 on the side, sometimes I would fib and say “of course it does”! Lol
The mouses one ate a full bag of beeswax pellets in my woodshop, despite the fact that the cat made regular inspection of the place. Them critters tastebuds are a total mystery to me. Esp. The eaten up rubber and carstuff🙄🤯😂 Nice wrenching as always, mate😉👍
I concur using starting fluid on engines with little compression. Starting fluid has more oomph and that helps getting the engine to crank over faster until it takes off. Then I use gasoline. My MO. The only thing I ever hurt with starting fluid was a V4 Evenrude that had set. One of the sparkplugs popped out. The owner just JB Welded it right back in and since it had run ee switched over to gas. Good Video Dustin. Thank you. "That's Entertainment." ben/ michigan
An idea I got elsewhere - try using pre-mixed 2-cycle fuel for the initial startups. The oil in it will help the rings seal and is a bit gentler on the internals. Should still light off about as easy as ether
Dustin, please do a video that covers your process uncut and in detail. I want to learn your diagnosis process, troubleshooting, and the actual amount of time you spend on these. Please 🙏
Really like Dustin‘s videos. No background music no fancy graphics, just basic down-to-earth. Pure and enjoyable fun!

I agree, I am a fan of Peg but I like the really old "yard art" revivals. Way less destruction. Lol

Most amazing part of this video is the fact that a Mopar starter survived all that cranking.
