I love this land!! It feels like the last vestige of the OG pre-MCU aesthetic and just gives me those nostalgic 90’s comic book and cartoon feels. Great vid!
This is no dig at the excellent job that they did on this land, but maybe it would have been for the best for us if they had gotten DC? Then we’d have a top level DC land and there could have been more of a direct competition. This was another excellent video.
I think the secondhand popularity the land gets because of the MCU is so worth it...but it would be nice to look forward to a new superhero ride. Thanks for always commenting, Paul!
Excellent job on this video, Vincent. Lots of interesting info! Parts of the area and rides I have never seen anyone else talk about before. Very cool!
Saw two totally new things in this vid. Excellent work Consider using a basic graphic map to show us where you are at each point. Unless its near an obvious big ride name, hard to pinpoint your location if we're watching video in park and matching up the cool easter eggs
i think the head busts by osborn industries might be a reference to venom and carnage? idk tho might just be venom because in the comics im pretty sure osborn industries was the one who developed the venom symbiote
i feel like silver surfer would've worked better as its not like hulk does front flips and inversions. they couldve just made it metal and gave it a shiny gloss but made the veichle chrome.
If you’re a fan of this land, check out a comic called 1985 if you haven’t! It has a similar vibe and even somewhat follows a similar story of the land itself. Marvel villains start appearing in the real world and a young comic fan needs to get the help of the heroes to stop them. It can be a little silly and fan-fiction-y but to me that’s what makes it fun to read!
There is also the Chrome Illusion paint on some buildings, especially Dr Doom’s Freefall that changes colour depending on the angle you look at and in the sunlight. I would love to see timelaspes of that paint to see how it works. Didn’t know about it as a young lad.
So one detail that you missed is when you head to doctor doom and you look at the road heading to the ride you can see silhouettes of all the heroes that died because they were used as test subjects for his ride
funny how even when its 20 years old, universals spiderman ride is MILES, MILES better than avengers campus' spiderman ride. i mean come on you litteraly have to buy the blasters for the ride ( which i for some reason did and deeply regret, DO NOT BUY IT )
That’s not why universal got marvel instead of dc they got marvel because wb owned dc at the time due to the Superman movies and Batman movies they wanted a deal but wb decided to go to six flags so the deal fell through so they went and had talks with marvel and this started getting to mid 90s so this is when marvel was in dire need of money but that’s why not because dc was more popular than marvel

Much better than avengers campus
The virgin Marvel Super Hero Campus vs The Chad amarvel Super Hero Island.
That chair that's in kingpin arcade is from Stan Lee. His own personal chair
You've got the best energy and this was such a fun video to watch!

Six Flags had DC.
What an awesome video! I loved learning all of these facts. Please make more of these!
Hoping to see it next year! Looks exciting, and like real Marvel comic fun! Thanks for the video.
Great video! Love the energy and all the secrets. Best marvel island video I’ve ever seen
Thanks!
Thanks Chrissy! Glad you liked this video
great video, surprised this only has 400 likes!
Great vid, looking forward to more like this.
What Islands of Adventure land should I do next?
@@VincentVision Toon or Suess. I think there’s more to discover there . I love JP and HP but there’s so many videos of those already.
This was awesome! I've watched a ton of these types of secrets videos, but you definitely included things I'd never heard before. 😍🔥👍
Thanks K! I'm happy I was able to show you something new.
love the tributes for Stan Lee 🙌🏼
Wow man awesome video

You forgot the Steve Diko dots at hulk exit

I get that it's right down on the water, but man, do they ever need to repaint those steps near Namor's landing. Yike.
This is the coolest land ever

That’s a great idea!
What sound effect or song is your intro with the logo from? I love it!!!
... Please tell me that was the Serpent Society in the Sewer.
They did not seem to like Captain America

Thanks, Vincent! 94 days until we will be there and can’t wait to look for “hidden Adams”😀
You’re an awesome 🤩 UA-cam channel.
First.. Hey Vin Man!
Hey Bowser!

I see park hours at 9,8 or 7pm close but at 10 i see wait times still. Do they have extended hours for park guests?
Right now Grad Bash is happening at the parks, a private after hours event for graduating high schoolers!
@@VincentVision thank you very much!
Don’t get me wrong, Stan Lee is incredibly important to the history of the company but he didn’t actually start Marvel
Marvel Super Hero Island >>>> Avengers Campus

9:35 NO WAY I NEVER KNEW THAT
You forgot the Steve Diko dots at hulk exit
Tell me more about this!
