Ok I know I’m so late to the party but I’m brushing up on my corsage work (after taking 20yrs off to raise kids and now I’m back to work) and this was EVERYTHING! I. Love. You!!!! Simple, demonstrative, and FREAKING HILARIOUS!!! Thank you!!!
@@candisfloral6045 I was able to do 20 or so corsages and boutonnières. I only struggled with 1 monstrosity for a gal who wanted a wristlet, a lot of baby’s breath, 5 spray roses, and for it to swirl up her arm. I wrestled with that one for hours.
My daughter’s boyfriend bought a beautiful corsage that was glued. I made a corsage from this vid. Guess what lasted all night without roses falling off? Old school wire.and.tape. Thank you for sharing this talent!
Omg “old school!” I learned these old-school techniques back in the early 2000s when my mom had a floral shop. Fast forward I’m getting married in two weeks and I’ve decided to do wrist corsages for our moms. I called myself brushing up on the technique only to hear that it is old-school now and there’s something called floral glue. 😳🤯
Thank you so much for the quick way to make a corsage I have been making corsages with hot glue and it just takes forever I do precision work so now I can do it the way you showed me and just breeze right through all the orders thank you so much
Most people chat to much yadada you get to the point and teach the main factors which I love!! Making one for teen in 2 weeks . Appreciate you so much.
Takes me back to first year horticulture in school. Lol. Didn't think we would EVER be finished taping and wiring as first year students. It felt like latke work but now I'm grateful 😆
Love this video! I am rewiring a 70 year old Christmas corsage from my childhood. For some reason years ago I separated the bits and pieces to hang as ornaments on my tree. I still have all the parts and now I want to put it back together. This will be a fun little project for me! Thank you!
I just love this video! I giggle everytime I come across it. Old School Florist Techniques win every time. I've been doing it this way for 20 yrs. I really don't like the cold glue technique for corsages.
Thank you for this tutorial! BY FAR the best video I've seen- and I've watch a lot of them. You explained it so perfectly. This is exactly what I am wanting. Can't wait to try it! You had me giggling with the accidental C word. HA!
I make corsages at work. I have been unable to find glue... With prom season near we were trying to figure out our plan. They mentioned using wire I immediately panicked, and went to UA-cam. Luckily I came across your video! It made me excited to return to work and give it a try!!! Can't wait to see your next videos! Thank you!!!!!
Love it! And you are so good at explaining everything in details. I appreciate it so much ! I am going to give it a try to save my son some money . Where can I get all the supplies that you used other than the flowers 😁thanks again !
I've been searching tutorials on these for my daughters wedding.... Only reason I watched this was because of the header that you used the C word.... You are the best! Great tutorial. I subscribed, maybe I can find one with making bows too 😳😂Thank you!
Thank you for being you! I love your personality, the way you teach, your comments, everything! I’m just a momma trying to make prom possible and you definitely helped me!
True story, I only got to the beginning of the floral tape part and already I know I will subscribe. Thank you for this precise and very detailed video! I’ve watched so many, but your videos are all I need from here on out. I can tell. 💯👏🏽😍
LMAO!!!! Lol!! I Loved your tutorial on this!! I’m a mom of several boys and girls and have made my own on occasion. The simplicity of how you do yours is amazing. I wish I could have seen this years ago!!!❤️
I just want to thank you for this, your boutonnière and bow tutorials. I was able to make a set for my sons hoco dance on my first try! I watched many videos and yours were the best. THANK YOU!!!
The BEST tutorial! I’ve been searching and searching and wow! Perfectly explained and easy to follow! Thank you for sharing this tutorial! You make it look so easy!❤️
I’ve watched many tutorials and yours in hands down the best informative well described how to video out there!! Thank you so much . Keep up the good work.❤️
THANK YOU. This IS how it should be done. I'm so sick of seeing hot glue/cement glue and flowers... They should never go together in my opinion (Especially with professional florists!).
Thank you so much ❤️❤️. Prom season coming up and with the Oasis glue being out of stock and the issues, I needed an alternative! I work a grocery store floral dept. This is going to be my go to from now on!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH🌹 I Just found your videos and found that you are an EXCELLENT teacher. You include the very fundamentals along with some great tips. I will be following you from now on. Thank you so much..
You just saved my bacon. I have to make 5 corsages for this Saturday. If I make them Saturday morning, can I put them in cello bags in the fridge for Saturday evening?
This was an fantastic tutorial! Thank you for sharing. I don't likey the glue...and like making corsages even less. But you've renewed my confidence. Oh and thanks for the accidental word spill. Needed a laugh! You're awesome :-)
Love that I found your video! So helpful! TKU! Flower question- how long before the event do you tend to cut and make these? I always worry about the flowers wilting! Any tips on that? I hydrate them well for at least 24 hrs but I still worry! I do these for my kids friends for school dances (always looking for tips)! 😅
So glad you found me. It depends on the state the spray roses are in when they get to you. Typically I get these delivered on Tuesday and they are very green and tight - so I'll cut and put into very warm water and put a garbage bag over them so they open up quickly.(green house affect) I put them in the cooler on Wednesday to harden and make them on Thursday, spray with crowning glory, bag or box and put into a 36-38 degree cooler fridge with no oranges! I've made them as early as Wednesday! Hope this helps
Thank you for the video!! It's great and will be a big help for me making my sister's corsages and boutonnieres for her wedding. One question though - should you wire eucalyptus? If so, how would you go about doing that? Thank you for any help :)
I don’t wire anything that has a thin and sturdy stem. If you needed to wire a green at that point I usually just put the wire next to the stem, straight up and down and tape it real tight. Almost like making an extended stem. This way you have the flexibility of you need to move it bend it.
From a complete novice, its basic and to the point. Brilliant. Just what I needed x
So glad to hear it!

Where do you get the wrist band w clips? I see several different kinds online but none like your using.😢
Fall River Floral Supply in Fall River Mass.
Where can I buy the same wristband you used? Ty!
local wholesaler. not sure with supply issues these days - amazon? craft stores?
Do you recommend making it the same day of the prom or the day before?
You can make them up to 3 days before. I always spray with crowning glory and bag in plastic. Put in fridge
Great video thank you
of course
