This is one of my favorite albums of the last 5 years, Blue Dream is a GOAT level track. The synth fusion is just perfection. Now, I will once again ask you to delve into Like Moths to Flames and If I Were You, both are right down your alley. Inner Signals and No Eternity in Gold are filled with bangers that will take over your playlist!
This album grew on me. If you have a chance to see them live, definitely recommend. It’ll give you a whole new perspective on this album. It hits hard live.
Glad you had Blue Dream going on your playlist and liking it, because its probably my favorite KoG song. The vibe of that song is just... something. Not their heaviest song but for me it hits hard.
Its one of those albums that doesnt really have a weak song but doesnt really have any huge standouts for me. I was a big fan when it came out but havnt went back to it much over the years.
I was super stoked for this album before it came out. I won't say it let me down, but it took longer for me love than their older songs, because I anticipated their usual riffage and technicality. But I really felt like this album had a "theatrical" feel, where each song had its own unique theme and was built for its live performance.
Would you say this album has grown on you at all? Ive been listening to this music since 2006 and this album really hit hard once it grew on me, especially wayfinder.
You definetely need to give this one a few more tries. Maybe most of it went through your head because its all very familiar sounding. Also, Wayfinder completely missed the highlights, what a bummer. Looking forward to your future opinion on this album.
I feel like this album doesn't contribute much in terms of vision or ingenuity, it feels like most other prog/metal/metalcore bands and uses all the tropes we are used to at this point. But it's not bad either and the production is good, like someone else said; good for a long drive, exercising etc

This album is a grower for everyone I've talked to. Even for me, wasn't a big fan at first, but just keep listening to it and it pulls you in

Can't take your reviews all that seriously when you decided to review Holy Hell before All Our Gods and give it a similar reaction to this
Grow-er not a show-er for sure. Really solid, easy listening metalcore, nothing fancy, just good solid music.
I’m just saying name another Metalcore album that is the perfect example of Mass Effectcore
No reaction for wayfinder 😮 haha
Please do ground culture album drew. I will send feet pics my guy😆😆😆😆
