I always hated that he loses many matches where he has advantage in score and does not convert his chances, but he is a talented player and fun to watch
Alexander Kings Well, you might be right but I don’t actually care whether he is a copy or not. I think Grigor’s movements and shots seems more beautiful, flexible and cooler than anyone else including Federer. That is my opinion though.
Oliver McCall You are absolutely right, can’t argue with that. But my point is not about effectiveness or consistency, actually it is only about visual or maybe how beautifully he swings his arm and racquet when he hits that backhand.
This 10 minutes was a blessing for the eyes of a tennis fan. Especially if you like elegant one handed backhands, ridiculously soft hands and superhuman court coverage.
Nevermind that, he is still one of the top players in the world and on his day can beat anyone. Even then the artistry is truly more impressive then any record or win.
I don't care if he is winning slams anymore. I just love to watch him play. So beautiful game. And you should make video of his running forhand, best on the tour.
"Oh, it's brilliant!" That's enough to describe his performance, although personally prefer that of Stan Wawrinka. Is it sheer coincidence many of them from matches with Rafa?!
True, but it gets you more variety and options. It's interesting to imagine what would Roger's BH be like if it was a double handed BH. His game would've gotten more complete or would he lacked the variety he has with his single hander and hence deteriorate his game overall. Usvsahsvj they lack stability, when all is equal, not control. Which affects hitting balls out of the strike zone. But if you're strong enough to use one they are very fun to play with. I started w 2hbh and like 1hbh better
Dude is so inconsistent . Backhand still can be better ♥️ The fact he won the ATP in 17 shows he is an above average player just needs more conisistency!
@@-music2023 agreed. With Roger he knows his game so much better than Grigor knows his. The shot selection from Grigor at times is simply bizzare! That Maria Sharapova relationship ruined his career. Should have focused on tennis rather than dating. Just like Verdasco he was too much into glamour. After Maria, another high profile relationship with Nicole.
Woah man. 3-5 is a lot. But yeah, he is surely an underachiever. Should have won more may be. Btw, there is a tennis WhatsApp group for tennis enthusiasts. If anyone's interested in joining, please drop me a WhatsApp msg on this number +918638525631.
I didn't think you could even create a 10 minute highlight reel of the Grigor backhand even if you included a lot of replays. It is the absolute downside in his game. No trust in it. No margin. No power. Runs around a lot and gets nothing from it since he lacks the Fed inside out Fearhand so the only thing he accomplish is to avoid the backhand error but leaves himself wide open in the forehand corner.

samew
Maybe not the best but totally the coolest player on the tour. So satisfying to watch.
You can't say that when he is a cheap copy of Federer.

Alexander Kings cant love grandpa’s backhand anymore

@Oliver McCall Both are overrated.

Grigor, one of the best players to see
Dripping with so much talent, elegance and technique, this guy should have won a few Slams by now :(
Nevermind that, he is still one of the top players in the world and on his day can beat anyone. Even then the artistry is truly more impressive then any record or win.
Always love some gorgeous backhands!
One of the most beautiful games in tennis ❤ Grigor
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY TENNIS IDOL!
Happy 29th Grigor
ЧРД, Гришо! Да си жив и здрав!
8:07 lol wtf?
ahhh, apologies, skip past it :)
@@tennistv lol this is the official ATP page :P
I thought my phone finally shit itself
0:21 gotta love me some tennis in 10 fps 😅
Lol
Lol
Happy Birthday Grigor Dimitrov :D

Roger, Stan and Grigor have gorgeous one-handed backhands. Stans' is the most elegant in my oppinion.
"Oh, it's brilliant!" That's enough to describe his performance, although personally prefer that of Stan Wawrinka.

I enjoy watching Grigor play - a sensational style of tennis. Especially when he plays Rafa or Stanimal.
Happy birthday grigor !!
been waiting for this one
Gotta feel bad for Goffin for a second
If only... Very talented player

What’s her @? Asking for a friend…
Dimitrov is the best
Yes please
too good
Cómo o que se tiene que hacer para jugar en el torneo o los torneos de de APT ?
"Baby Fed"? yeeeaah sometimes.... .
Happy b-day!
Can you put 10 minutes of Gulbis backhand?
The next Wawrinka in BH!!!
Bro you're on tennisTV
He has djoker's athleticism but he copied fed's technique...so he's basically the coolest player on tour
This channel is my procrastination hub
Rafa is like the james wade of tennis lol. Most devastating dimitrov backhands came against him, and he's a lefty too 🤣
please do just Dimitrov slice video
I always get a little confused when he is facing Roger Federer kkkkkkkk
Rafa needs to stop going for Grigor's backhand, man
Yeah but topspin shots are a nightmare for one handers so it works for Rafa.
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
He has a beautiful game. Too bad he couldn't win any slams. What a shame
What do you think who has the best single hand backhand..
1: Federer
2:Stan
3: Shapovalov
4: Dimitrov
5: Bye
Gasquet and Thiem~~Are we a joke to you...
Stan better than fed ofc
Federer
Def not Fed...
Obviously
STAN THE MAN
These boring two-handed backhand cowards must be secretly admiring that Dimitrov’s graceful one-hander
One handers generally lack in control compared to the two handers.
I agree. They have more free range of motion and maybe more power but definitely not as versatile
Trinny Tran not as versatile?
@@gabriellee5902 such as controlling high balls and on the run

This video lacks epic background music.

Half of the video was Grigor and Nadal : )
8:10 is bad
So much talent, not much trophies 😑
And yet this is the shot that has absolutely killed him. His backhand and second serve are so poor
There’s something wrong with his dressing in his early career.
Would be good but he slices way too much. Should copy Federer more😂😂
I'm pretty sure Federer slices even more

Grigor Dimitrov's backhand > LeBron James > Jesus > Benoit Paire > Queen Elizabeth > Spongebob > Roger Federer ☺
That Maria Sharapova relationship ruined his career. Should have focused on tennis rather than dating. Just like Verdasco he was too much into glamour. After Maria, another high profile relationship with Nicole.
Bug
Probably he and tsitispas have the same back hand
Nope
The dimitrov one is better
Tsitsipas has no backhand
Not trying to be rude but tsitispas backhand is ugly
Amer Fahmi, true. The only one-hander on tour I dont enjoy watching
Talent wasted only if he had focused on tennis and not sharapova he would have atleast won 3-5 slams
Woah man. 3-5 is a lot. But yeah, he is surely an underachiever. Should have won more may be.

Bit harsh.
