Amelie you should seriously get into the nutrition/PT field. You’re sooo good at explaining and demolish old futile myths about “healthy” lifestyle. We need more influences like yours for the less prepared minds who want to approach this kind of lifestyle!
she probably will once she graduates high school. I can totally see her going in that direction.
definitely a path im considering for my future!
It’s so nice to hear this advice come from such a healthy place, I’ve thought for so long that having abs wasn’t even healthy/possible for women because of all of the stigma. Great video!
As someone who struggles with an ed these tips and the way you are talking and explaining them is perfect. Makes me want to get out of this cycle and get healthy
food is FUEL. it helps us live life and reach our goals. its not the enemy
This was REALLY well done. With smart info. Especially eating well and not starving yourself.
I had abs last summer lol now I don’t. But I’ll get back to it. Only took me 2 months. I’m not overweight and it’s not hard to lose weight and get in shape. I see results pretty fast and everything.
But I tend to give up my happiness to deal with toxic people. Drains me and I end up stopping what I’m trying to achieve to go be in the same boat as them because I feel bad they aren’t happy.
No more of that shit though. It’s my life. I’m not having anyone run it. If they aren’t happy, doesn’t mean I can’t be happy. People love to tear down happy people because they can’t be happy themselves.
This was so awesome and informative! I’m so proud of you little one! You’re such an inspiration! 😊
YESSSS!! i love this video because it’s so true that’s what I’m doing right now
Wow, finally a nice and simple video with well explained and divided informations that isn’t confusing and full of myths regarding health! Such gold
I know this is a big request but if you made a week in a life including some meals and workouts along with grwm and stuff like that would be so great. I love your content and you are my fav youtuber btw! ❤
you are definitely one of my top fitness influencers and i love your tips so so much thank you for all you do!!
Wow, this has probably been the most helpful video I've seen regarding getting abs. Thank you!
This video was so helpful and clear! Your advice always comes from such a healthy and balanced perspective- really appreciate your positivity and motivation!
I’m an RD and this info is so well said and explained. Keep it up girlie:)
Omg this video IS for me. Queen. Thank you.
You make fitness more "reachable/possible" :-) Totally agree! xx
WHAT WORKS FOR ME:
1) minimum of carbs for dinner (unless I have finished a killer workout)
2) different variations of plank
3) spinning while lifting 0,5 kg weights (different intervals) slightly leaned back
4) 15 min. pilates core workout after my spinning/ HIIT (Boho beautiful)
It's so nice to listen to you explain all these things in an educational and positive way ✨ I really love the content you're creating! So motivational and helpful! Thank you for sharing your experience! 🤗
Great advice!! Love your channel.
The amount of time and love you pour into your videos is outstanding! Amelie is truly an inspiration and has the most loving soul! You feel like a best friend! It's like I'm drinking coffee & hanging out with you 🥰 🦋 I’m so honored that your videos are part of my routine 🤍

Great video😍 I love it!
Thank you this was very helpful😊
This is knowledge that I didn't realise I desperately needed
I would say that is the complete guide for getting abs to be honest, thank you!
Thank you Amelie. I was fortunate to have your excellent video pop up on my UA-cam home page. While I am 3 months into my journey this was just the review that I very much needed to confirm that I had a good understanding of the process and only needed to be consistent and patient. Just what the Doctor ordered, very professionally done, and extremely helpful. I have recommended this video for friends who are getting interested in getting healthy. You have just told them everything that they need to know to get started off on the right foot for a healthy lifestyle; having abs is cool too. I'm sure that they will thank you also. Keep going girl. You could be very good in this field professionally. Good luck if that is the course you decide to take with your life.
Oh my god, I needed this video SO MUCH. Thank you, this is super helpful! Your videos in general are also super entertaining, and since I’ve started watching you they have helped me along my fitness journey so much! 💗
yay! im so happy it helped!
I’m currently skinny fat because I’m a XC and track runner. I have a half marathon in 2 days. I want to start lifting weights!. I love your content! :)
Keep up the good work. So I'm in the best shape of my life, I use the ab slide / roller and free weights every day. Is there a certain supplement you recommend taking for stomach fat? Most stubborn area. I currently take turmeric, ginger , coconut oil and fish oil. Thanks.
I’ve been taking to my therapist lately about food related issues and my struggles with food. I’ve always been very skinny, but a few years ago was kinda chubby and decided to start restricting my food and working out, also started weighing my food obsessively. I’ve recently started going to the gym and have began lifting weights, but my struggle is more so the food and my relationship with food and the food scale rather than the workouts. It was really nice to hear you say it can help to track your food but it’s not necessary as long as you’re eating the correct foods. Letting go of the scale and that habit of weighing my food has been so difficult for me, it’s so scary not knowing how much calories I’m eating and how much of each macro is in what, but slowly I’ve been increasing the amount of food I’m eating and have been incorporating more protein and veggies in my diet as I know that’s what my body needs to fuel and allow my muscles to grow and recover properly. This video gave me hope and inspired me, thank you for your words of advice 🥹
Can you do a video on what meals you ate while you were training to get abs and to lose fat ?
Great job on this video.. you hit all the critical elements, with excellent delivery and speaking. 🎉
Hi Amelie good morning happy Friday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Thank you this!!!
I've been working out for 4 years now but haven't been able to get abs. I'll try applying these tips to see how they go, thank you girl
Does it work with u?
Your very helpful thank you

THANK YOU!!!
omg ur top is so cute!
How much time should you spend on cardio a day to see the results? Or does it depend on the person?
thank you!!
⭐️ gold star content
Thank youuuuuu!!!! Most people online lie about this and say only ab workouts work. Everyone that has asked me my split or what/when I lift will always ask about my ab routine and they never believe me that it’s allllll about the eating!!!
SO TRUE
I Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee ur videos, ur such an inspiration frfr
lovely informative video
These abs exercises are lit!! Keep up the good work. Question... have you ever tried Next Level Diet? I got a muscle-building plan from them and I love it.
girl ur videos are amazing
ILYYYY
could you link where the white sports bra from!! i’m obsessed
I just learnt more from you than I did in school, thanks 😂❤
hi! can you please do a video of tracking macros? i think that would be so helpful!
A good tip is to aim to eat 1g of protein per your body pounds.
Best advice
What macros do you follow/recommend for getting abs to show?
Great info
Very helpful video! Thanks.
Could you please tell us what brand is your sport bra? It is really cute
Being in a caloric deficit is not the only way you can lose fat. Being/eating in maintenance you can also lose fat. It’s called body recomp, where you lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, which is how you stay the same weight. Also, being in a caloric deficit = losing weight but losing weight ≠ losing fat. Losing weight can include losing fat but also losing muscle mass, water mass, etc.
Hey Amelie I’ve been trying to get fit and I really love your videos!! I am only a teen and don’t really feel comfortable being in a calorie deficit so can you still do these tips if your not in a calorie deficit, I do eat pretty healthy already ❤
yes absolutely! that mindset is amazing!! you can totally lift, run, increase your protein intake etc without being in a deficit!
What weights were u using in the video clips?
Important thing to note:
Not all women are supposed to have visible abs. To attain the "6 pack" look you have to have insane genetics and be at a very low body fat. A small minority of women can attain this in a healthy way, but most people would suffer health consequences if they tried to get shredded abs. It would also mean a very strict dieting regime and possible period loss, as well as mental fog, tiredness, cravings and more.
Going for a more toned look is more realistic and healthy. Most women can attain some amount of definition in the stomach area, although once again this is not necessary. As long as you're a healthy weight you don't really need to worry about getting abs.
how often and long do you train them?
Could u suggest some healthy meals that are easy to make(snacks, lunch, dinner)
Nice post tx
Great video! Ab workouts will not magically lead to abs BUT ab workouts are essential (especially for athletes). Your core is one of the most important groups of muscle because it allows you to stand upright, run, and breath (controlled breaths not involuntary). Having a strong core is so important and can reduce rate of injury!
Yes! And people don't realize your core includes your lower back and glutes, too-all SUPER essential and foundational for stabilization in pretty much every context.
i can’t afford a gym membership 😭 i really want to start running as a main form of exercise but I’m super scared of becoming skinny fat. will i still be able to maintain/grow muscle if I do body weight exercises like yoga/pilates and eat lots of protein?
What about the protien intake
Cardio before or after weight lifting?❤
This Video is so good! Thank you so much.
Greetings from germany
depends on your goal :) if you want to build muscle, first weight lifting, then cardio!
a lot of people say different things. my personal opinion is cardio is best when ever you are going to have the most motivation to do it. the difference before vs after isn't life changing and doing it at all is better than not doing it. personally if i wait til after my lift to do cardio i know ill get lazy and want to skip it so i always do it before :)
Just found your channel, and I'm obsessed. Where's your sports bra from in this video? It's so cute ❤
Love ❤️
Where do you get your top from?
What is you workout routine? How many days per week do you do weights? and cardio? How long each time?
check out my fitness journey video!!
Girl i love you ❤❤❤❤❤
how do i start lifting?
We need a workout plan from you like 2 weeks challenge
Really insightful video, thanks for explaining these tips so clearly. May I ask what macro ratio split you follow? Or examples of macro ratios you’d suggest? Xx
as of now I mainly focus on protein, I aim for over 100g a day. I just also try to limit my fat intake to a healthy but lower amount for my personal goals and tbh I dont worry about carbs. (as long as nothing is excessive)
How do you do cardio, if you are a wheel chair user?
Hello,I hope you have a nice day ❤
Thank you for sharing this. Unfortunately the mainstream media doesn’t share this. They say Keto, low carb and gluten free. Not true. No diet is one size fits all. We have to eat our macros. Six packs are made in the kitchen 💯 👍🏻.
it’s soooo hard!!
From where’s your top from??
I'm honestly a little confused as to what I should do. I have a BMI of about 20 and I'm maintaining my weight at 2000 calories per day. I'm doing resistance/strength training at home using dumbbells and resistance bands for 30 minutes daily (10 arms + 10 abs + 10 legs) plus at least 10 minutes of stretching (I'm following UA-cam videos). I'm not really supposed to lose weight, because I'm trying to get my period back (I lost it due to anorexia years ago). Should I create a deficit or change my workouts? I don't do cardio because I'm afraid of losing muscle and becoming more skinnyfat, slowing my metabolism down in the process. Any advice would be helpful.
if you are trying to get your period back you should not enter a deficit. I am not a doctor or CPT but I would focus on first getting your period, the rest of your fitness journey can come later
@@ameliedesai yeah, I guess you're right. I just need a reality check sometimes. Thank you very much for replying.
What was the protein change you made? Above 1g per body weight or at your weight? 😢
Can you stay the same weight your at and get abs if I’m not mistaken doesn’t losing weight take away muscle you already have? Would you just have to do exercises that target you stomach?
Yes you can, it’s called body recomp! Eating your maintenance calories every day w/ high protein in body weight , 1-2 days cardio, and 2-3 days strength training.
What should I do when I’m skinnyfat and little bit underweight, can I start a calorie deficit?
NOOO! you should focus on gaining muscle and getting to a health weight! you can adapt your food choices to help you attain a leaner physique but calorie wise i would not recommend a deficit (keep in mind i am not a CPT, this is just from personal research)
@@ameliedesai what do u think, can I start body recomp, when I’m lifting for a few month and I gain 1,5kg of muscles?(sorry for my english🫠)
Workout top deets??
To have visible ABS I have to get body fat percentage at pathologic levels. I am endomorph, insulin-resistant. I am on a diet since I was born, as I have also gluten and dairy allergies. I had also 2 pregnancies. My doctor said that for me it's impossible unless I do abdominoplasty. I also wear a super tight waist trainer. I am terribly struggling losing fat. The endocrinologist gave me the berberine. I hope it will help me. However the waist trainer did not fit me before my last pregnancy, now it fits me. I am fed up of seeing all this girls with visible abs on the street or in the gym. Some of them are older than me. I am thinking to order burning fat medications to treat obese people, but I don't know where to buy.
I wish someone told me that scale didn’t matter when it came to fitness and getting muscles😅❤
can you do a homework out video?
I don't have access to the gym and I'm not sure how much I burn. I'm also not very good with weights but I want to achieve a good physique during the summer
definitely in the future! make sure you're following my fitness insta, @fitwamelie because I have a whole highlights section with my favorite home workouts!
@@ameliedesai how should I start with cardio btw? and okay, will check them out!!
Abs are made in the gym and shown through the kitchen
First
I got injuried and I won't be able to run for a while and I'm scared AF that I'll get fat.
Be careful being Ina deficit AND increasing workout. Don't want to fall below -500cals
MY NAMES AMELIE NO WAY IVE NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN HEARD OF OR MET ANYONE ELSE NAMED AMELIE
Great advice there, and your beautiful physique backs up every single word.
What was that click bait. Fire that’s what
90 percent people watched this clip from 8:42 to 8:50 of the video that is 8 sec of total video that is 0.009 percent of the video, she got 90K+ views just from that, really wtf is this
Where’s your bra from?
I’ll save everyone time it’s called diet
Yeah! Cardio with my girlfriend less then calories.
Abs are not feasible for 80% of females. You guys naturally hold more bodyfat then men. Its more important to stay healthy than to "look good". A healthy BF would be around 20-25% but abs aren't visible until 10-15%
I just Never know what to eat that has much protein in it.
Do you still eat Indian food or gave up for being fit?
But I thought it’s not possible to build muscle while being in a calorie deficit?
no true!! it def won't be as fast as if you were in a surplus or maintenance but if youre coming from not working out ANY lifting will help you put on muscle even if youre in a slight deficit!
