      that last point can easily be proven false, many times throughout humanities various wars, people were or weren't issued things they should have had or had different forms of.
      heck just look at all the bs troops after 9\11 had to deal with and all the current lawsuits for things they either didn't get or got something detrimental to their deployment, ergo the diarrhea mres,3m earplus etc,that's just USA from our last big conflict and those are just big ones everyone should know.
      now I'm not saying these are good,I'm just saying their quality is irrelevant when it comes to what soldiers are issued, dont fool around, literally everyone knows milspec stands for lowest bidder ergo lowest quality of competition.
      the government issues soldiers the bare minimum, always has,only spec ops get any special treatment.
      they only care you have what's required to do the job, how fast,well,encompassing, etc are much less important "our job is not to wonder why,our job is only to do or die" heard that before? that's all you mean to the government, a bullet sender and bullet sponge for lobbied interesters, if you have the gear to do the job that's all they care about, nothing extra.

    Nothing with quick disconnects. Asking for trouble. And in the light department.....have read dozens of Seal Team stories how pressure pads are not desired. Gives away position when mistakenly touched.

    Its for people like game wardens,cops on dept budgets and folks with a low budget.....yes,people that dont need to use a rifle too often so one can put their duty flashlight on the longun in the rare need arises and save some money.

    So tell me why you have a reason to move your WML on and off your gun? That light has IR capabilities which means if you’re running nods you will likely have a dual switch setup. That means moving it off and on is a hassle and unnecessary. Just use the standard mount, save weight time and money

    why does your flashlight need a qd?
    weapon lights are only expensive due to durability concerns just carry a handheld light which will inevitably be cheaper if you feel the need to detach a light from your gun

    Putting your flashlight so far forward it gets taken out by your own muzzle flash is peak UA-camr brain.
    For those of you who want to disagree that he doesn't shoot with his flashlight that far forward, look at the cap of the flashlight, it has carbon deposits on it.

    Surefire M640DF’s are straight trash. I went through 6 of them on two rifle in less than 4 months. They all flickered under recoil (even flickered during dry firing) and one downright failed to work in less than 150rds. The rep from Surefire even admitted it and tried talking me into a 1000 lumen Scoutlight rifle instead of warranting the M640DF’s because he said there were known problems with them and they didn’t have a fix for it. Modlite, Cloud, or Streamlight from here on out.

    Words of wisdom. If you mount your flashlight that close to the muzzle blast the increase of gas pressure on one side of the muzzle can effect your trajectory of the round. Mount if farther back or sight it in after mounting the light.

    • @rhogenclark4936
      @rhogenclark4936 6 місяців тому

      By the look of carbon build up on his flash hider I’d say he runs it suppressed, most, if not all the time. so muzzle blast is well past the front of the flashlight

    I dig the idea but kinda' turns 1-2 points of failure into multiple, and those multiple points also have small moving parts. I would have to see this torture tested to feel OK about it.
