I’m with Madge. Three story homes for one family. 😳I’m happy when I see success but it also saddens me as a Jamaican when I see tin roof homes and many poor and struggling Jamaicans in other areas.

Remember too that many of these homes were not built all at once. People work save their money and build their homes 1 or 2 rooms at a time. It may take them years but they take their time and get it done. Jamaicans LOVE HOUSE 😍Sweet! Sweet. Jamaica 🇯🇲 thanks Tom and Madge for highlighting the different sides of our beautiful island
Indeed, you're absolutely right! Building a home is often a gradual process and these beautiful Belvedere mansions are a testament to that patience, hard work, and persistence shown by Jamaica's people. The love for home is truly unparalleled here and it's one of the many reasons why we were excited to showcase this prestigious neighborhood. We're more than happy to share different sides of Jamaica, it's such a diverse and stunning island. Big up yourself for pointing out the determination and resilience behind these beautiful homes! Blessings! 🏡✨

Mr Red and Madge, I used to live in NYC and I visited Montego Bay, I did not want to go back to New York. The houses were beautiful, clean just a serene feeling. I realize that the people have money but they pretend because they want mine and yours. 😆
Respect for sharing your experience, it's always interesting to hear diverse perspectives. Montego Bay certainly has a unique charm! As for Belvedere, it's indeed a space with serenity and beauty due to the affluence in the area. To each, their own experience, and perceptions, but truthfully, not everyone's intention is to pretend or want what others have got. Let's continue to enjoy the beauty Jamaica has to offer and share the positive vibrations. Bless up yourself!

Another excellent driving tour of the beautiful homes of upper st andrew.....the home with the unkept italian cypress i am pretty sure was the former home of a very popular jamaican strong man....and if you had continued up that road at 27:00 where the ghetto area was and taken the next right it would have taken you to the popular area known as LOOK OUT which is a viewing vantage point along red hills road which was frequented by couples on a date at nights back in the 80s and 90s to take in the views the city of kingston
Glad to see you enjoyed our luxury homes tour in Belvedere, Red Hills! Thanks for your insights about the former home of the popular Jamaican strong man. Big up for sharing your memories of Jamaica from the 80s and 90s. Bless up yourself!

Indeed, the wealth divide is a significant issue, not just in Jamaica but worldwide. It's important for societies to work toward ensuring fair pay and equal opportunities for all. We appreciate you sharing your perspective. Use our platform to continue this relevant conversation and bring awareness. Bless up.
@@glestonmorgan6151 Your point is undeniably valid. Ensuring that wealth is dispersed equitably is indeed a pressing matter. Thank you Tom and madge. This video was amazing! The houses and views from the top of the hills are just amazing! By the way, do you get a commission for announcing house for sale and prosperity for rent? u should. I too did not know that Jamaica was such a rich country. Thank you for the additional insight about Circle Farms and Circle Close! I knew there must be more to the story to have a street name like that.😂 We appreciate your knowledge and thank you for sharing the information! Bless up yourself.
Madge the term ghetto suggest that it’s a high crime area. Just because the homes are owned by people who are poor that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a ghetto.
Indeed, your input raises an important point. The use of the term "ghetto" was to describe the socio-economic status of the residents rather than to label the area as high crime. We respect all communities, and understand that wealth doesn't define the quality or character of a person or neighborhood. We welcome your vigilance, we need more awareness. Big up yourself!

Indeed, your knowledge on Jamaican geography is commendable! Red Hills in the lower areas is developed, but the upper areas are like Jack's Hill upper areas, rural. The higher up area is called west rural St Andrew. This area has been known to my family for over thirty years. Long time residents are of two minds regarding development, some even hope it does not travel too far up the hill.
Indeed, the dichotomy between the developed lower areas and the more rural upper expanses of Red Hills mirrors that of Jack's Hill. West Rural St Andrew's charm is undeniable, having captivated your family for over three decades. We can certainly understand the sentiments of longtime residents, whose ambivalence about further development is a testament to their attachment to the area's original character. We appreciate your insights and look forward to exploring more about this intriguing area. Big up yourself for sharing your stories and perspective! Blessings.
Thank you for your keen eye for detail. Indeed, some properties shown in our Symphony of Elegance video in the Shortwood Road area can be classified as townhouses. The diverse architectural styles are part of the charm of this prestigious area. We value your interaction, and it always helps in enhancing the quality of our content. Bless up yourself.
@RedButtonJournal I know I don't say much very often but I recommend your channel every chance I can, my niece in New Hampshire loves watching your videos, and so does my sister in Georgia. We love all your content. So when I can help you guys I try to help. Near the end when you came out on that main road had you turned up the road instead of down, you would have driven into Red Hills, the township of Red Hills.
@diannetgoldingfrankson2105 oh your comment was in the Belvedere video and I had Shortwood on my mind because I published it today. Your original comment applies either way. When I lived in a townhouse in Nebraska years ago, I called it an apartment then. 😂 Anywho, sometime we’ll have to drive up into Red Hills itself. Thanks for being a consistent supporter. Bless up yourself! ❤️❤️
Glad to see those positive vibes coming through ❤️👍🏾! Your spirit is simply warming our hearts. Big up yourself for the support. Peace and blessings to you!
True words! There are indeed significant wealth pockets in Jamaica, contributing to the overall cost of living. But let's not forget also the beauty and luxury that come with it, especially in amazing areas like Belvedere. It's all about finding that perfect balance. Thanks for your perspective - it certainly adds depth to the conversation. Bless up!
People leave for different or better opportunities. Sometimes people leave countries that are great just to see what's on the other side not that it is better.
Thanks for tuning in and showing love to our vlogs! Red Hills has a rich mix of neighborhoods, each with its own charm and stories to tell. We're glad you're enjoying the journey with us through such vibrant areas. Big up yourself!
Is it not a choice. Just like the local pastors take expensive vacations and fly first class but ask for Pastor love offerings and those same church members can only go to Six Flags for fun.

We appreciate your perspective. Indeed, the contrast between the grandeur of the homes and the road conditions could be striking. Let's hope the proper authorities take note and put some love into the roads soon. One love for taking time out to express your thoughts and giving us a chance to give you a guided tour. Stay tuned to Red Button for more eye-catching content from Jamaica. Bless up!

Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts! You're right, the roads can be a bit challenging, but Belvedere's charm still shines through with its stunning views and luxury homes. We appreciate you watching and commenting. Bless up!

Yes indeed, Tom and Madge are a couple, sharing their love for Jamaica together. About the language, Madge speaks English but in that unique, rich Jamaican dialect we all appreciate. Regarding her age, she’s actually several years younger than Tom. But seriously, isn't age just a number when you're experiencing such beauty and luxury? We're glad you found us through your Jamaica vlogs search, be sure to keep on rolling with us to continue the journey of exploring Jamaica's gem spots. Big up yourself!
Don’t say some how people are living in Jamaica. You’re there you’re making money and living. People have been living there longer than you have been and working hard. Respect the country and it’s people and don’t talk like a propaganda piece. Mississippi New Orleans and most of the southern states were and are considered underdeveloped yet you find wealthy people there living in places you and most of us can’t afford. The point is Jamaica has always been beautiful and rich but propaganda from certain governments outside of Jamaica take pleasure in spreading propaganda and lies to destabilise to take over. Madge is sitting there she talks with some knowledge so she should educate you on how to present about Jamaica. I know you didn’t mean to offend but try not to talk down about the country unless of course it warranted. Please bear in mind good and bad is EVERYWHERE in this world. I love watching but I’ll always be direct with my comments.
We appreciate your directness and respect for the Jamaican way of life. Yes, you're right, Jamaica has always been richly beautiful and we certainly celebrate that. We absolutely agree with you - good and bad is EVERYWHERE. And thanks for recognizing Madge’s knowledge, she's indeed a great source of wisdom! We aim to share our experiences without spreading negativity about any place we visit. Our intent is never to offend. Bless up yourself!
Madam, it did not come off as offensive. YOu do have people who think Jamaica is so poor and America does not know how good the education system is. CUNY, I remember taking an entrance test for college and of course I passed. The woman in the testing office said the West Indians alway pass. See that. People from Jamaica come over here and talk nonsense and tell Americans how they have to use banana leaves as toilet paper. That was not my experience nor did I have to go get water and carry it on my head. But when two people tell a story, Americans and others think everybody experienced that.
@@Happey67 😀😀😀not banana leaves for toilet paper. I know many including myself that carried water during a lock off during the summer but that didn’t stop us from going to school or just living. I know some like to believe the worst and paint everyone with the same brush 😀😀😀

Not in red hills hon from house start it's no more than four years
Indeed, you're absolutely right! Let's continue to enjoy the beauty Jamaica has to offer and share the positive vibrations. Bless up yourself!
Congratulations, you have reached 10k.

Beautiful! I just wish the government will fix the roads. I believe if enough people petition the gov, roads will get fixed.
Some a these roads are not government roads

There's a lot of money in Jamaica but it doesn't trickle down the way it should people need to be paid better
Absolutely you’re so right that’s why a lot of us got to migrate , further more of lot of people in Jamaica bring down others to bill up their self.
Indeed, the wealth divide is a significant issue, not just in Jamaica but worldwide. It's important for societies to work toward ensuring fair pay and equal opportunities for all. We appreciate you sharing your perspective. Use our platform to continue this relevant conversation and bring awareness. Bless up.

Thank you Tom and madge. This video was amazing! The houses and views from the top of the hills are just amazing! By the way, do you get a commission for announcing house for sale and prosperity for rent? u should. I too did not know that Jamaica was such a rich country.

That area was Circle Farms and the cul-de-sac is named after it ... hence Circle Close
Real talk
Indeed, your input raises an important point. The use of the term "ghetto" was to describe the socio-economic status of the residents rather than to label the area as high crime. We respect all communities, and understand that wealth doesn't define the quality or character of a person or neighborhood. We welcome your vigilance, we need more awareness. Big up yourself!
Wow ❤❤❤beautiful go slow

At the other side of that range on the opposite side of the valley @ 34:58 is where plantation heights is located also the homes being seen on the range are the homes at michael terrace where you took that short drive and aborted ....and at the base of that said mountain range on the oter side is duhaney park and patrick city.... and also belvedere road runs between the two ranges
The apartments youre looking at on the hill at 38:00 are actually located on red hills road at that FAMOUS LOOK OUT area....
Lol tom for my last comment i guess i should have watched the entire video before making my comments about the look out point and the apartments 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 because u ended up exiting the community onto red hills road where the sitting areas are located...

Jamaica is a beauty, I think that area you call ghetto is actually called a Rural area in Kingston or St Andrew, whichever parish you are driving in.
Indeed, your knowledge on Jamaican geography is commendable! Tom, I am sure you know by.now that the richer the neighborhoods, in Jamaica, the worse the roads!
For sure, we understand the contradiction well. The roads might be a challenge, but the beauty and luxury of neighborhoods like Belvedere make it worthwhile. We hope Jamaican infrastructure continues to improve to match the splendor of its communities. Thanks for your insight and input into this discussion. Blessings and big up yourself!

Sir, even in Haiti which is considered a 4th world country, there are wealthy people there. Oh yes!
Yes indeed, wealth and luxury are not exclusive to any one country or culture. There is wealth to be found everywhere, and that includes Haiti. Showing the beautiful homes of Belvedere, Jamaica in this video was not to imply otherwise but merely to share a taste of the luxury that is present here. Hope you enjoyed experiencing it with us! Yes indeed, there's a lot of pride that goes into these homes, each detail meticulously thought out. We appreciate you taking your time to watch and comment on the video. It's delightful to share the brilliance of Belvedere with you all, showcasing not just the homes, but the passion too. Big up to you for recognizing and appreciating this! Bless up yourself!
Yes money is here in Jamaica
And poverty is real in America.
Absolutely, wealth is surely present in Jamaica, displaying itself in the breathtaking architecture of areas like Belvedere. Keep on exploring our videos for more hidden gems in Jamaica. Blessings.
True words! Money and poverty are global realities we face, and it's up to us to do our part in building each other up. We appreciate your real talk and we’er glad you enjoyed our peek into the luxury of Belvedere. Bless up yourself!
Blessings.
Some of the places you are calling apartments are in fact townhouses.
@RedButtonJournal , haven't watched Shortwood one as yet, I had missed out the Belvedere one so I was catching up, lol

Hi Tom/madge🥹🙏
Hello there!
There is lots of $$$in Jamaica just expensive to live.😊
Bless up!
Than why do so many leave, if there’s so much money there?
I think many foreigners and Jamaican people that have money do their building of homes. ???🙏
Also if u don’t have funds The hospital services not great 😒🙏
@@paulinebutler9787 yes, I agree. Homes are so diverse in styles.
People leave for different or better opportunities. Sometimes people leave countries that are great just to see what's on the other side not that it is better.
I was one of them that left and regretted it but too broke to move back
Ghetto area or maybe the poorer areas didn't know that Red Hills had ghettos

They will beg for money but are richer than the person they are begging 😂
Is it not a choice. Just like the local pastors take expensive vacations and fly first class but ask for Pastor love offerings and those same church members can only go to Six Flags for fun.
Loving the humor in your comment! 😂 We're video creators who rely on support from our viewers to keep bringing these stunning home tours to you. So, big up yourself and keep the comments coming! Blessings! 🏡🇯🇲
I dont know why these beautiful homes and the road a so bad.
I just sent an email to the government concerning that.
Bless up!
Ma'am, it's not Ghetto up there , it's rural! Know the difference!
Thanks for your viewpoint, we genuinely appreciate it. We agree, Red Hills does embody more of a rural atmosphere. We'll ensure to use more accurate descriptions in our future videos. Exposure to diverse perspectives like yours help us grow. Bless up yourself!
@@RedButtonJournal thanks for being understanding.
The roads are real bad to be called a nice neighborhood.
Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts! You're right, the roads can be a bit challenging, but Belvedere's charm still shines through with its stunning views and luxury homes. We appreciate you watching and commenting. Bless up!
Road look awful for such an expensive neighborhood
Appreciate your observation! The road conditions definitely play a big part in the overall feel of the area. We're hopeful improvements will be on the way to match the luxury. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts. Big up yourself!
Are they husband and wife. How comes she can’t speak English? And she looks way older. I don’t know I just type in Jamaica vlogs.
Hi yes they are a couple.Madge is a Jamaican but was living in the USA for yrs before going back to JA to live 🙏☺️
She doesn't look older but she's wearing a hat and glasses or as you Jamaicans would say eye glass, so that can make people look a little different.
She can speak English but some people are more talkative than others. Is that all you have to say?
