I got no words to describe my happiness about our living legends coming back. We got so many news along with this single, you probably already know, but you can find all that info in their official "place".
But one of the important news on this new single is that finally SuMetal achieve one of her dreams becoming songwriter, she's credited officially and we couldn't be more proud of her.❤️
Everything about this song sounds a banger for me, since the obscure tone and heavy riffs start, passing through that drum&bass section that i used to jam a lot before meeting BM, and those lyrics with the symphonic touch imbuing epicness and willing to fight for your future.
Unlike Road Of Resistance this lyrics got more darker tone and it sounds more like a call to arms.
Btw many fans (including me) are linking the lyrics of this song and the cavalry and horse imagery to Attack On Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin) and once you know what they're saying it makes totally sense at least as an homage, but we'll see how is the story of these worlds inside of this metalverse and the new lore they created. SuMetal had develop her skill to tell stories and take it to another level.
And I understand everyone saying that this song is giving them anime vibes, so cool you also mentioned about Attack On Titan too lol

Great reaction. I have no idea if this is true, but it seems to me a "visualizer" involves putting some sort of visual images linked to the song or the album into a computer that then mixes them up to play along with the music - it is not a music video.
Whether there will be a music video released for this song later - not a clue.
What we do know - BABYMETAL are back. This was their first new song in 3 years (apart from the collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon of course) and as a taster for the new album I think its a great start.
Also for the first time Su-metal is credited with writing the lyrics.
We have 4 more new songs to look forward to between now (one a month apart from December - maybe one or two of them will get official music videos) and the new album which comes out in March. 🤘🦊
They have two concerts scheduled for January at the Makuhari Messe in Japan and in April and May Sabaton have invited them to join their tour of the UK and Europe as special guests.

with what you said about live i can understand. no other band is like this where a song comes out and we all are looking forward to the live version. because we know it will be so much more hitting and heavy. i love this song with Su's mature vocals. i can not think of any other band where the live is more anticipated than the actual song. we know this song will be live in January when Babymetal comes back live. another song will come out this month and none in December and maybe one in January before the tour starts. yes a new concept album is coming out in March, The Other One.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。The third era (or fourth?) of BABYMETAL has just begun. I reconfirmed the purity of Su's voice even with some maturity. Moa's velvety but powerful voice in the back sounds great, too. The first thing came up in my brain was Dante's "The Divine Comedy". A figure with wings reminded me of Beatrice in purgatory. The sacred image is overlapping with Su and Moa, but we all know that is just one of their various faces that we are going to witness from now on. Let's not be judgmental in haste. Hail to the newly born lyricist Su!! 😍

'Divine Attack - Shingeki' is the first of five new singles from the upcoming 10 track concept album 'THE OTHER ONE'.
The album is due out March 24th, 2023.
Each of the 10 songs will explore a different alternate world in the overall "Metalverse".
Music and arrangement are by MEGMETAL (Wada Megumi) and Hayato Yamamoto.
MEGMETAL was heavily involved in the 'Metal Galaxy' album.
Lyrics for this song are by Su-metal, a promising young songwriter from Hiroshima. : )
BABYMETAL have a couple of big headlining concerts coming up on January 28th and 29th, 2023 in Japan.
Hoping we get some live footage from those.
They will also be special guests on Sabaton's 'The Tour To End All Tours' for 24 shows in Europe from April 14th to May 20th, 2023.
Nice reaction. Yes, Mattables is a favorite of mine. The Goddess and her Angel are returning! I can’t wait to see them live starting in January 2023. Unfortunately, that is a pipe dream for many foreigners, but I respectfully bow to their countrymen. They deserve first take at tickets. I wish I had known about the Sabaton concerts with BM before it was announced. I would have gladly flown to Europe to attend. Everything is still good though. I will happily follow them around the US whenever that happens. If it happens! My only desire is for either more performances, or more arena venues. Granted, everyone should feel blessed to witness an up close small venue.

Good Reaction! But I have to say this because it bothered me: it's unfortunate if Babymetal's songs sound like the intro to a Japanese anime, because anime songs always sound better. Because anime songs always sound better. BABYMETAL is in a fundamentally different arena and has never been involved in any anime production in its 10-year history. Of course there are no unique vocalists like Su in the anime music community, and their chorus is the only thing J-Pop-like about them. Japanese anime music is seen as a subservient "musical accompaniment" to highlight the animation, and as a fan of Babymetal, I feel unwilling to be lumped in with it.
I don't get the anime thing.
Suzuka will be 82 years old and releasing a new single or something and people will keep saying "this is like an anime intro"... or something like that. 🙄
It's just a stereotype. And I'm personally liking the typical comment less and less. And I have nothing against anime. I've watched some, actually.
This is supposed to be a more mature song and part of a concept album. So, I don't get it.

I'm saying it has the intensity and umph energy that an anime opener brings. Ive done several babymetal reacts and never said this comment previously. Please do not just clump me into some generic stereotype off of one comment on one video.
@@SlayWithBrandy No disrespect intended, but we hear it all the time. I can't speak for other people here but my comment was really about the fact that every western BABYMETAL reactor seems to say the same thing at some point. Maybe you're not part of a homogeneous clump of reactors but you did say it.
It's like anime is the one cultural reference point we have to go by. As you'll know, there's a whole lot more to Japanese culture and music than the tiny fragments we consume.
Nothing personal. Many of us have commented with the same observation on many videos by many different reactors.
The other comment we see all the time is "WTF did I just watch?" That's not so frustrating because most of us have been there. It's an admission of our difficulty in processing the unexpected and the unfamiliar.
The anime thing is more uncomfortable to hear because it kind of feels that we reduce cultures of which we only have a superficial understanding to their most successful pop-culture exports.

@RoadRunner I too am frustrated with virtually all non-Japanese reactors associating Babymetal to an!me (part of the silent majority). I believe because for most reactors their only understanding or references to Japanese culture and music comes from an!me. The reactors that don't associate BM to an!me are those with a greater exposure to and understanding of Japanese culture; such as ex-pat living/have lived in Japan, people learning to speak Japanese, studying Japanese culture, etc. It feels like the same battle we experienced with metalhead gatekeepers (elitists).
But I think @Slay With Brandy should be given a pass on this one.
