@@hers6694Su is now 26 and Moa 24. Momoko just enzered Sakura Gakuin when Moa and Yui left. In fact she wanted to join the Hard Music Club, that was terminated when Babymetal became its own entity.

Moa is just amazing and goddam she can sing too. It always brings a tear to the eye.. Luv it. Babymetal can involve and evoke emotions from the crowd better than any performers I have ever seen.
It was Moa Kikuchi's 20th birthday! This show was in Nagoya, capital of Moa Kikuchi's (MoaMetal) home province. In the audience were all her childhood friends and neighbors and most of her family. In the front row were her best friends outside of Babymetal, who appeared in the video on their knees bowing to Moa!
"Hedoban hedoban!" "Ban ban ban ban!" 🦊🤘🛐 You guys welcome back to the Foxhole, it's been a while. Nice reaction, but you met an awesome track but with the wrong version to fully understand the meaning, don't get me wrong, we love MoaMetal and the original clip but this is a one off version only performed during MoaMetal 20 Birthday in 2019 (she's the one taking the mic from SuMetal the lead singer), is actually a live compilation with footage of another concert including one of the US (LA Forum iirc) and Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, that's another great version to watch full in its own right, but all these version are after 2018 when one of the original member (YuiMetal ) left the group, so that's why I always suggest live at Legend 1997 held in 2013 when YuiMetal was still there, the third backup dancer you saw here is another non official member, as well two other girls back then called "avengers", however one of them now becomes an official member since April, she's MomoMetal. Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! is a really special song and beloved by BM fans, all of us love BM with all our hearts, but don't get fooled by this moment when all the crowd is vowing down on their knees, they're just doing what they since the very first MV when came out this song in 2012, they're summoning the metal spirit in a form of neckbrace which represents the Hedoban god and also is a tribute to the living legend Yoshiki from X-Japan. Anyway short story short the song talks about a girl going to her first live concert, probably metal, during her 15th birthday, while having melancholy for leaving her childhood behind, 15 is a special b-day and coming of age much like Sweet 16 in the US, this wasn't about any of the girls but they hug this song like it was meant to be for them, later on they performed this during special events like 15, 16 (during Legend 1997) or 20 another coming of age like you saw here. During this year and World Tour they only play this song at Japanese shows but recently at the Babyklok Tour in US along with Dethklok, they started to performed it again and fans are going nuts with this and the whole set. Anyway I'm really glad you enjoyed this and hope to see you coming back soon with another BM song, you got a long journey to travel in this beautiful madness. The Moabanger version of this song was a one off that took place at BABYMETAL ARISES - BEYOND THE MOON - LEGEND - M in Nagoya, which is Moa's home town. The concert was in celebration of her 20th birthday, which is why Moa took over the lead vocal on Headbangerrr!!! The guitarists for Legend M were Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus.
Great reaction, but that is the trouble with having the closed captions on, they are distracting and a lot of what they are saying is lost in the translations anyway. You are better off just watching and listening - as Su-metal once said "Don't think. Feel." We will always explain what the songs are about in the comments. You got it. The audience at BABYMETAL concerts really are part of the act, crowd participation is a big part of it and the crowd get their cues on when to jump, shout, pump their fists, chant or whatever from the girls, that is a major part of Moa's and originally Yui's, now Momoko's role in the group. 'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first concert on her 15th birthday. But 15 is a significant age in Japan as it also marks the end of compulsory education, so the girl is realising she will no longer be considered as a child, life will never be the same and those first 15 years passed by so quickly, so she is etching this special night into her heart so she will never forget. What you found here was a very special performance on Moa's 20th birthday in 2019. Half way through the song Su handed Moa the mic and stand for her to finish the song as lead vocalist. They also changed the lyrics to "...this special night of my 20..." , the official age of majority in Japan is 20, so Moa is officially an adult - and she got to take over lead vocals for 'Headbanger'. The same thing happened at concerts in 2014 on or near their 15th birthdays when Yui (in Paris) and Moa (in Cologne) took the mic and stand from Su to sing lead vocals for the second half of the song. There are only fancam videos of those performances. What is equally impressive in those and in this performance is the way Su-metal slips seamlessly into their place in the choreo and performs it faultlessly.

The song is basically about a 15 year old girl going to her first metal concert. There will be others to provide much more detail but that is the basic idea. This particular performance is a special one because it is a celebration of Moametal's 20th birthday. The entire concert was for Moametal actually. As a present to her, and us, she got the chance to take over the lead singing role this one time and show off her voice. It also gave the usual lead singer, Su-Metal, the opportunity to show off her dancing skills at full extent as they switched roles for this song.

The song is about a girl going to her first metal show on the evening of her 15th birthday. This is from Moas 20th birthday show so they've changed the lyrics 20th. Moa also sang it on her 15th birthday in...err...Cologne, Germany (Or was it in Paris maybe?) by the way.

Originally it was Suzuka talking about her 15th year (age 15) the lyrics were adjusted to twenty as Moa had just turned 20 here because Moa being allowed to take the lead was in honor of her 20th birthday. Part of the original lyrics of the song are "15の夜を忘れはしない" the words "ichi go" (one five) are used instead of "juu go" (fifteen). Anyway it just translates to something like "I'll never forget the night of my 15th birthday." However, the day of this specific concert it was Moa's 20th birthday... so they gave her the microphone and changed song lyrics from "ichi go" to ""hatachi" which means "20 years old" This translates to something like "I'll never forget the night of my 20th birthday." In Japanese it's "20歳の夜を忘れはしない". Also, the concert took place in Moa's hometown of Nagoya.
I was in a concert with Babymetal on Tuesday and it was an insane experience. I'm 100% trying to see if I can get to at least one more show on their current EU/UK tour. It's SO worth it!
omg... I haven't seen you guys react to Babymetal in a million years it seems. I think if I remember correctly, before you used to sit in what appeared to be a family room or something like that with your kitchen behind you. Anyhow, It's basically a song about a teenage girl going to her first metal concert. They may have tweaked the lyrics somewhat for THIS version however, as this was a special performance in which Moametal took over the lead vocalist role as it was her birthday around the same time (her birthday I think was the day before or something really close to that). This song is actually part of a trilogy called the trilogy of death. This song, along with the song Akatsuki Unfinished, and then Babymetal Death! are the three songs of the trilogy. I don't know how much about Babymetal you guys know as it's been a long time since you reacted to them (shame on you!! lol), but in case you aren't aware, Babymetal has a lot of lore tied to them. They love creating lore and story behind their group. So for this song it's about a teenager going to her first metal concert as I mentioned. The next song is about the fox god wishing to transform her from a JPop idol into the metal goddess and her having doubts. The last song ... well... is the transformation where she becomes the metal goddess we all know and love. That's a very basic and crude rundown, but it also serves to kind of explain how it all ties together as far as I understand things. As for you mentioning that the crowd is almost a part of the band, you aren't that far off. The girls have said on more than one occasion that the fans ARE a part of the band and plays an important part of who and what makes Babymetal. They love their fans very much and they show it over and over. They try and involve their fans into the songs as much as possible. To see this react to Road of Resistance Live in Japan Official for a very good example of this. They became very humbled when they learned that international fans were learning how to speak Japanese JUST so they could sing along with them in the concerts. As such they made, in essence, a love song to the fans which they entitled The One. Incidentally, that is what they call the fanbase as well. In their last concert before they went on a 2 year hiatus during the pandemic, at one point in the concert they had a small break in the middle of a song just so they could thank the world for all the love they've shown Babymetal throughout the years basically. These girls, even though they are pretty much set for life now, and are one of, if not THE biggest band in Japan are still very humble, kind, and "normal" human beings. They don't seem to have developed an over arching ego wherein they think they're the cats meow. Then genuinely seem grateful for everything that's been handed down to them and they know it's all thanks to the fans. Anyhow, I kind of went off on a tangent and lost my train of thought, but I think I answered everything you were asking. Hopefully that fills some gaps for you. Also, hopefully you start doing more Babymetal reactions! lol
" I haven't seen you guys react to Babymetal in a million years it seems." They haven't done that now either. They spent the whole time desperately trying to read the captions. That's all they did.🤔
The best representation of this song ever ! Moa took the lead with so much confidence, Su was smart and wise to do that, she know how Moa is popular and Momo was also great !
The special of this version is that Moa takes over the lead in the song. And the most suprising fact for many was: OMG! She can sing too! I love this performance. I want to share a fact about the movie you mentioned in the last part of the video, "The Golden Glove" ("Der goldene Handschuh" in german). The bar still exists. It is a family business in the 4th generation. And it is creepy like in the movie. 😉 Nice reaction video and greetings from germany.
as far as the text is concerned. you don't know the lyrics to a song? GOOGLE KNOWS IT!!! Nothing is easier than that. You can also do this in advance of a reaction. or not? You are one of the very common people who cannot watch videos/songs without the subtitles. Can't you just let the act take effect? If you hadn't tried desperately to read the text while reacting, you might have caught something from the video. At least I saw that something was distracting you. stoned, strained face. no reaction to what happened in the video. At first I asked myself why? but you explained it yourself. subtitles..arrrgh.*sigh* that's a 'C' at best. here, the lyrics that I found in less than 2 minutes.
Also, hopefully you start doing more Babymetal reactions! lol
" I haven't seen you guys react to Babymetal in a million years it seems."
They haven't done that now either. They spent the whole time desperately trying to read the captions. That's all they did.🤔
🔥👺🔥
The best representation of this song ever !
Moa took the lead with so much confidence, Su was smart and wise to do that, she know how Moa is popular and Momo was also great !
Kano Fujihara was the Avenger at the Legend M show. 😉
albert so exited hahaha
Awesome guys 😊😅😂🎉🎉❤❤❤
The special of this version is that Moa takes over the lead in the song. And the most suprising fact for many was: OMG! She can sing too! I love this performance.
I want to share a fact about the movie you mentioned in the last part of the video, "The Golden Glove" ("Der goldene Handschuh" in german). The bar still exists. It is a family business in the 4th generation. And it is creepy like in the movie. 😉
Nice reaction video and greetings from germany.

I listen to this song whenever my boss said "you wasted my money "
The bowing is so awesome
as far as the text is concerned. you don't know the lyrics to a song? GOOGLE KNOWS IT!!! Nothing is easier than that. You can also do this in advance of a reaction. or not? You are one of the very common people who cannot watch videos/songs without the subtitles. Can't you just let the act take effect? If you hadn't tried desperately to read the text while reacting, you might have caught something from the video. At least I saw that something was distracting you. stoned, strained face. no reaction to what happened in the video. At first I asked myself why? but you explained it yourself. subtitles..arrrgh.*sigh*
that's a 'C' at best.
here, the lyrics that I found in less than 2 minutes. All you have to do is remove the number '15' and insert '20' (the concert was on Moa's 20th birthday)
With the legendary black long hair disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower will soon disappear fruitlessly.
[Headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang!
Bang, bang, ba, bang!]
Now the time has come. I no longer hesitate.
I hold tightly the discount railway tickets.
To the east, to the west, to the south, to the north,
today too I rush to the very front of the stage center.
On the left side, [Come on!] on the right side, [Come on!]
standing up still, leaning back,
jumping toward the stage, [And then!] leaning over the fence, [And then!]
rolling over the mob, [And then!] and then all deeply headbanging.
This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget.
All the crybabies, get out of here!
With the legendary black long hair disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower will soon disappear fruitlessly.
It'll never come back again and it's so short period.
I etch in my heart this special night of my fifteen.
I jump lightly and dance in the air.
Headbanger!
[[Headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang, headbang!]]
[Head, head, head, head]
This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget.
All the crybabies, from here dis-ap-pear!
This special night of my fifteen, I'll never forget.
All that disturb us, right now get out of here!
With the legendary black long hair disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower will soon disappear fruitlessly.
It'll never come back again and it's so short period.
