Looks like a nice easy upgrade, and also a potential alternative to fitting the wider 265/75 tyres which many people fit _purely_ to achieve this sort of look to their vehicle. And the wider tyres, whilst nice, do have some drawbacks off road. It's a case of horses for courses on that one. I guess you should consider this now when you get around to replacing your tyres. We talked in another comments section that we have the same tyres on our Land Rovers and we are both keen to replace them! Probably for some Goodyears in my case. But I am going to let tyre wear run its course first which will probably take at least one more year. Anyway maybe the wider tyre would not be a great idea with the spacers fitted too? They would stick out too much? Also, please let us know in a future video about your long term experience. Does this result in flicking mud and crap all up the side of your vehicle? Would it be advisable to fit wider body arches at the same time as these spacers to combat that? Cheers!
Finally, long overdue! I’ve had 30mm spacers on mine for 70k with no bearing issues and even intended repacking the bearings recently but they didn’t need it. For tyres, I’d suggest the Cooper STTs which are great and look good with the only negative being their noise on tarmac or alternatively (as I’ve recently done) try the BFG KO2s which are much quieter and reasonable off road albeit their wet tarmac grip isn’t great. What about the white wheels you were thinking about?
I know! Glad I finally got around to doing it - really happy neither the results. As for the white wheels, I’m still so torn for options at the moment, I’m going to have to bite the bullet at some point though
I’ve had spacers for over 70k miles no issues at all. I also have the black wheel nuts but they are already rusting up after a tyre change may be only 6 months old now which is disappointing. Scout is looking great though
Fair play. Its so much harder working on the defender at home without a garage, especially with the way the weather has been in the UK recently
100% - it’s definitely trickier but still love working on it
These look so ace Zach. On my list to do! (Little White 90 - Ian)
Before watching I had several suggestions ready to add for this job, but you nailed every one of them. Top job, looks great!
Thanks! Glad I hopefully managed to cover all the tips and tricks
No one likes having swollen nuts! Good video. I’ve got spacers on mine and I love how it feels
Haha, swollen nuts are no fun!
I really like the overall black style.. clean and nice look.
Thanks!
Nice one mate! Good stance. P.s. Nice Socks!
Haha, thanks mate! Too jazzy?

Looks mint
I got them for mine but can’t recall if 30mm or 20mm
Thanks! Really happy with the new stance
What are we torquing these up to?

What black wheel nuts did you use? Where from?
I got them from LR Parts- let's see how they hold up. I've put a link in the description
loved the improved turning circle but had to remove mine as they caused the steering to shake above 60
Need to get out on some faster roads and test mine out

Thanks! Yes I’ve heard this about the black wheel nuts - I’ll have to keep an eye on them and see how they go
OMG, what real world Defender owner knows all this already?
Are these 25mm or 30mm spacers?
Spacers are 30mm
what are the small mud guards that stick out from the side on the front and rear did you buy them or just make them up
Why these fucking music ?
Breath…
