Interesting, so in the end it really wasn't so different of an ending in the sense that returning all the Krazoa spirits would reveal the true final villain(s). So that means that Draqor's warning of the Krazoa being bad news was true. So General Scales, Draqor, and the Krazoa were all problematic in their own way, each worse than the last.
yeah General Scales wanted to rule the world with a iron fist. Drakor wanted to destroy the planet and wipe out the Krazoa by any means and resurrect the ancient Kamarian and return to his world to force his people to return to their warlike ways. Krazoa wanted to merge with their god the Quan Ata Lachu and set the galaxy on fire in endless chaos to remake it in any way they see fit.
Even if this is just speculative, it paints a very interesting picture of how things might go and makes for a compelling audio drama. The idea that Fox and Krystal basically just chuck Randorn into the portal to save his life without giving him time to listen to his confession both demonstrates the urgency of the situation and is also a bit funny because he got denied his dramatic moment 'cuz THERE'S NO TIME OLD MAN GET IN THE PORTAL! The SFA Area 6 remix is also very appropriate music for this scene and the Krazoa slowly calling out each of the Majestic 8 as they come into alignment really heightens the tension. Great work!
Did anyone realise this beta already called Dinosaur Planet, Sauria? That’s quite a big deal as it implies that was always originally the intended name. Perhaps the Krazoa knew of the planet for 3 billion years by that name, or did the dinosaurs always have that name? People thought Star Fox Assault started that name but now we know it’s far from the truth.
I remember listening to all these clips in the Demo kiosk disc many years ago and thinking "Man, all this stuff with the Krazoa sounds amazing" This game had so much interesting lore and world building especially with the characters like the Krazoa who appeared to be more then just mystical beings that were worshipped for the wrong reason, as well as the Kamarian Dragon.
Indeed. The voice clips paint a interesting picture and I hope something of it may actually be uncovered in the leaked build. As I presented in this video the voice clips could've worked pretty well as a final boss with a countdown timer.
@@summersetbanjo7440 maybe this explains why Miyamoto also thought of putting Star Fox characters in because they are intergalactic bounty warriors who would try to save many planets from destruction like they do in that series in a way. It had that similarity I guess. It might have been clever if there were Andross who manipulates the Krazoa to become evil but I guess you wouldn’t wNt to tamper the story too much. Had they kept the core of DP and added Starfox we might have had the best of both worlds wit a more believable story....maybe..
@@KetwunsGamingPad I feel the same way. Really they didn't have to cut or change too much of Dinosaur Planet to make it a starfox story. They really changed more than what they actually needed to do.
