Just caught back on this for a project of mine. Man, what a blessing. In a time of self righteous and mediocre "well, that just happened" films, watching such a creative and heartfelt drama with so much sincerity - to the point of being corny, which I love - is so refreshing. DeMonaco is a criminally underrated filmmaker, and once again the critics got it all wrong.
I enjoyed Blumhouse's Invisible Man(horror), Upgrade (Action),Freaky(Vince Vaughn Comedy), and James Demonico's Staten Island(2009) movies....Maybe it's because of COVID-19, blumhouse make trailer low budget? It was like a home video movie.. Blumhouse It's getting bigger and bigger.....pls make a funny movies more + dont make trash movies...like ...you know..(ex Black Christmas ,THE CRAFT: LEGACY , Fantasy Island)
