парни вы неправильно протачиваете в чистовой размер. Нужно с подпирать диск задней бабкой и протачивать обе плоскости с одной установки(так быстрее и правильнее)

my brembo brakes are made in germany. this garbage will be used in south east asia and end up on "tata" cars and junk like that. you won't see them in the west. if you put this on a typical american 3 ton truck, you're not going to be able to stop. you can't just melt random different grades of steel and put into a stressful situation. it will deform or break right away. but on the little tonka toys they drive in asia, they work fine. typical cars you find in the US will use brakes made by continental, sumutimo, advics, etc. they are made in the us, mexico, italy, japan, austria, czech republic, china, etc. basically any country where people have shoes.

I have never seen so much manual handling for one part in my life and that is going back many years. I suppose labor costs are so low to make it profitable. There is obviously nothing spent on worker safety, buildings, or machinery maintenance and updates. I have seen this part being made in Mexico and the only human involvement is when the rotor blanks, loaded in a crate, are delivered to the line and the pallet of boxed rotors is picked up at the other end of the line and taken to the warehouse. Each line was two CNC machines with one robotic arm for loading, some conveyor track, a cleaning section, and the packaging section all automated, then another robot arm that stacked them on the pallet where it was wrapped for pick-up. i have never seen rotors painted before.

The main difference in the west is that our workers have better and safer working conditions and cnc machines plus automation replace the people. Yes we have better process and quality control but overall the process is the same. Their moulds and machines are all likely ex British bought when the uk sold off its industry. My main complaint would be that the scrap iron being used should be refined in huge batches to remove inconsistencies in material across batches.
How are you going to true up the inside of the plates? I wonder how well balanced these will be. I prefer the quality and better precision of American made!
Balancing is usually done in the machining as the last step before coating or painting. It is done while cutting some part of the outer ring. No mark of cut, no balancing, this lead to NVH issues. Here there is no balancing
