If you buy a business in the US and the E2 Visa isn't approved, what happens to the business and money invested? Seems backwards to me. How can you buy a business and invest $200,000 without knowing if you can legally live and work there?

I heard the E2 process is taking 6 months or more and most resale businesses won’t wait that long in escrow, unless buying a new franchise.
_I'm interested to see possibilities as a marketer entrepreneur ntending become my business in operational stage in U.S., however not being in U.S. yet, which options nowadays would be the best one, I don't know anyone physically in US too. The E2 visa is like a one night stand except its for two years. You goto the US and 'open' a business, while America gets your money. Both are happy and you leave.
