Hi Wendy! Instead of mixing the pigments into to resin that’s ready try this, measure part A and part B into their separate cups then mix the pigment into the part that is not the hardener before you mix the two parts together? That would give you more time to make sure the pigments are mixed in well 🥰
I was going to come say the same thing. Mix colors into Part A, then mix A and B. ❤
😀😀😀 I’ve done that before 😂😂 but this time, well I guess I just wasn’t thinking 😂😂 thank you ❤️👍
They look great! I've made so many of those geckos. People love them so much. If you bend the tail a little bit inward and let it cure that way, it makes it easier to hang it up on the wall. ⭐
Such gorgeous colors in these neon colors set,ms Wendy. The tutorial is amazing with those lovely molds. The lizard and the frog came out gorgeous, the colors look gorgeous 😍
Every body says watch toonpish and Daniel cooper .I am glad I did.ul and I am so amazed at your talent. I love these animals. Simply beautiful.
Wow, thank you! 🥰🥰🥰 that is so sweet ❤️ I’m glad you enjoy my little channel ❤️❤️
Another extraordinary project with these extraordinary neon powders,Ms Wendy 💜💜.The lizard and frogs eyes look so cool, the colors look so perfect and mesmerizing when seen in dark. And the final results are truly amazing 😍😍😍😍
I love those! I would never thought to try something like this. I have those colors to. Just amazing. 😍
Hi Wendy! 🙋🏻♂️ Those neon colours are so vibrant! 🤩 I agree with you, the frog is my fav too! 😀👍
Have a nice day! 🙋🏻♂️💕
Absolutely Gorgeous Wendy 😍 I love them both. Take great care and keep creating and smiling xoxo ❤
These are gorgeous Wendy and don't worry about the newt's missing toe - newts have the ability to grow a new one😂😂
Both of these have make me smile, they are awesome, the mottled texture will probably be from the brush strokes using the dry powder. Thanks for sharing Wendy 😊
Those turned out adorable!! I also think it looks like skin… happy accidents…😁
Those are so cool! I love neon colors! The newt is my favorite. I really love that purple!
Hi Wendy love these great technique 👌 love the look it gave 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Ms. Wendy, You ROCK!!! I had so much fun watching this video! I used my neons for the first time today & they blended well with Let’s Resin hard type after setting for a couple minutes. Thanks for the fun, these are amazing!!! So many molds, so little time 😊 Have a great week, new friend!!!
Shared. They are so cool and fun. You make me laugh about the green- I had to bite the bullet and make it green 😂. He's a frog- it's ok if he's green 🤣
Wow, they are awesome . Love the colors . With the ones that dried on you , you could break them up and use them in another mold .
I think they turned out fantastic! I love the patchiness, it makes the skins look more realistic!💖
They turned out great! Love the frog. Cute little ending song. Thank you! 💜 🐸 🦎
Thank you Wendy they’re very bright and colourful, I may have to get some neons lol x❤
They look great. The patchiness just adds texture! So vibrant and fun.
Wendy, I think they're both just absolutely adorable! Thank you for another great video. By the way...frog skin is supposed to be mottled, so he's just perfect.
Good to know that Let’s Resin neon powders works well with PU..thank you Wendy!
They came out so cool! They look textured like the real thing except brighter...Good job Wendy!
I’ve never worked with the neons but like the effect you get. I break toes off the turtles all time😂 a challenge for sure💕
Oh, jeeeze... I'm bent.. watching this, my music obsessed head popped up with "This neon stuff goes round the outside, round the outside, round the outside!"
You did an amazing job. I love those colors !! I'm gonna try to make a small crystal butterfly. I want to see how the aurora colors will work with that mold !!
I love the way these turned out and the mottling is perfect! Great job once again!
I mix in the color in part B, then mix A and B together. Less stressful 😊 Frogs come in all sorts of colors. ❤️
@@Toonpish WOW! I actually gave you a tip, not the other way around. I’m in chock 😮
Has anyone told @LetsResin that they've spelt 'Purple' incorrectly on the neon powder? Fortunately Wendy makes everything look great 🙂
I’ve used the neons in epoxy without dusting like the intense micas. They came out terrific. It would have saved you the time and the grief!💚. And sorry. I do LOVE green.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion of green 🤔🤔 even if it’s the wrong opinion 😂😂
Only kidding 💜💜💜
Wendy! I'm completely shocked that you didn't mix the pigment in just one part of the resin! Lol Also, I don't know if you know this tip or not, but put your pigment in first and give a little squirt of alcohol and mix it until it dissolves. It helps to break it up so there's no blobs. 😊
Yes I know it and showed others too 😂😂😂 honestly I have no idea why I didn’t do it this time 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ but thank you for telling me 💜💜💜
They are adorable 😊
I guess you don't go outdoors much, it's pretty green out there😂😅😮
I love the outdoors 😀😀 spend all my time outside if I could 😂😂 but green belongs outside too 😂😂 imo thanks Ali 🥰
These are SO adorable, Wendy! I LOVE that froggy! 😊💕 I *really* like the clear resin you used first. It seems to showcase the neons better than if they'd been mixed into the resin. They both look so good. 💕😍
I love these molds, and I love, love neons! 😍 I grew up in the 70s, wearing eye-popping bright neons...I lived for them. 😅
Hey, do you think the neons would "stick" to the resin if you made a paste using iso alcohol?
🤔🤔🤔 why not try it and let me know 😀😀😀
Neons are and have always been bright lights to me 😀😀
I just love old neon signs 🥰🥰🥰🥰
They turned out great! You’re right, they do look like their skin is supposed to look. I’ve thought about trying the polyurethane but, I’m not sure if that time limit would work very well for me.😅 I’m more like a turtle than a gecko these days.😂 Thanks for another enjoyable video Wendy💜
As it’s a two part then mix the powder in only one part first and then add the second part just before you need to pore one at a time that should cut down on the panic of it setting while mixing. Just a thought😹😹
😂😂 I’ve done that so many times before 🤷♀️😂 I have no idea why I didn’t this time 🤭🤣 who knows what goes through my head on a daily basis 🤷♀️
I had just loaded the premier video when they turned off our phone and internet to work on the lines. NOOO!!!!! *sighs* Oh well, better late than never I suppose LOL OMG These are adorable!!! :D
You should try mixing just 1 part with color before you mix in the second part!
Yes yes yes you are totally correct 😀😀😀 I’ve no idea why on this day didn’t 🤷♀️😂😂😂💜
Hello everyone, Hello Wendy . Hope you are having a great day 😊
I think it might be patchy because you pour over powder and the liquid absorbed the powder unevenly before curing so fasted, but I love the effect ❤
Hi Wendy I'm not sure if you'll see this. I was wondering if the bangle silicone molds on let's resin website are for UV resin ?❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Honestly I haven’t used them. But looking on the website and imagining the size they seem to be for 2part epoxy. However, the silicone would be clear enough to let uv light through.
There is nothing to stop you using them for uv resin 😀💜👍
Amazing colours! Both frog and newt look quite exotic, and probably very poisonous, thanks to those pigments.
I did the eyes with sharpies on the back and the sharpie bled in the resin.
Can his toe be put back on wit UV?
UV doesnt make a good glue with 2 part epoxy. It would be better with 5 minuet epoxy glue if I could find it 🤣
Those came out great! I agree, it really gave a good reptile texture.
The "patchiness" is from the dry powder. Let's Resin has a paper with the neons that tells you it doesn't hydrate / blend as quickly as the micas and other powders so you really have to take time to let them soak up. Add just a bit of resin to start, and really smear the powder against the cup / into the resin to get rid of any clumps. Think like cake or pancake batter when you dump the liquid on top and a little ball of dry mix gets created from surface tension and you have to make sure to pop/smash them.
Because you put dry powder in the mold, some of the liquid resin soaked in to areas and some didn't, leaving different contrasts of dry powder encapsulated in the resin vs absorbed. If you know it can happen, it's a great technique rather than a problem.
Wow 😀😀 what a fantastic comment 😀😀🥰
I’m pinning this for others to read.
Thank you so much 🥰
