Wow, it boggles my mind that people really cant differentiate between a character that an actor plays and the actor. It always amazes me when people cant believe that someone playing a notable antagonist is a nice person outside of that role, which she certainly seems to be, or when someone known as playing protagonists isnt a nice person away from the camera.

the fucking book isn't even a high quality fantasy series like Terry Brooks or Weiss & Hickmans stuff....it engrosses its audience through sex, violence and death and while that is appealing Tolkien was able to do with very very little of those. Cunts...all of them
Russell Brookhaven That's true. I liked the Wheel of Time series at first but then it turned into a succession of hair tugging and dress smoothing. The women in those books were portrayed as stereotypical lunatics as well. It got old.
Russell Brookhaven I'll have to add R.A Salvatore, Raymond E. Feist and well any other fantasy author tbh. martin is a hard read and i been struggling through last book for over a year now any other and i could finish with in a couple days lol
watch her in Pride and Prejudice AND ZOMBIES, yes they made a movie like that and it has big stars. One of them is this beauty and she is a Bad ass. I was confused about the movie but ended up finishing it and then never watching it again.

Guys..I got this. I just meant Im happy Parks is well known in the UK. That's all. I don't know anyone who has heard of(before I told them) about Parks let alone watches it.
The fact that she managed to evoke such strong reactions from viewers is a testimony to her acting ability. Queen Cersei literally came to life due to Lena Headey's great portrayal of the role.
At least it means she act very well! If you dislike the character THAT much then she has portrayed her character perfectly :) People do still realise that herself is not the same as the character, but it's just what comes to mind when you see her.
Falrok Lakro so he is, one he still looks like a kid and two I still have a bit of trouble thinking that someone born while I was in 3rd grade is over 20 now.
Falrok Lakro Actually when I see Joffrey I think he is a kid of 16 or younger…when I see Jack the actor, I realize I am looking at a college aged person in their early twenties. He is a great actor.

Crazy to know how confident cersei is and then to see lena here actually be nervous as hell. Gave me a new found love and respect for her as a person and actress
She plays a character and she does it well, it is called acting lol ! It never ceases to amaze me how out of touch with reality some people are.. People who can not differentiate between fact and fantasy should be on some serious medication. JS..
Omar Mohamed I am acting like you're being the weird one because I'm NOT provoking anyone. I just signed onto youtube to apparently be apart of a youtube argument I didn't even instigate or wish to have.
Never imagined the actross playing Cercei to have such a "Rock n Roll" attitude about her. When I googled Lena, I wasn't surprised that she married a musician.
Whenever someone hates an actor/actress for the characters they play, all I can think is, "You do know this is fiction, right??" Like in Breaking Bad with the woman who played Skylar, who btw I hate too, apparently fans legit hated her (meaning the actress) and I'm just like........................................I'm done. People are so stupid. I doubt it's like that for Lena Headey, but still, what the fuck people.
I couldn't believe when I first heard of such scenarios that there are actually people in the world who don't know that A. The characters are fictional and the actors are PAID to say those lines, and B. The actors DON'T WRITE the lines and usually have nothing to do with the writing. Sadly, people apparently are that dumb. Even in a local play I was in where I was the lead role (who was also the villain/murderess), I had a few people come up to me afterwards and call me a bitch. Granted most of them did it in an endearing way (complimenting my portrayal of the character), but a couple of them seriously lectured me about my 'cruelty'. I was like, "Um, you know I didn't write my character, right? And the guys who died in the play are standing right here next to me..."
IronHarper Absolutely, I hated the character of Joffrey and I give total respect to Jack Gleeson for bringing out all the anger inducing qualities that character portrays in the books. Everything from his demeanor in scenes to the sincerity in how he delivers his lines makes that character really come alive on-screen. I love it.
So much hatred towards this actress for a character she plays. For her, it should be a compliment. She plays a villain and does an amazing job as an actress.
Yes, Cersei is a villian, but she is a great villian, I don't hate anyone in this show or book series (even Joffrey), all of the characters are amazing in their own way

Yes "hug" is all I want to do to her. I had no clue there was another way to spell sex with h u g.
A fabulous actress who gives her character terrific complexity and depth. Her scenes are always interesting to watch.
She needs to get an Emmy nomination (atleast) just for that calm dangerous coldness in her voice when playing Cersei is. What a wonderful actress she is
waaahhh I love Lena Headey Im surprised she hasnt won an award for her perfomance as Cersei yet. :|
lol, what?!
Nah its all about Pete
Lucky Faux hahahaha brilliant response he IS the best your right
Zoë Zo As much as I love Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey is a terrific actress! Playing Cersei the way she does, making us hate her, yet also showing vulnerability and some redeeming qualities, that's incredible!Did Jack Gleeson get an award for Jeoffrey?
DonWoschto lol, what?!
she looks like an older keira knightley
yess
I always thought that too.
Right on
at first sight I thought she was
More attractive too. Plus, her character is much more interesting than any of Kiera's that I've seen
Any actor who plays a villain and makes you hate them personally is a great actor.
As an introvert with social anxiety, it's nice to see someone with a similar personality interviewed.
It's amazing how different Lena Headey is from her Cersei character.
It's almost like she is a completely different person...
It's like she was pretending to be someone else :/
GOT has one of the best casting I have ever seen. Flawless show.
Haha. You should see Emilia Clarke without the wig.
Brian Cheng probably because its a TV show, and she is an actress...
her quiet voice and shyness is quite captivating to me.
t
it is kind of ironic that cersi is shy on a tv talk show
***** wait.....WHAT? fucking what?!?!? how did i not know that? and the would mean that game of thrones is not real and in infact a book series and a tv show?!?! well thanks for notifying me emily!
***** Does that mean that dragons aren't real?
ALL MY DREAMS ARE CRUSHED!
When I see how different these actors really are from their characters, it makes me appreciate them so much more! They really are incredible at what they do and super talented! Game of thrones is 100% my favorite show of all time, in fact I'm literally watching it right now . Just the difference in facial expressions alone is amazing... The way that they carry themselves and articulate so differently as their characters is damn impressive!!!
How is Cersei the antagonist? She's just playing the game of thrones like everyone else.
i couldn't agree more. people see the characters actors play and assume that's how they really are. it's just a job.
Ya the poor kid that plays joffery gets dished on a lot but everyone from the cast talks about how nice he actually is.
Matt Alley People don't realise that those are actually good characters. Then again, most people can't experience life outside of their own ego.
People are stupid
How stupid are people for not being able to separate a TV show/book from reality. I seriously want to throttle these people...
I have seen interviews of Jack Gleeson and he is a very nice person and to this day i have a recurring dream where me and him hangout and after having a wonderful time, he orders sir illyn payne to behead be...
the fucking book isn't even a high quality fantasy series like Terry Brooks or Weiss & Hickmans stuff....it engrosses its audience through sex, violence and death and while that is appealing Tolkien was able to do with very very little of those. Cunts...all of them
Russell Brookhaven That's true. I liked the Wheel of Time series at first but then it turned into a succession of hair tugging and dress smoothing. The women in those books were portrayed as stereotypical lunatics as well. It got old.
I'm actually surprised that she get any hate at all, considering that this is an ADULT tv show.
Russell Brookhaven I'll have to add R.A Salvatore, Raymond E. Feist and well any other fantasy author tbh. martin is a hard read and i been struggling through last book for over a year now any other and i could finish with in a couple days lol
"Why you terrified? We're idiots!" HAHA LMAO
I'm glad interviews exist. That way, we can know their real personality and realize how far they are from their professional characters they play.
her face is soo fkn expressive and she got the goofy style, i can barely recognize her as cersei
She wil always be the Spartan Queen
YES!!!!!
I loved her so much in there and then Cersei Lannister happened.
watch her in Pride and Prejudice AND ZOMBIES, yes they made a movie like that and it has big stars. One of them is this beauty and she is a Bad ass. I was confused about the movie but ended up finishing it and then never watching it again.
Alfred Paynita OMG! That is her.
Cersei FREAKING Lannister has "..a crush on Ron Swanson" - Ergo - Loves Parks and Recreation!!!!
A Brit ...loves Park and Recreation!! I'm so happy right now!!!;-)
I love you!
What about??
Guys..I got this. I just meant Im happy Parks is well known in the UK. That's all. I don't know anyone who has heard of(before I told them) about Parks let alone watches it.
Nasra Elmi He's cute but looks like an animatronic character lol
Ann Boylen Who Ron???
The fact that she managed to evoke such strong reactions from viewers is a testimony to her acting ability. Queen Cersei literally came to life due to Lena Headey's great portrayal of the role.
Lena Headley reminds me of Keira Knightley, if u know what i mean.
They have similar voices
They have the same look of jaw and teeth.
Although Lena is a great actress...
TheSmilingSun No, I don't...
NuSh the way she speaks is same with Keira
them men next to Lena looks like Davos
That is Sir Ronald Swanson.
OtaconAlonsus
Ronald of House Swanson. The sigil is a glorious large mustache against an amber cloth.
"All your bacon. All your eggs."
ADOGSNIPER95 Long live Lord Ronald of House Swanson!
Maureen Kitty My exact thought....! :D
Maureen Kitty more like Ron Mopatis
At least it means she act very well! If you dislike the character THAT much then she has portrayed her character perfectly :) People do still realise that herself is not the same as the character, but it's just what comes to mind when you see her.
yea Like the Kid that plays Joffery..I can't stand that little &*%#..but that means that kid is an awesome actor...
LaughingOwlKiller he's 20 lol he's not a kid
Falrok Lakro
so he is, one he still looks like a kid and two I still have a bit of trouble thinking that someone born while I was in 3rd grade is over 20 now.
Watch an interview of Jack Gleeson(Geoffery) he's really cool.
Falrok Lakro Actually when I see Joffrey I think he is a kid of 16 or younger…when I see Jack the actor, I realize I am looking at a college aged person in their early twenties. He is a great actor.
Seeing Cersei laugh like a normal human is so strange lol
She is such a lovely woman.
Its so weird how she doesn't look anything like the character on the show. Total transformation.
She could be my sister, if you know what I mean...
; )
leftyfourguns I'm with ya
leftyfourguns your sick lol
leftyfourguns lolololololol
Ewwww.... wait what did you mean?
leftyfourguns what do ya mean
She is an amazing actress - so cute, shy and adorable here - but able to brilliantly act incredible characters (300, purge, GOT, etc.).
She is an amazing actress. Her acting is always so great and convincing, making you hate the character and intrigue by her actions. I am still really amazed that some people still can differentiate real life and fiction. Damn.
"Thank you. I'm also a little nervous to be seated next to the House of Lannister."
Gets me every time.
She's also really good in Dredd
+dovestones Just watched it today. A very decent movie, was pleasantly surprised. I think it might have done better if not for the original.
bed*
+I Review lol not lol
Victor Raphals-Kath K
I Review lol tho
She is my favourite in cast, amazing actress... Her mimics, her emotions, her facial expressions, her tone when she is speaking. She is so talented...
Nick Offerman wold be brilliant i Game of Thrones! He would just stare his enemies to death!
he's ser davos' stunt double
Ron of House Swanson, first of his name.
Bend the knee.
No.
Does anyone else think she looks ten times hotter as a brunette?
Gellvos Yeah, that kinda sucked :/
She's ugly
Chaynez N Fayme pls go have ur eyes check nobody cares about your opinion -_- dont call my bae ugly.
I care about my opinion, my eyes are 20/20 and she's a dog.
Chaynez N Fayme Sshhhhh
"Man, he's smooth" LOL
Crazy to know how confident cersei is and then to see lena here actually be nervous as hell. Gave me a new found love and respect for her as a person and actress
She plays a character and she does it well, it is called acting lol ! It never ceases to amaze me how out of touch with reality some people are.. People who can not differentiate between fact and fantasy should be on some serious medication. JS..
Book Cersei is much much much worse than Show Cersei, so dont hate the actress, she is amazing
+Legend71377 did you read it?
Omar Mohamed No... thats why im asking?
Legend71377 don't act like im the dumb one here you're comment was stupid so i thought you were being sarcastic
Omar Mohamed wtf?
Omar Mohamed I am acting like you're being the weird one because I'm NOT provoking anyone. I just signed onto youtube to apparently be apart of a youtube argument I didn't even instigate or wish to have.
Is it bad that I really like her character?
No.
Yes.
Maybe.
Some people are turned on by Ramsay Bolton so you're good
i like her too...she is smart and sneaky and she knows what she wants. she is passionate about her family...
I love the way Conan makes her comfortable to be on the show. Good job Conan!
OperaSpider Yeah, people are stupid.
If you cause people to hate you through your character, you're doing that shit right.
IronHarper You're goddamn right! :D
I love it.
loved her as Ma-Ma in Judge Dredd too.
Tulip Star Yeah. Don't fuck with the Ma-Ma clan.
0:53 that giggle, that damn giggle
So much hatred towards this actress for a character she plays. For her, it should be a compliment. She plays a villain and does an amazing job as an actress.
Yes, Cersei is a villian, but she is a great villian, I don't hate anyone in this show or book series (even Joffrey), all of the characters are amazing in their own way
I hate Joffrey, love his character and love the actor who portrays him.
ALAN BROWN I don't think that would stop her….but why are we talking about Cirsei here…isn't this about Lena?
in my original comment here I was talking about the character of Cersei, but yeah the acting on Lena Headey's part is spot-on
Guys i've found awesome GoT rpg :o look it up - po.st/uayNaM
i dont like her character but what's up with the hate. It's a character, not real. people need to learn to love one and another
Chi tran man if u see her u would hate her too and that only mean that she is brilliant actress
LORA JYHEFFECT I watch it and love her
Makes no sense when there's real people who do terrible things but give an actor, who seems like an amazing person, hell for a good performance
They really hit a jackpot casting great actors for the Lannister. I were rooting for them, their characters are more complex and interesting. The actors did an amazing job portraying them.
1:39 I love that "yea"
Haha yes, thank you!
this woman looks exactly like my english teacher.... i mean she already is kind of scary but now I feel like she is going to kill me for every wrong used tense.
Ask if she has a twin brother.
*wrongly used tense.
She's coming...
***** :-)
that's actually exactly what i was thinking
Queen of westeros and sparta.....
and Camelot
Paul Kellerman i am not sure but she is also the queen of the Jungle. Moglis Gf or something, lol
And also mother of the world saviour...
And an ultimate drug lord of the Peach Trees complex.
Pouk 3D YES!!
I love how she laughs when he says "I find some redeeming qualities in her"
